"Global Mission to Rescue Persecuted Children of Falun Gong Practitioners" Calls for Musical Compositions to Help Rescue the Children

August 12, 2005 |

(Clearwisdom.net) In order to rescue the children whose parents have been murdered by Jiang Zemin and his henchmen, the "Global Mission to Rescue Persecuted Children of Falun Gong Practitioners" has held benefit concerts in Toronto and New York. Art performances and video programs were presented at the benefit concerts to help people understand China's horrific persecution of Falun Gong practitioners and the subsequent adversities that have befallen the innocent children whose parents have been murdered during the persecution of Falun Gong that has been going on since July 20, 1999. Some of the orphans were so severely traumatized that they are suffering from serious mental problems or have even died from depression. Others have been living in poverty and destitution. The tragic stories of these children shocked the audience, who in turn offered their heartfelt support to the cause. In order to utilize music to clarify the truth at a different level, "Global Rescue" is now calling for more musical compositions from Falun Gong practitioners inside and outside of China.
