Falun Gong Human Rights Working Group Lodges Complaint with UN Against Singapore for Issuing Unjust Verdict
(Clearwisdom.net) The organization Falun Gong Human Rights
Working Group lodged a complaint against Singapore with the United
Nations on April 29, 2005, over the case in which the Singapore
police violated the basic human rights of two Falun Gong
practitioners and the court issued an unfair verdict.

(Clearwisdom.net) The unjust verdict issued by the Singapore
court against two Falun Gong practitioners, Ms. Ng Chye Huay and
Ms. Cheng Lujin, aroused great attention from practitioners
throughout the world. In the meantime, Singapore practitioners have
also been trying hard to appeal for the two fellow practitioners,
and delivered a petition to Singapore's president on May 2, 2005.

(Clearwisdom.net) On the morning of May 1, 2005, Falun Gong
practitioners in Japan petitioned in front of the Singapore Embassy
to Japan. They requested that Singapore stop assisting the Chinese
Communist Party (CCP) with the persecution of Falun Gong, and took
this opportunity to tell people about the withdrawal of a million
people from the CCP.
