Police Re-arrest Mr. Wang Xinchun, Who Has Already Lost His Feet Due to the Persecution

April 25, 2005 |

(Clearwisdom.net) On the morning of April 9, 2005, police from the 610 Office again arrested Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Wang Xinchun, who was working in a shoe store in the Jinshantun District of Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province. Mr. Wang lost his feet several years ago as a result of persecution by the police. Wang Zhiqian, another practitioner, was arrested there, too. Mr. Wang was put into a detention center.

Xiao Jingyu, the department head of the 610 Office, is in charge of persecuting the local Falun Gong practitioners. He and Gao Qinqguo, the head of Fengmao Forest Farm, had persecuted Mr. Wang Xinchun numerous times in the past. As a result, Mr. Wang lost both of his feet. Later Mr. Wang managed to move to the Jinshantun District and make a living by repairing shoes. Seeing him working in the shoe store, many people witnessed Mr. Wang's hardships because of his disability. They sympathized with him and denounced the cruelty of the police. These people began to believe the truth of the persecution, even though they had only recently heard about how Mr. Wang lost his feet. This put the police into a panic, and they did everything they could to send him back to jail.

Thirty-year-old Wang Xinchun is a young man who truly practices "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance." He lives at the Fengmao Forest Farm in Jinshantun. He started practicing Falun Dafa in 1998. Before that, he suffered from pancreatic cancer. Falun Dafa gave him a second life. Because he refused to be brainwashed, policeman Wang Wei and others persecuted and tortured him until he was disabled.

Without his feet and with only 60 yuan a month in social security benefits, Mr. Wang can barely make a living for himself. The Forest Farm used its authority to withhold the money and clothing given to him by Dafa practitioners and other kind people. To earn a living, Mr. Wang had to work in a shoe store. Should he be deprived of the right to make a living?
