Facts of the Persecution
1) Former Employee of Chengdu City Hongguang Vacuum Tube Factory, Fan Haidong, Persecuted in a Brainwashing Center
My name is Fan Haidong. I was an Associate Engineer at Hongguang Vacuum Tube Factory, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. Before I began to practice Falun Gong in 1996, I suffered from many diseases. After practicing Falun Gong for roughly one month, all illness symptoms disappeared. Since July 20, 1999, Jiang's followers persecuted me for practicing Falun Dafa. During a six-month period, I was detained 11 times, each time for about 15 days. On March 13, 2001, I was detained again. On April 6, 2001, because I refused to renounce Falun Dafa, I was sentenced to two years in a labor camp. After two years in a labor camp, my term was prolonged by 48 days. Without legal cause, I was detained in the Pi County Detention Center for a month, after which I was transferred to the Political and Judiciary Education Center in Xinjin County, which is notorious for persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. Now I am detained at the Chenghua District Brainwashing Center.

2) Crimes Committed by Song Liguo from the Huaibei Prison in Shandong Province
Song Liguo is the political director in the Second Team of the Seventh Division at Huaibei Prison. In February 2002, Song talked the second team leader Zhang Songliang into also persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. They used high voltage electric batons to shock practitioner Li Kejun (28 years old, from Xintai City, Shandong Province) and Li Gong (34 years old, from Qingdao City Shandong Province). In April 2004, some practitioners protested the persecution. Subsequently, Song instigated Zhang Songliang to shock practitioner Li Kejun and Li Shujun (employee of Qilu Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd. of Shandong Province) with high voltage electronic batons. Li Shujun had scars all over his head for more than a month. In the second team, Falun Gong practitioners were forced to work at least 14 hours a day. Practitioner Liu Jian (from Qingdao City, Shandong Province) couldn't sew fast enough, so Song ordered team leader Zhang Songliang and assistant team leader Liu Peijun to shock him with high voltage electronic batons.
