1. [Liaoning Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Jiang Wei is on a Hunger Strike; Her Life is in Danger
Ms. Jiang Wei, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province, was arrested on April 3, 2004. She was sentenced to 10 years in prison, and detained in the No.3 team of the No.3 Section in the Women's Prison of Pengluo Township in Masanjia, Shenyang City. She went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution and has become extremely weak. She was sent to the hospital and has endured brutal force-feeding. Her life is in great danger.
Previously, in November 1999, Jiang Wei was illegally sentenced to three years at the notorious Masanjia Forced Labor Camp for not renouncing Falun Gong. She suffered tremendously from all kinds of cruel torture. For example, she was shocked with many electric batons at the same time, beaten while hung up and locked in solitary confinement. She was subjected to the "riding an airplane" torture (a position where her head is down and the bottom part is up, while the arms are pulled upwards and stretched outwards like the wings of an airplane. The practitioner must hold this position for a long time.), made to stand with bare feet in winter time, and forced to labor for nearly 20 consecutive hours at a time. After 3 years, she got out of the labor camp in a dignified manner.

2. [Liaoning Province] Falun Dafa Practitioners Mr. Qiao Zhongjin and Mr. Zhao Hongli Received Sentences of 10 and 8 Years Respectively
On January 5, 2005, the Court in the Shuangta District of Chaoyang City sentenced Mr. Qiao Zhongjin and Mr. Zhao Hongli from Jianping County, Liaoning Province after they had been detained for nearly 8 months at the Wujiakou Detention Center in Chaoyang City. Mr. Qiao was sentenced to 10 years in prison, and Mr. Zhao was sentenced to 8 years in prison. Both of them are in the process of appealing to a higher court.
3. [Heilongjiang Province] Persecution Facts about Falun Dafa Practitioners Detained at Changlinzi Forced Labor Camp, Heilongjiang Province
Mr. He Qinghui, a practitioner from Bin County, is 35 years old. He was tortured so severely that he has became a vegetable. For the past two months he has been in a hospital. The criminals who tortured him are Liu Ye, Guo Lei, and jail policeman named Yang Yu, who is the assistant to the head of No.1 team.
Mr. Wang Shiwei, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Shuangcheng City, is 48 years old. One of his legs was broken during a torture session.
Mr. Xu Zhenfeng is also a victim. When Mr. He Qinghui and Mr. Wang Wei were tortured, he shouted, "Falun Dafa is good!" As a result his term was extended even though it was almost up.
4. [Liu'an City, Anhui Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Li Ruqing was Arrested, and Her Home Is Being Monitored
On January 26, 2005, Ms. Li Ruqing was seized at her home. Then the police ransacked it. The police confiscated some truth-clarification materials and a laptop computer. Several policemen are now staying in her home day and night, lying in wait to arrest the practitioners who come to her home to share their experiences.
5. [Gongyi City, Henan Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Wang Zhongqing Was Sent to a Forced Labor Camp For Clarifying the Truth to Others
Mr. Wang Zhongqing, a practitioner and a resident from Gongyi City, Henan Province, worked at the Zhaizigou Brick Factory in Qiaodi Town of Jingyang County, Shanxin Province. On November 8, 2004, when he clarified the truth to the local people, the Qiaodi Town Police Station in Jingyang County arrested him and sent him to the Jingyang Police Bureau.
Policemen there tortured Mr. Wang. Then they sealed the Brick Factory, and wouldn't allow them to sell their products. They even threatened to fine the owner 15,000 yuan because he didn't report to the police that there was a Falun Gong practitioner working there. The owner had to take them out to eat at a restaurant several times. That was not enough. They also extorted 6,800 yuan from the owner, for which they didn't issue any receipt. After that, they sent Mr. Wang to the Xianyang City Detention Center, where he was detained for over a month. Then they sent him to the Zaozihe Forced Labor Camp in Baoji City without notifying his family.
6. [Baise City, Guangxi Province] Falun Dafa Practitioners Mr. Liao Chunxing and Mr. He Zhi Were Arrested
Mr. Liao Chunxing is about 40 years old. On August 1, 2004, policemen from Baise City went to Chef Mr. Liao's home at No.42 Shuichangpo Avenue on Chengbei Road. They got his child to open the door by pretending that they were Express Mail carriers. After the door was opened, they forced their way into the home. They waited for Mr. Liao and handcuffed him as soon as he got home. They confiscated Mr. Liao's desktop computer, his Falun Dafa books and Teacher's newly published articles. On the same day they arrested Mr. Liao's wife, who is also a practitioner, and who works in a fast-food restaurant. After continuous interrogation for two days, they sent Mr. Liao's wife to the Tianyang County Detention Center, and she wasn't released for 15 days. Mr. Liao is an excellent chef and also the main breadwinner of the family. After he was arrested, his family faced serious financial difficulties. The income that his wife earns working in the fast-food restaurant is hardly enough to support their family.
Mr. He Zhi, 43 years old, is a computer teacher at No.3 Middle School in Baise City. At midnight on August 2, 2004, over a dozen policemen took him from his home by force. They also took his two computers and all of his truth-clarification CDs. At that time, his wife was working the nightshift and their daughter who is about 10 years old was left at home alone.
Mr. Liao Chunxing and Mr. He Zhi are now detained at the Youjiang District Forced Labor Camp in Baise City.
7. [Huaihua City, Hunan Province] The Persecution suffered by Ms. Wang Ling
Ms. Wang Ling, 38 years old, was employed at the Hongjiang City Road Bureau Administration Station in Huaihua City, Hunan Province. In 1998, she started practicing Falun Gong. After July 20, 1999, Ms. Wang went to Beijing to appeal to the government. She wanted to tell them the truth about how she benefited from practicing Falun Gong. She was detained for 15 days. Later, due to her clarifying the truth to other people, she was arrested again. She was detained at Baihunao Detention Center, Hongjiang City for about one month. In 2000, because she was steadfast in her cultivation, she was forced to leave the Hongjiang City Road Bureau Toll Station. Some said that she was terminated; some said that she was forced to transfer to a Road Station in a township to repair roads. Later, she succumbed to the torture and brainwashing and was "transformed", and divorced from her husband. After going against her conscience, she became spiritual depressed and unable to deal with the mental pressure. She therefore sometimes appeared to be mentally unstable.
In 2003, Ms. Wang requested her job back. She also told some people that, if her employment problem wasn't resolved, she had the right to go to Beijing for justice. The "610 Office" used that as an excuse to extort 5,000 "yuan" from Ms. Wang as a security deposit to prevent her from appealing to the government. They also forced Ms. Wang's company to have her parents trick her into going to the Hunan Province No.4 Jail Mental Hospital (in their local suburban area), where they forced her to take injections of psychotropic drugs.
At the end of December 2004, Ms. Wang Ling died at a hotel in Hongjiang District. She had 1,000 yuan with her and receipt from the hotel. The cause of her death is unknown. Ms. Wang's body was immediately cremated. It was said that the 610 Office Political and Security Division Manager Zhou Wei went to scene.
8. [Binzhou City, Shandong Province] The Entire Staff of the Binzhou City "610 Office" Was Laid Off
In 2004, another 19 Falun Dafa practitioners were arrested in Binzhou City, Shandong Province, for handing out truth-clarification materials. Among them, four were sentenced to jail and 15 were sent to a forced labor camp. The municipal government laid off all "610 Office" staff members for their incompetence in persecuting Falun Gong.
9. [Shanghai City] Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Chen Boying and Ms. Chen Jing Fan Were Arrested Again
Mr. Chen Boying, about 43 years old, lives in the Minxing District in Shanghai City. After he went to Beijing to appeal to the government, he was arrested and was cruelly tortured. Between 2001 and 2003, he was sent to a forced labor camp. Later he got out of there with righteous thoughts. In April 2004, Mr. Chen was arrested again. Now no one knows his whereabouts.
Ms. Chen Jingfang, about 43 years old, lives in the Jiading District, Shanghai City. In 2001 and 2003, she was detained at a forced labor camp. After going through all kinds of tribulations, she got out of the forced labor camp with righteous thoughts. Ms. Chen was arrested again in November 2004.
