Ms. Ma Guifen and Ms. Cui Dengzhi from Shandong Province and Ms. Zhu Yuting from Hebei Province Passed Away as a Result of Persecution

March 01, 2005 |

(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Ma Guifen, a 58-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner, was employed by the Jinan City Casting & Forging Institute in Shandong Province. She started practicing Falun Dafa in 1996, and her husband and son soon joined her. After the persecution started in 1999, their home was ransacked, and the police extorted money from them many times, leaving them penniless. Her husband and son were both sentenced to three years of forced labor in 2001, while her employer forced her to attend a brainwashing class and write a guarantee statement or he would not pay her salary. Ms. Ma Guifen refused to cooperate. She often did not have enough money to buy food. The long-term effect of this torture and harassment affected her deeply. She died of a stroke on February 18, 2004.

Ms. Cui Guizhi was a 57-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner who lived in Songcun Town, Wendeng City, Shandong Province. She obtained the Fa in 1998, and her long-term diabetes was cured. She was arrested many times, detained in brainwashing classes, and had two thousand yuan extorted from her. She passed away soon after being sent home on September 15, 2002.

Ms. Zhu Yuting was a 58-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner from Gudianxiang Village, Wangdu County, Hebei Province. Before she began practicing Falun Gong, she suffered high blood pressure, heart disease, chronic headaches, and lower back and leg pain. She happened onto a Falun Dafa practice site in 1997, and felt that she had seen Master Li somewhere before. She started practicing that day, and all her illnesses were gone within a half month. She cultivated diligently and became very healthy. After July 20, 1999, officials from the village and township went to her home repeatedly to harass her. Several fellow practitioners went to Beijing to appeal in 2000, resulting in the police detaining all of the practitioners in the township in one room, and not allowing them to go home. Ms. Zhu Yuting was brutally beaten by police that day. The police claimed that, although she did not go to Beijing, the others were directed by her to go, and that she was hiding information. Ms. Zhu Yuting passed away as a result of the persecution on December 13, 2000.
