December 20, 2005 |   By practitioner from Florida

(Clearwisom.net) On December 16, 2005, representative of Falun Dafa Association of the
State of Florida delivered a letter to the Honorary Consul General, George, M. Corrigan and Honorary Consul, Louis, Jr. Stinson at the Thai Consulate in Miami. The practitioners expressed their deepest concerns that, under the pressure of the Chinese Embassy, Thai police violated the rights of Falun Gong practitioners of Thailand. This has been ongoing over the past two weeks. The practitioners called for the Thailand Government to stop assisting the Chinese Communist Regime in persecuting Chinese people and violating human rights.

In the letter, practitioners pointed out that on December 10, International Human Rights Day, while practitioners were protesting in front of the Chinese Embassy, Thai police were instigated by embassy officials to search practitioners' bags, drag them away, seize their banners etc. On December 14, two practitioners were beaten and then three were arrested when they distributing materials that exposing the evil nature of the Chinese Communist Party at the tourist city Pattaya. They were released that night. On December 15, eight practitioners were arrested in front of the Chinese Embassy by Thai police and they are still detained. These behaviors violate the human rights of a legal local group--Falun Gong practitioners of Thailand.

In the end the letter said that practitioners will keep exposing and protesting the viciousness of the Chinese Communist Regime. They hope that Thai Government would support the practitioners' righteous action, and thoroughly investigate the violating human right behavior of the police.

An assistant to the Consul received practitioners and promised to report to the Consuls. She showed shock at the inhuman deed that police raped female practitioners, and expressed that before the letter, the Consuls have received many faxes and emails concerning this issue. She also made an appointment for practitioners to meet with Consular officials the following week.
