(Clearwisdom.net) Wang Lifu, male, was born in 1931 in Gaomi, Weifang City. He was Weifang City's Deputy Party Secretary and was in charge of the Political and Judiciary Section of the city. He was also in charge of persecuting Falun Gong. Wang was extremely hostile toward Falun Gong and attacked Falun Gong on many occasions.
On July 14, 1999, in order to resolve the issue when the "Popular Science Forum" slandered Dafa, Weifang practitioners and other Dafa disciples in the surrounding area came to Weifang's Municipal Government Building to appeal, in accordance with the law. Wang Lifu, who was in charge of the Municipal Government in the absence of the mayor and Party secretary, was so afraid that he passed out several times and was on an IV drip the entire night. After July 20th, Wang Lifu retaliated against Dafa disciples. The ten representatives at the July 14th appeal were all illegally arrested and interrogated after July 20th. In order to vent his personal hatred, he orchestrated the sentence of Li Tianmin, one of the ten representatives at the July 14th appeal, and the sentence of the coordinator for the Weifang Falun Dafa Assistance Center - four years in prison.
In the spring of 2002, Wang Lifu died of lung cancer, soon after he was promoted to the position of Chairman of Weifang City's Political Consultation Conference.
Editor's note:
Each time we publish news of this nature, we do so with heavy hearts. These people started out as public servants, but under the intense pressure applied by the Jiang regime, they were pushed into persecuting Dafa disciples. In the process of destroying the lives of kind, law-abiding citizens, they sealed their own fates and inevitably face karmic retribution as punishment. If it weren't for Jiang's wicked orders, perhaps their fates would have been different. We do not like reporting these stories of karmic retribution; however, we really don't want to see these people involved in hurting themselves without being aware of the facts. Exposing the evil-doings and the karmic retribution happening to the people involved in the persecution is done in order to make them stop, or do fewer bad things, and to offer more people a way out who are in dire danger.
