Although she has been practicing for only a few years, Ms. Wang Aiju is a determined Falun Dafa practitioner. In spite of the brutal torture in the labor camp, she has never given in and was released in January of 2004. On August 5, when she was clarifying the truth at a suburban farm area, police officers from Kaifeng City arrested her and later on ransacked her home. Wang Aiju is currently being held at Kaifeng City's Detention Center.

Practitioner Wang Yan is being held at Xingtai City's No. 1 Detention Center. He has been on a hunger strike since June 2004. The daily force-feeding is endangering his life.

Wang Chenbiao, a practitioner from Shijiazhuang City who took part in tapping into a cable TV network to clarify the truth of Falun Gong, is also being held at Xingtai City's No. 1 Detention Center.

Wang Yan's wife Li Yueran is being held at Xingtai Town's Detention Center. She has ended her hunger strike. The previous report that she had become blind is an error.

In the morning of August 12, 2004, personnel from Yubei District's "610 Office" in Chongqing City, persons from the local police and certain local government officials, 40 people in all, arrived in five police vehicles at the Baiyun Middle School in Mu'er Town. These persons arrested 32-year-old practitioner Mr. Deng Xu, a teacher at the Baiyun Middle School. The police confiscated Deng's computer, printer, office supplies and Dafa truth-clarifying materials and some cash.

The police rushed away after they ransacked the place. Deng Xu is now being detained at the Yubei District Prison. The detailed information is under investigation.

On August 10, 2004, police officer Du Hengli and his underlings from the political and security section of the police department of Bei'an City's Tongbei Forestry Industry Bureau arrested practitioners Han Shuqing and Pu Xiuying, over 60 years old, employees of the bureau, when these practitioners were distributing truth-clarifying flyers and CDs on buses. The practitioners were held at the detention center of the bureau's police department..

Practitioner Jia Qingshu from Shenyang City worked in Shenyang City's Education Institute, and was arrested on July 19, 2004 and sent to the city's Zhangshi Brainwashing Class. The perpetrators were persons from Dongling District's "610 Office" in Shenyang City.

According to an insider, Jia Qingshu's work unit colluded in his arrest with the local "610 Office." The last time, Jia had been released before his detention term expired from the Zhangshi Force Labor Camp because he had renounced his belief. After his release, Jia realized that this was wrong and resumed cultivation. Jia Qingshu has so far not been released and details about his situation remain unclear.

On April 28, 2004, practitioner Sun Hejie from Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province was arrested. Perpetrators were personnel from the Explosion Prevention Team of the city's police department from a place close to the Jinchao Road Gas Station. Sun was sentenced to two years of forced labor. Currently Sun is being held in the No.2 Brigade of Jinzhou City's Forced Labor Camp.

7. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Wen Liying is Under Illegal Surveillance

Practitioner Ms. Wen Liying from Shijiazhuang City was reported when distributing truth-clarifying materials at Zhaotong in late July. Afterwards, personnel from the local police precinct arrested her and ransacked her home. Wen Liying is released by now but is under surveillance, a duty executed by persons from the Tangu Police Precinct and the Yinglongnan District Community.

Practitioner Mr. Wang Lin was arrested by police officers from Jinzhou City's Lingnan Police Precinct because he clarified the truth about Falun Gong to vendors in a vegetable market when he was shopping on August 9 after work. Wang Lin now is being held in the city's No.1 Detention Center.

On August 13, 2004, practitioner Ms. Yang Xingmei of the Fourth Group, Diansuo Village, Panlian Town, Miyi County, Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province, was arrested. It is said that someone had reported to the authorities that she is practicing Falun Gong at home. Yang Zihua, head of the National Security Team of the police precinct, led people to her home and arrested her.

Dafa practitioner Mr. Bai Xuchang from Daqing City has been subjected to long-term incarceration at Daqing City's Forced Labor Camp. He has been tortured so severely that he has been sent to a hospital for treatment at the beginning of August.

On August 12, lawless policemen from the Political and Security Section of Shahe City's Police Department colluded with personnel from the Baitai Police Precinct and the Shahe City Broadcasting Bureau to entrap Dafa practitioner Zhang Jianmin to come to his work unit. Then they went to search Zhang Jianmin's house and confiscated all of his Falun Dafa books. It is not known where Zhang Jianmin is currently being detained.

At about 7:00 p.m. on July 28, 2004, policeman Chen Xin from the No.1 Section in Dalian City's Police Department went to Dafa practitioner Mr. Cong Wei's work unit, the Nansha Haiwangxingchen Medical Company, and arrested him. Cong Wei is currently being held at Dalian City's Yaojia Detention Center.

This is the second time for police officer Chen Xin to arrest practitioner Cong Wei. The first time was in November 2000, when Cong Wei was sentenced to two years of forced labor. Dafa practitioner Mr. Cong Wei walked out of the forced labor camp with dignity in June 2001 after a hunger strike.

In the morning of August 7, 2004, when Dafa practitioner Sun Lin went out to post truth-clarifying materials, officers from the Binhe Road Police Precinct in Laixi City arrested her. Afterwards, six or seven policemen went to search her house and confiscated all of the Dafa truth-clarifying materials and books. Sun Lin is currently being held at Laixi City's Detention Center. The details are under investigation.

On July 27, 2004 in the morning, lawless officers from the Yuanbaoshan Mine Police Precinct duped Dafa practitioner Li Ruihua to emerge from his home and sent Li into the Pingju Sanatorium, which is actually a brainwashing class in the Balihan area in Ningcheng County. Yan Fude, the manager of Li Ruihua's work unit and the Labor Service Company from the Yuanbaoshan Mine allocated two employees to help reform Li Ruihua and offered them a 4,000 Yuan (1) "fee."
