1. Xishui County, Hubei Province] Falun Dafa Practitioners He Haiyan and Liu Guizhen Are Beaten by Police
On the evening of June 25, Ms. He Haiyan, who is in her sixties, and Ms. Liu Guizhen were abducted and beaten while distributing truth-clarifying materials near Xishui Railway Station. Policemen from the Xishui Public Security Bureau also searched the two practitioners' home without justification.
2. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Jilin Chemical Fiber Limited Company Persecutes Its Employees
Mr. Liu Guangrong, 57, is an employee from the Jilin Chemical Fiber Limited Company, and is a Falun Gong practitioner. In October 2002, he was arrested for distributing truth-clarifying materials and detained for one year in a forced labor camp. At the same time, his company fired him because he was detained. After completion of the initial term imposed on him, he still wasn't released for another six months.
At 8:30 a.m. on July 2, 2004, authorities from his company instructed staff from the Security Department (Jiuhua Police Substation) to go to his home and detain him with the charge of disturbing social order. They confiscated his Dafa books and materials as well. Currently he is being kept in custody in the No. 3 Detention Center of Jilin City.

3. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Practitioner Jiang Yong Is Abducted
Jiang Yong, a Falun Dafa practitioner, was abducted in April, and no news of his whereabouts has been reported since. Whether his is alive or dead is unknown. Recently, Jilin Provincial Public Security Department began scheming to secretly arrest a Changchun practitioner who had previously contacted Jiang Yong.

4. [Su County, Anhui Province] Falun Dafa Practitioners Are Persecuted in the No. 3 Prison of Su County
Mr. Dai Zhifeng, a Falun Dafa practitioner, is from Suixi County, Anhui Province. For practicing Falun Dafa, in 2002 he was sentenced to three years in prison and detained in the No. 3 Prison of Su County. He has been placed in confinement four times. From November 3 to December 12, 2003, he held a hunger strike to protest the illegal detention. Because he held a hunger strike, he was detained a fourth time. Each time, while handcuffed and fettered, guards and criminal detainees beat him and shocked him with electric batons.
Practitioner Li Che has been beaten many times both by criminal detainees and Liu Changchun, a guard.
Practitioner Xie Yuxiang was beaten by criminal detainees.
All jailed practitioners are under strict supervision and most are restricted from making phone calls or seeing family members.
5. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Three Falun Dafa Practitioners Are Illegally Arrested in Mianyang City
On June 26, 2004, a family of three practitioners returned to Jinshan Town, Mianyang City, Chengdu City. Local police unlawfully abducted them while they were clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa and posting truth-clarifying flyers. The three practitioners are Mr. He Baosen, his wife, and a female practitioner in her fifties, whose last name is Yang.
6. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Practitioner Li Jiabin and His Son Are Arrested
On June 14, 2004, Li Jiabin and his son, who are from Ganzi Town, Shuangliu County, Chengdu Province, were arrested at their home. People from the local "610 Office" (1) and the Village Party Secretary were involved in the abduction.
7. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Practitioner Huang Yunfang Is Detained
On June 15, 2004, Ms. Huang Yunfang, a practitioner from Wenjiang District in Chengdu City, was abducted by police while she was conducting business at a vendor stand near the No. 5 Hospital.
8. [Baoji City, Shanxi Province] Engineer Luo Yanting Is Illegally Detained
Mr. Luo Yanting (former name: Luo Xiaoyun), 48, an engineer from Baoji Communications Bureau, was illegally taken from his home by police on May 28. He is still detained and has been subjected to torture. His family members are not allowed to visit him.
9. [Yakeshi City, Inner Mongolia] Four Falun Dafa Practitioners Are Forcibly Taken to Brainwashing Class
On the afternoon of June 15, 2004, Ms. Huang Shuying, who lives at Xipingfang, was abducted from her home. Four policemen, and people from the No. 2 Office of the Forestry Administration Bureau, were responsible for the abduction. They forcibly sent Huang Shuying to a brainwashing class. According to our investigation, three additional practitioners are being detained at the brainwashing class.

10. [Beijing City] Practitioner Wu Zhenye from Yanqing County Is Arrested
Ms. Wu Zhenye, a doctor from Xinheying Village in Shenjiarong Town, Yanqing County, tried to explain the truth about Falun Dafa to her teacher while she was studying at Yanqing County Nursing School. Her teacher, who was poisoned by the government's negative propaganda, reported her to the police. On June 22, she was arrested and illegally taken to the Yanqing Detention Center.

11. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Practitioner Guo Guangyan Is Arrested
On the afternoon of May 25, 2004, under orders from the Qinglong Police Department of Chenghua Public Security Branch in Chengdu City, security guards from Jiangjun Village broke into Ms. Guo Guangyan's home. They confiscated Falun Dafa books and a picture of Mr. Li Hongzhi. The next day, Ms. Guo went back to ask for the books and to clarify the truth about the persecution. That afternoon, the police arrested her and sent her to Pi County Detention Center.
