1. [Xingcheng, Liaoning Province] Mr. Wang Zhongyan Secretly Sentenced to Seven Years in Prison
Mr. Wang Zhongyan is a Falun Dafa practitioner from Xingcheng, Liaoning Province. After being secretly sentenced to seven years in prison, Mr. Wang was to be sent to Dabei Prison in Shenyang City on November 1, 2004.

2. [Jinzhou City, Hebei Province] Three Falun Dafa Practitioners Tortured at Jinzhou Detention Center
Three Falun Dafa practitioners are being held at Jinzhou City Detention Center in Hebei Province. They are Mr. Lei Jiangtao, Mr. Gu Liqiang and Ms. Liu Cangmiao. They are being tortured because of raising public awareness of Falun Dafa.
Mr. Lei Jiangtao has been unlawfully held at the detention center for over a year. As he has long been deprived of the right to practice Falun Gong while having been overworked on labor assignments, he has become ill and remains in critical condition.
Mr. Gu Liqiang has been deprived of personal freedom and held in custody for over nine months. Inhumane treatment on top of intensive labor for extended hours has severely damaged his mind and body. He has lost so much weight that he has become emaciated.
On the morning of October 6, 2004, uniformed guards Xue Yucang and Gong Xinfeng brutally beat Dafa practitioner Ms. Liu Cangmiao for refusing to wear the prison uniform. The guards then dragged Ms. Liu back to her cell and handcuffed her to the steel bars until 3:00 or 4:00 p.m.

3. [Xinmin City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Jing Suo Sentenced to Four Years in Prison
Mr. Jing Suo, born in 1975, is a resident of Xinmin City, Liaoning Province. Prior to practicing Falun Dafa, he was a lawbreaker who associated with hooligans. After practicing Falun Dafa, however, Mr. Jing got rid of all his old habits, purified his mind and body and turned into a decent person of upstanding moral values.
On December 29, 2003, Mr. Jing attended a Falun Dafa conference in Shenyang City, after which he attracted the attention of the police, who have intensely targeted him since then. In July 2004, Jing Suo went to Sanhao Street to purchase supplies for a personal computer and the police followed him back to his place in Xinmin City, where they arrested him. The personal computer, printer and other equipment have all been confiscated.
Mr. Jing Suo was sentenced to four years in Nanhuayuan Prison in Fushun City, Liaoning Province.
4. [Sichuan Province] Ms. Li Xihui Endures Abuse at Xinjin Women's Prison, Resulting in Mental Impairment
Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Li Xihui, Party Secretary of Sichuan People's Broadcasting Station, is a veteran Party member. She was arrested at the end of August 2004 and has been held at Xinjin Women's Prison where she has endured severe persecution. When parents and colleagues went there to visit her, she appeared expressionless, her eyes seemed to have lost their former brilliance and she was unable to recognize any of her visitors. It is very likely that she has been injected with drugs that damage the neural system.
5. [Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province] Jixi Police Arrest Several Falun Dafa Practitioners
Around October 30, 2004, the Jixi City Police Department launched a campaign to arrest Falun Dafa practitioners in the Jixi area of Heilongjiang Province.
It has been verified that Mr. Qu Dehong and his wife (who was released after two days), Mr. Zhang Yuezeng and his wife Sun Jingkui, as well as Lu Zhengyi and Xing Defu, have been arrested. Police officers confiscated Jidong Falun Dafa practitioner Lu Zhengyi's small van, worth over 30,000 yuan. The practitioners have also been physically abused and tortured, especially during coercive interrogation sessions.
6. [Heilongjiang Province] The Fangzheng Forestry Bureau's Linqu Elementary Court Unlawfully Put Falun Dafa Practitioners on Trial
On the evening of May 26, 2004, Zhang Haicheng and other officers from the State Security Section of the Linqu Police Station arrested three practitioners after they were caught posting signs clarifying the truth of Falun Dafa. After their arrests, Zhang Haicheng and other officers tortured the three practitioners. They tried to coerce the practitioners to do and say as they ordered.
On the morning of November 3, 2004, the Fangzheng Forestry Bureau's Liuqu Elementary Court unlawfully put Falun Dafa practitioners Chen Haifeng, Li Hongkui and Dong Xiangguo on trial. Chen Haifeng and Li Hongkui defended themselves by citing strong evidence and offering convincing arguments in their favor. Ling Xinglin, the judge, hastily adjourned the session in order to prevent the practitioners from presenting their side of the argument.

7. [Xiuyan, Liaoning Province] Three Xiuyan Falun Dafa Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Li Guijun is from Xiuyan County, Liaoning Province. While purchasing wood at noon on November 6, 2004, she was turned in to the police for publicly raising awareness of Falun Dafa. Three officers from the State Security Unit arrived almost immediately, pushing Ms. Li's bicycle into a ditch and taking her into custody, where she has been held since then. Two other Falun Dafa practitioners were also arrested in the same week, also while raising public awareness of Falun Dafa. One of the practitioners arrested is Wang Wenju, a teacher at Tanggou Town, and the other is Zhang Xianwei, a teacher at Shimiao Town.
8. [Qiannan Prefecture, Guizhou Province] Three Falun Dafa Practitioners Arrested
After 2:00 p.m. on November 6, 2004, three Falun Dafa practitioners from Qiannan Miao Nationality Autonomous Prefecture, Zhou Yun, Li Qiyi and Ran Suhua, were arrested at or near their homes. The three practitioners have been taken to a brainwashing center located within the No. 173 Farm Machinery School.
9. [Beijing] Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Cui Guiyun Again Placed under Arrest
After having already served three years of forced labor, Ms. Cui Guiyun was released, but then constantly harassed by police officers repeatedly visiting her at her home. In October 2004, she went to the Dongtiejiangying residential area to distribute truth-clarifying materials and was turned in to the police. Officers from the Dongtiejiangying Police Station arrested her.

10. [Yinchuan City, Ningxia Autonomous Region] Police Arrest Ms. Shan Jining
Ms. Shan Jining, in her 30's, began practicing Falun Dafa in 1996. After the persecution began on July 20, 1999, she was sentenced to three years of forced labor for going to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. She remained in custody past the end of her term. At the end of the extension, Shan Jining was sent directly to a brainwashing center where she was abused. Afterwards, Ms. Shan still remained on the 610 Office's list of practitioners to be arrested for raising public awareness of Falun Dafa and for distributing truth-clarifying materials. For her own safety, Ms. Shan was forced into self-imposed exile in order to avoid being arrested from her home. On November 5, 2004, officers of the Yongning County Police Department in Ningxia Autonomous Region arrested Ms. Shan while she was distributing truth-clarifying materials. She is currently being held at the Yinchuan City Detention Center.

11. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Shenyang Military Zone Officers Arrest Mr. Wang Jiping
Mr. Wang Jiping is a Falun Dafa practitioner who was held at No. 224 Hospital, based in Jiamusi City and affiliated with the Shenyang Military Zone. It has been reported that Mr. Wang's escape from the hospital with righteous thoughts in mind, sent shock waves through the military zone. The commanders of the zone dispatched two senior colonels to be stationed at the hospital, applied pressure on the mayor of Jiamusi City, and ordered armed police to become directly involved in the search for Mr. Wang.
Over a dozen Falun Dafa practitioners have been unlawfully placed in custody. Using interrogation techniques that included torture, the military officers extracted information leading to his whereabouts and Mr. Wang Jiping was recaptured on October 25, 2004.
12. [Chongqing] Ms. Liu Yongmei from Qianjiang Arrested and Unlawfully Sentenced to Forced Labor
Ms. Liu Yongmei, almost 70 years old, is a Falun Dafa practitioner from Qianjiang, Chongqing. She has been unlawfully arrested by the Qianjiang Police and sentenced to forced labor.

13. [Ningxia Autonomous Region] Falun Dafa Student Ms. Mo Ping Unlawfully Sentenced to Three and a Half Years in Prison
Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Mo Ping, arrested in April 2003, has been secretly sentenced to three and a half years in Yinchuan Women's Prison.
14. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Retired Senior Engineer, Ms. He Yigui, Is Arrested
Ms. He Yigui, 62, is a retired senior engineer from the Southwestern Physics Institute of the Ministry of Nuclear Industry. She lives at No.109, Building 1, P.O. Box 432, on the Fourth Section of South Renmin Road in Chengdu City.
In 1999, Ms. He was held in custody for going to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. Later she was sentenced to forced labor and served the term outside the labor camp.
On the morning of November 5, 2004, He Yigui was turned in to the police for distributing DVDs containing information that clarified the truth about Falun Dafa. Officers from the Fangcaojie Police Station detained her, taking her to the Yulin Police Station before transferring her to a brainwashing center on the same afternoon. The police refuse to reveal Ms. He's whereabouts to her family.
15. [Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Jiang Xiaoying Enduring Inhumane Treatment at Majialong Forced Labor Camp
Ms. Jiang Xiaoying is a Falun Dafa practitioner in Jiujiang City. On June 10, 2002, she was taken to a detention center. In mid-October 2002, Ms. Jiang was sentenced to three years of forced labor at Majialong Forced Labor Camp. She was unconscious when taken to the labor camp, as she has been constantly abused and tortured in detention. Among the tortures and abuse Ms. Jiang has suffered, she has been deliberately scalded with boiling water and kicked in the abdomen. While she was asleep, phrases defaming Falun Dafa were written on her face and on the undersides of her feet. She was dragged by her head and smashed into a wall, then pushed to the ground to be stomped on. In one case of torture, Ms. Jiang lost over 1,000 mL of blood.

16. [Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Li Guihua Arrested Again
Ms. Li Guihua, close to 60 years old, lives in Jiujiang City. On October 26, 2004, the State Security Unit of Kaifa District took her into custody while she was raising public awareness of Falun Dafa. She was sent to Majialong Forced Labor Camp the same afternoon.
17. [Yancheng County, Henan Province] Mr. Tang Ruiqi Arrested
On the evening of September 15, 2004, Zheng Quanguo, Li Hailong and Yu Ronghua, leaders of the Yancheng County 610 Office in Henan Province, collaborated with Dengxiangwangzhuang Village Head Wang Xianjin, Zhang Jianshe and other village officials. They broke into Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Tang Ruiqi's home in Dengxiangwangzhuang Village, Yancheng County, while Mr. Tang's entire family was sound asleep. The officials and policemen smashed open the door and ransacked the place. They also took Mr. Tang into custody at the Yancheng Detention Center. The incident occurred in the middle of harvest season. Besides the corn fields that needed to be harvested, Mr. Tang's parents, in their 90's, also needed to be cared for. Mr. Tang's entire family was wailing as the police dragged him away, but the police showed no sympathy.
18. [Linying County, Henan Province] Homes of Falun Gong Practitioners Ransacked
At 2:00 p.m. on November 4, 2004, officers from the Linying County Police Department ransacked the homes of Falun Gong practitioners Mr. Li Yufeng, Mr. Li Gensheng and Mr. Li Jinsheng. Police also took Li Gensheng to the Linying County Detention Center.
19. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Sun Meihua from Liaohe Oil Fields Arrested
Recently, Ms. Sun Meihua, from the Liaohe Oil Fields in Panjin City, was arrested while distributing truth-clarifying materials near the Liaohe Oil Fields Central Hospital, and is currently held at the Liaohe Oil Fields Detention Center.

20. [Zhengzhou City, Henan Province] Ms. Xiang Qin Arrested by State Security Unit
Ms. Xiang Qin, in her forties, is from Chengguan Town in Linzhou City. In August 2004, she was arrested by state security officers while distributing truth-clarifying leaflets at the location of Qilintai in her hometown. She was later transferred to Zhengzhou City, and sentenced to two years of forced labor.
21. [Nong'an County, Jilin Province] Three More Abduction Cases of Falun Dafa Practitioners
At around 9:00 p.m. on October 28, 2004, Falun Dafa practitioners Mr. Liu Zhijun and his father, from Fulongquan Town in Nong'an County, went to Yong'an Township to raise public awareness of Falun Dafa, when Deputy Head Yao Yuan, of the Yong'an Township Police Station, arrested them. Mr. Liu and his father are now held in custody at the Nong'an County Detention Center.
After 8:00 p.m. on October 28, 2004, Sun Guichen, head of the Binhe Township Police Station, and several officers led by Li Jinghong, the security director of Qiantang Village, broke into the home of Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Song Xiuling. They ransacked her home and took her into custody. Ms. Song is currently held at the Nong'an County Detention Center.

In the early evening on November 3, 2004, police ransacked the home of Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Li Zhiyong in the Decheng District of Dezhou City. The officers took Mr. Li into custody and transferred him to the Dezhou City Detention Center the next day.
