1. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Falun Gong Practitioner Zhang Aimin and His Wife Liu Lin Arrested and Sent to the 610 Office's Jiangan District Brainwashing Class
On November 18, two perpetrators went to the home of practitioner Mr. Zhang Aimin and his wife Liu Lin on Huaqiao Street in the Jiangan District of Wuhan City. Zhang Aimin and Liu Lin tried to escape but were taken away and sent to the 610 Office's Jiangan District Brainwashing Class located in Chenjiaji.
This was the second time Zhang Aimin was sent to this brainwashing class. The first time he was sent there was on July 8, 2004. It was learned that Li Yingjie, head of the Jiangan District 610 Office, planned the abduction of Zhang Aimin and Liu Lin.

2. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia] Practitioner Mr. Su Zhankui Held in a Detention Center for Writing Falun Gong-Related Words; He Is on the Brink of Death
Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Su Zhankui is 20 years old and lives in Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. He underwent two major operations and took medications for 18 years to treat his hemorrhoids, but they persisted. After he started practicing Falun Gong in 2003, they were cured. On July 20, 2004, he wrote Falun Gong-related words in a public place, because all other channels of appeal are blocked by Jiang's regime. He was arrested and sent to Songshan District Detention Center in Chifeng City. He was not allowed to do Falun Gong exercises and as a result his hemorrhoids came back. He is extremely weak and on the brink of death.
3. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia] Practitioner Ms. Zhou Lichun Arrested Again for Clarifying the Truth
Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Zhou Lichun, around 30 years of age, lives in the Hongshan District of Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. On November 1, 2004, a local police officer named Sun and two other officers whose names are unknown arrested her as she clarified the truth at the morning market. Her current whereabouts are unclear. Officer Sun used to tell the residents of Toudao Street that a person would receive a 500-yuan reward for reporting a Falun Gong practitioner.
4. [Guyuan County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Practitioners Sun Runtao, Zhang Chunlan, and Jia Fengmei Arrested in Beijing
On October 29, 2004, Falun Gong practitioners Sun Runtao, Zhang Chunlan, and Jia Fengmei were arrested in Beijing. They were escorted back to Guyuan County on October 30 and sent to a detention center, where they are still being held. When they held a hunger strike, the guards repeatedly force-fed them.
Around November 2, 2004, Tian Haijiang and Yang Zhanling from the Guyuan County Police Department arrested practitioner Wen Tai from the Linyuan Division of Huanggainao Township in Guyuan County and sent him to the local detention center.

5. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Jiao Mingfeng and Other Practitioners Tortured at Chaoyanggou Forced Labor Camp
In August 2004, Zhang Dezhi, a police officer from the Qingshan Police Station, and officers from the Yushu City National Security Bureau arrested Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Jiao Mingfeng in Yushu City, Jilin Province. He is now being held in Division 5 of Chaoyanggou Forced Labor Camp in Changchun City, where he is being brutally tortured. Jiao Mingfeng cannot even walk due as a result of the torture. Another practitioner was paralyzed from torture.
Recently, some practitioners who were not longer able to work due to torture were forced to stand outside in the freezing cold. Because practitioner Jiao Mingfeng refused to work, Wang Yanwei, the head of the labor camp, hung up Jiao Mingfeng and beat him. Jiao Mingfeng was hung for an entire day, and he could not walk afterwards. He has been hung up for eight days.
6. [Beijing] Practitioner Wu Jun Arrested for Distributing Truth Clarification VCD's
Around November 22, practitioner Wu Jun from Fengtai in Beijing distributed truth clarification VCD's in the morning market in Yungang. Police officers from the Yungang Police Station arrested him and are still holding him.

7. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Brutal Persecution of Practitioners Cao Guozhi, Bi Yunfei and Others in Daqing City's Prison
Mr. Cao Guozhi, a graduate from the Jiamusi Education Institute; Mr. Bi Yunfei, a graduate from the Harbin Industrial University; and a Mr. Zhu are presently imprisoned in Daqing City's Prison, suffering inhuman persecution.
The Daqing City Prison guards instigated criminal inmates to verbally abuse and frequently beat the practitioners. Mr. Zhu is currently on a hunger strike to protest the persecution. The police also used criminal inmates to force-feed Mr. Zhu. The criminals twisted the inserted force-feeding tube back and forth to make Zhu suffer more. The three practitioners were sentenced to eight, five and 12 years of imprisonment, respectively.

8. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Practitioner Shen Yuanhui Sent to the Lubao Brainwashing Class in Sanshui City
On November 9, 2004, practitioner Shen Yuanhui from the Haizhu District of Guangzhou City was arrested and taken to the Lubao Brainwashing Class in Sanshui City, Guangdong Province.
Prior to this arrest, Shen Yuanhui had been imprisoned for almost three years at Haizhu District's "Legal Education" Brainwashing Class and Guangzhou City's "Legal Education" Brainwashing Class. Because this practitioner did not give up his/her righteous belief in Falun Dafa, he/she suffered severe physical torture and mental torment during the imprisonment. In February 2004 he/she was released. Even though Shen still had not recovered from internal injuries, he/she was arrested again.
9. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Rong Zhanmin Becomes a Paraplegic Due to the Persecution
Mr. Rong Zhanmin, presently imprisoned in Changchun City's Chaoyanggou Forced Labor Camp, has been on a hunger strike for many days. Six months ago, he became a paraplegic and had difficulty eating. Right now, he suffers from a serious internal hernia. The officials from the labor camp called Rong's family member to pay them 3,000 yuan to perform surgery.

10. [Maoming City, Guangdong Province] Arrest of Practitioners Chen Binggang, Li Jianyu and Chen Weiping
On November 19, 2004, police from Dianbai City arrested practitioners Mr. Chen Binggang, Li Jianyu, and Ms. Chen Weiping from Maoming City when they were verbally clarifying the truth of Dafa and distributing Dafa truth-clarifying materials. They are currently detained at Dianbai City's No. 1 Detention Center.
11. [Huazhou City, Guangdong Province] Practitioners Chen Meiling and Dai Yanping Sentenced to Five Years of Imprisonment for Distributing Dafa Truth Clarifying Materials
In 2002, practitioner Ms. Chen Meiling, 58 years old, from Huazhou City, was arrested while distributing truth-clarifying materials and was later sentenced to five years of imprisonment. She is still imprisoned in Guangzhou City Women's Prison.
In July 2002, practitioner Ms. Dai Yanping, 62 years old, from Huazhou City, was arrested when she was distributing truth-clarifying materials. On October 5, 2002, she was sentenced to five years of imprisonment. That same day her husband fell off a building when he heard the shocking news and died. Ms. Dai's son and daughter-in-law were afraid to live at home. They have been working in another city for a long time. Dai's personal belongings at home were recently stolen. Dai Yanping is currently imprisoned in the Guangzhou City Women's Prison. Her health is poor, and she has become blind in her right eye.
12. [Changzhi, Shanxi Province] Arrest of Practitioners Li Xiujuan, Chen Jianjun and Zhang Yuqin
On the evening of November 10, 2004, officers from Changzhi City's Suburban Police Department, from the Changbei Police Station, and from the Tiesan Bureau's No. 1 Division Police Station suddenly broke into the homes of practitioners Ms. Li Xiujuan, Mr.Chen Jianjun and Ms. Zhang Yuqin. The police confiscated Dafa materials and forcibly arrested the three practitioners.

13. [Hainan Province] He Jinya, Wang Jiaolian and Lan Pinxiang Captured and Taken to a Brainwashing Class for Distributing Falun Gong Truth-Clarifying Flyers
Retired employees Ms. He Jinya, Ms. Wang Jiaolian and Ms. Lan Pinxiang live at the No.2 Institute of Hainan Province's Military Area. During the morning of October 20, 2004, when they were distributing truth-clarifying flyers, people from the Joint Defense Team patrolling for security captured them. They were sent to the Haifu Road Police Precinct. In the morning, personnel from the police precinct and leaders from the Logistics Department of the Political Section of Hainan Province's Military ransacked the practitioners' houses. In the evening, they transferred the practitioners to the Automobile Company for brainwashing.
14. [Shanghai] Zhou Lihui Is Often Harassed by Policemen from the City's National Security Bureau
Mr. Zhou Lihui is a Machine Control and Automation Major with a Ph.D. from Shanghai's Jiao Tong University. Because he went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong, he was threatened by Ji Kaifeng from the university's Security Section, and also by Chen Wei and Gao Peihong, policemen from National Security Bureau. They often "invited" Zhou Lihui to "have tea" but actually tried to coerce him into providing information about other practitioners. Zhou Lihui refused to comply with their request.
In the summer of 2002, just before Zhou Lihui received his Ph.D. from the university, personnel from the National Security Bureau and the university's Party committee got him to come to a particular office under false pretenses and, completely unexpectedly, sent him to a brainwashing class.
That same summer Zhou Lihui moved out of university housing to a rented house. The national Security Bureau officials tracked him down and found out his address. They lied to the landlord and other people on the street that "a killer is living there." This greatly damaged Zhou Lihui's reputation. They also coerced a group of people to harass the landlord, but Zhou Lihui moved out before they did anything. Then the policemen arrested the landlord, who is also a practitioner, and took him/her to a brainwashing class.
By the end of 2002, because Zhou Lihui hadn't found a job, he went back to his hometown area on Wenmiao Street in Shanghe Town, Tongnan County, Chongqing City, Sichuan Province. When the National Security Bureau police discovered this, they went to his home and abducted him to the local police department, where he was intimidated and threatened. They canceled his permanent residence registration at Jiao Tong University. The local police department refused to register him. They also prohibited him from looking for a job.
15. [Wendeng City, Shandong Province] Ms. Shi Xiuhua Sentenced to Two Years of Forced Labor by the City's Police Department and Persons from the 610 Office
Ms. Shi Xiuhua, over 60 years old, lives in Erjia Village, Gaocun Town, Wendeng City, Shandong Province. She takes care of her over 80- year-old stepmother who has dementia. When Jiang's factions started to persecute Falun Gong, Shi Xiuhua went to Beijing to appeal. Because she had introduced Falun Gong to people and done the Falun Gong exercises at Huilongshan, she was detained twice and was fined 4,000 yuan, which bankrupted her family.
Around October 2004, Shi Xiuhua wrote a letter to Yu Haifeng, Wendeng City's Police Department's associate administrator, and to Wang Yongjian and Xiang Hongping, the 610 Office supervisors, asking them to return the fine. Instead, personnel from the 610 Office broke into her home and arrested her again. They fined her another 800 yuan and later sentenced her to two years of forced labor.
16. [Meizhou City, Guangdong Province] Illegal Arrest of Zhong Xiling and Li Meiping
On November 14, 2004, when Zhong Xiling and Ms. Li Meiping were clarifying the truth of Falun Gong in Dapu County, Meizhou City, Guangdong Province, they were arrested. At 2:00 a.m. on November 15, several policemen from Meizhou City's Police Department and Meijiang District's Police Department ransacked Zhong Xiling's house. The two practitioners are currently detained at Dapu County's Detention Center.
17. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] More Than 80 Practitioners Detained at Hebei Provincial Prison
It was reported that more than 80 Falun Gong practitioners are detained at 114T, Hebei Province's Machine Tool Factory, Hebei Provincial Prison in Baoding City. Each of them has been sentenced to over ten years in prison. The steadfast practitioners are separated from others. No family is allowed to visit them if they refuse to give up their belief.

18. [Yuzhou City, Henan Province] Police Arrest Feng Yuezhen, Feng Xuezhen and Zhu Qiaofen for Clarifying the Truth of Falun Gong
At the beginning of November 2004, Ms. Zhu Qiaofen from Li Village, Hongchang Town, Yuzhou City and Ms. Feng Xuezhen and Ms. Feng Yuezhen from Huangzhuangduan Village were arrested and taken to Yuzhou City's Police Department when they were clarifying the truth of Falun Gong to people. They have been detained for two weeks.
