1. [Yilan County, Heilongjiang Province] Wang Lizhi and Guo Xiuzhi on the Verge of Death from Torture
Ms. Wang Lizhi and Ms. Guo Xiuzhi from Hongkeli Town, Yilan County, Heilongjiang Province are on the verge of death from torture. They are under emergency care at the Yilan County Hospital. The police handcuffed them to the bed, fearing that they might run away.

2. [Yunfu City, Guangdong Province] Five Falun Gong Practitioners Sentenced to from Three to Four-and-a-Half Years of Imprisonment by Yuncheng District's Court Officials
On November 12, 2004, Yuncheng District's Court, Yunfu City, Guangdong Province sentenced five Falun Gong practitioners, Li Meihua, Mai Yuefa, Ms. Chen Jiequn, Ms. Lin Jinghong and Xu Shuhua to from 3 to 4-1/2 years of imprisonment.
3. [Dazhou City, Sichuan Province] Chen Xinghua Sentenced to One Year and Nine Months of Forced Labor
At around 2:30 p.m. on November 1, 2004, Ms. Chen Xinghua from Kaijiang County, Dazhou City, Sichuan Province was arrested by personnel from Kaijiang County's 610 Office and the National Security Team of the County's Police Department. The latter deceived Ms. Chen into going to a peasant's home in Yangliu Village, Pu'an Town, by asking her to go there to teach a "new practitioner" the Falun Gong exercises. Her home was ransacked shortly afterwards. She is now incarcerated at the Erliban Detention Center in Kaijiang County.
According to an insider, Ms. Chen Xinghua's case is a "special case" that the County's National Security Team handles personally. Everything is happening secretly. Ms. Chen's family members wanted to visit her but the National Security Team refused their request. On November 8, 2004, seven days after her arrest, Chen Xinghua was secretly sentenced to one year and nine months of forced labor and that evening was secretly transferred to the Seventh Section of the Sichuan Province Women's Forced Labor Camp.

4. [Anyue County, Sichuan Province] Tian Xu Arrested While Clarifying the Truth
On November 6, 2004, Mr. Tian Xu from Anyue County, Sichuan Province was arrested while clarifying the truth of Falun Gong and was later sent to the detention center at Anyue County's Police Department. It was alleged that police searched him and found three Falun Gong flyers. Police ransacked his home and confiscated a few Falun Gong books. Tian Xu has been on a hunger strike since November 6.
5. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Chen Yongbi Arrested
Around noon on October 26, 2004, led by Zhang Yongquan from the Security Department from the Hongming Radio Factory, six people including 610 Office officials from the Chenghua District and policeman Liu Chuanxiang from Jianshe Road's Police Precinct broke into the home of Ms. Chen Yongbi (Suite 11, Floor 6, Entrance 2, Building 14, No.43 Jianshe Road, Chengdu City), confiscated many Falun Gong books and materials and arrested Chen. Chen's whereabouts are unknown.
Ms. Chen Yongbi, a retired worker from Sichuan Province's No. 1 Cotton Mill is 58 years old. Her husband is also a retired employee from the Hongming Radio Factory. Prior to practicing Falun Gong, Chen had had hyperthyroidism for twenty years. She was on medical leave for almost ten years and was on the verge of death in 1997 due to her illness. After practicing Falun Gong, she became very healthy. She became kind toward other people and was well liked among her neighbors.

6. [Shandong Province] Falun Gong Practitioners Mentally Tormented at the Wangcun Forced Labor Camp
Currently, 178 Falun Gong practitioners are still detained in the Wangcun Forced Labor Camp in Shandong Province. Persecution methods used by the police there include: sleep deprivation, physical and mental torture and other gross mistreatment. Practitioners who are steadfast in cultivation were given small amounts of poor-quality food. The so-called "Reformed" practitioners are watched closely and forced to do endless physical labor. At present, Yan Shulu from Rushan City and another practitioner have been on a hunger strike for about five months to protest the inhuman treatment.
7. [Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Yang Wenmei Arrested While Posting Truth-Clarifying Material
Around 8:00 p.m. on the evening of November 5, 2004, while posting Falun Gong truth-clarifying material, Yang Wenmei was arrested by a patrol officer from the "110" team [Emergency number in China] and sent directly to a detention center.
8. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Zhang Jian Arrested While Distributing Truth-Clarifying Material
Practitioner Mr. Zhang Jian from the Daowai District in Harbin City was arrested while distributing truth-clarifying material. After being detained at the Daowai Detention Center, he was sent to the Procuratorate. The Procuratorate refused to sentence him due to "insufficient evidence." When his family members went to ask for his release, the police branch office denied their request on the grounds that Mr. Zhang refused to give up Falun Gong.

9. [Beijing] Practitioner Yang Shimin Arrested While Distributing Truth-Clarifying Material
Yang Shimin is 41 years old and lives in the western section of the Shiyuan residential area, the Shunyi District, Beijing. On the afternoon of November 7, 2004, local security personnel reported Yang Shimin while he distributed Falun Gong information materials. They abducted and took him to the Guangming Police Station. On November 8, Wang Yuying from the Street Administrative Committee led policemen Sun Chengshen and Xi Lei from the National Security Team to ransack Yang Shimin's home. Yang Shimin is now being held at the Nihe Detention Center in the Shunyi District.

10. [Beijing] Police Arrest Practitioner Gong Bohua and Ransack Her Home
Ms. Gong Bohua is 45 years old and lives at Meiying Village, Renhe Town, Shunyi District of Beijing. On September 30, 2004, six or seven officers from the Renhe Police Station in the Shunyi District took her away from home. Policemen Yang Haimin and Xi Lei from National Security Team confiscated one copy of the book Zhuan Falun, four videotapes and two sitting mats from Ms. Gong's home.
11. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Dong Liyuan Severely Tortured in a Forced Labor Camp
Mr. Dong Liyuan is from Dongxin Village, Shenjiatun Township of Zhangjiakou City in Hebei Province. He began practicing Falun Dafa in 2000 and benefited in both mind and body. His long-term illnesses disappeared. For the past several years he continued cultivation practice and strove forward to do well the three things. Around 11:00 p.m. on the night of April 22, 2004 he was abducted and taken to the Shenjiatun Township's Police Station. The local police said they did it to prevent him from going to appeal in Beijing.
The next morning, without going through any legal process, personnel from the police station deceived Mr. Dong into going with them to the Gaoyang Forced Labor Camp in Hebei Province.
Mr. Dong kept practicing Falun Dafa at the camp, but the guards tortured him in order to force him to "reform." Guards simultaneously shocked his entire body with several 50cm-long electric batons. Seven or eight guards kicked and punched him all at once. They even struck his head violently with wooden sticks. Mr. Dong was sent to an emergency room several times after falling unconscious from the beatings.
12. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Mr. Wang Jianmin Sent to a Brainwashing Class
As we learned recently, when practitioner Wang Jianmin's term of forced labor had expired, his work unit, Fengrun Railway, transferred him directly from the Hehuakeng Forced Labor Camp to the brainwashing class at Tangshan Textile Employees' University
13. [Zouping County, Shandong Province] Practitioners Sun Xiufang and Zhang Yuchun Arrested for Distributing Truth-Clarifying Flyers
On November 7, 2004, two practitioners - Sun Xiufang and Zhang Yuchun from Zouping County, Shandong Province were arrested while handing out truth-clarifying flyers. It is not known where they are being held.
Personnel from Zouping County's 610 Office have been closely following Jiang's regime to persecute Falun Gong practitioners since July 20, 1999. So far, 27 practitioners have been sentenced to forced labor. One practitioner was sentenced to prison.
14. [Chongqing] Ms. Tang Wanxiu Arrested While Clarifying the Truth and Sent to Dadukou District's Detention Center
Ms. Tang Wanxiu lives in the Jiulongpo District in Chongqing. On November 8, 2004 she went out to clarify truth to people and was arrested by personnel from Dadukou District's Police Department. She has been transferred to a detention center in the Jiulongpo District.
15. [Shangqiu City, Henan Province] Zhao Gongping Arrested While Clarifying Truth
On November 5, 2004, the police arrested Zhao Gongping, a native of Ningling County, Shangqiu City, Henan Province when this practitioner clarified truth in Yichuan City in western Henan Province. Zhao worked as a contractor in this region. Another contractor, a peasant who knows the truth of Falun Gong, was also arrested.
16. [Gongzhuling City, Jilin Province] Wang Yumei Cruelly Tortured
Ms. Wang Yumei is a native of Hanpaozi Village, Qinjiatun Town, Gongzhuling City, Jilin Province. On September 24, 2004 she was arrested at her home. On September 28 she was sent to the 3rd Brigade of the Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp in Changchun City. The accusation was that "she went to Beijing" but no evidence has been presented.
After Ms. Wang was arrested she suffered from cruel torture. She was first not allowed to sleep anytime before midnight. Later she was deprived of sleep 24 hours a day and was forced to sit on the cold concrete floor. Fu Yufen, head of the 3rd Brigade, ordered the police to take turns to beat and kick her and shock her with electric batons in an attempt to "reform" her. Ms. Wang Yumei is now in very poor health.
17. [Qianxi County, Hebei Province] Practitioners Ms. Chai Junxia and Ms. Zhao Xiucui Arrested
On November 8, 2004, around 9:00 p.m., Ms. Chai Junxia and Ms. Zhao Xiucui from Qianxi County of Hebei Province were arrested by staff from the Political & Security Section, Qianxi County's Police Department, simply because the police suspected that Chai Junxia was the one who made most of the Falun Gong materials in Qianxi.
