(Clearwisdom.net) I began practicing Falun Dafa at the end of 1994. The cultivation purified my body and mind. I helped to establish an exercise site at my workplace. The majority of my colleagues know the truth of Falun Dafa.

When the persecution began on July 20, 1999, because of my attachments, I did not come forward to validate Dafa. After Master published the article, "TowardsConsummation," I realized that my problem was just like what is said in the article, "It means that you haven't gotten rid of your fundamental attachments and that you are unable to understand the Fa (1) from the Fa." I identified my attachment and increased my righteous thoughts. I gradually started to validate Dafa and to explain the truth of Dafa and the persecution.

I go to work by bus and it is a long way. I meet a lot of people on the bus and I utilize this advantage to clarify the truth. I felt a little scared at the beginning of my truth clarification and I would only start to talk when I saw a kind face. Slowly, the more I talked the easier it became. Now I can clarify the truth to the passengers on the bus every day or while waiting at the bus stops on my way to and from work.

With the continuous practice of Falun Dafa, superior physical capabilities manifested in my body. I participated in an athletic meeting organized by our company's headquarters in 2002. I won two gold metals in short distance running events. Our leaders were so happy and praised me at big meetings and small meetings. They did not dare to say it openly, but in their hearts they know that people who practice Falun Gong do have very good health.

I participated in a basketball game organized again by our company's headquarters in 2004. Even though I am 47, I ran as fast as those young boys who are just over 20 and have graduated from an athlete school. I was even the leader of the team and threw two deciding baskets. Our team finally won the championship. Our team's young players were so excited and hugged me after the game. They exclaimed how powerful Falun Gong is in my body. I helped our work unit win first place and all those who know me said, "Keep practicing! Your health is better than anyone else's." Those who did not know me well asked me why my health is so good. I then told them that I practice Falun Gong. I utilized this opportunity to clarify the truth to them as well. They were very happy after hearing what I said and commented, "Be careful and safe! Keep up with the good practice!"

Previously, I always got together with my old schoolmates when I visited my hometown. My schoolmates were even more caring about me, particularly after Falun Gong was persecuted. Over the past several years I have told them the facts about Dafa and the persecution every time we got together. All these people who were close to 50 have certain diseases and ailment to one degree or another. When they saw me at a party after the basketball game, they exclaimed about the miraculous superiority of Falun Gong in the area of health improvement. Among my classmates was a policeman. I asked him about his recent doings. He raised his hand to me in a salute saying, "I listen to you" [meaning he does not persecute Falun Gong practitioners].

I have a classmate from elementary school whom I had not seen for over 30 years. He worked in the "610 Office." I saw him and said immediately, "I practice Falun Gong!" He said right away, "I no longer do it [bad things against practitioners] anymore!"

Along the cultivation path I had my dilemmas as well. For example, I did not go to Beijing to validate Dafa; the long commute to and from work affected my Fa study and exercises and some other areas of my life. Through Fa study I put down all these human attachments. Nothing is random or accidental. This perhaps is my cultivation path. If we grab every opportunity and our hearts and minds follow the Fa, we can offer salvation to human beings, no matter where we are.
