(Clearwisdom.net) I am a college student in Shandong Province, China, but I have had the most extraordinary experiences over the past five years because my mother is a determined Falun Gong (or Falun Dafa) practitioner. Jiang Zemin started his senseless persecution against Falun Gong on July 20, 1999, and after five years I continue to be touched by the efforts of practitioners in China. They have been unfailingly peaceful in the face of the ruthless torture and persecution, and they persevere in practicing Falun Gong and in telling people the truth about Falun Gong. I also have enormous respect for Falun Gong practitioners in China because they have the courage to say, "No" to the brutal Chinese government, even though it has cost them tears, pain, torture and even their precious lives. I cherish the materials containing important facts about Falun Gong that they have put together out of their own savings from their meager monthly incomes.
One evening not long ago, one of my classmates living in the same college dormitory suddenly brought up the subject of Falun Gong during a group chitchat and curiously asked me a question: "Do you think the Chinese government did the right thing oppressing Falun Gong?" Realizing this was a wonderful opportunity for her to know the truth about Falun Gong, I replied, "The Falun Gong practitioners that I know are not at all like what the Chinese Central TV (CCTV) has portrayed. I have known them as a group of kindhearted and unselfish people. Have you wondered why we have been receiving flyers containing the truth about Falun Gong for the past five years despite the government's persecution? Have you wondered why Falun Gong has become increasingly popular across all ethic groups outside of China and has received more than 1,000 proclamations from the governments around the world?"
These are really simple and basic questions that an average person might have about Falun Gong, but the people in China are afraid to ask them because of the government's ban and the Chinese media's slanderous propaganda. Everyone nodded and agreed, "Yeah, how come we have never considered these questions?" Then I suggested that they try to talk to real Falun Gong practitioners and try to find out the truth about Falun Gong. I said I believed that if they interacted with practitioners they would see the truth with their own eyes. As I was trying to inspire them to think from a completely different perspective to that of the Chinese media, their eyes sparkled with excitement and they kept asking questions about Falun Gong. I saw the kindness inside of them awakened during our conversation. A sense of justice and a wish to uphold justice slowly grew among us. We chatted for over three hours until 2:00 a.m. The eight of us didn't feel like sleeping at all because of the excitement and interest in the subject. It is a very rare thing for all eight of us to be so interested in one subject. I knew in my heart that sooner or later everyone in China will know about Jiang Zemin's scheme to fool the people with his lies about Falun Gong!
One day in an Information Systems class, the professor showed us some of the most popular search engines on the Internet. In order to demonstrate that the Chinese government blocks information on the Internet that it does not want people in China to know about, the professor did a search on the China version of google using the keywords, "Jiang Zemin." The search result was a page saying, "The page you requested cannot be found." The professor explained to us, "You see? In China, you are going nowhere if you do a regular search like this. Now I am going to show you a new way to beat the government's blocking of information." Then he started a program called Dongwangtong (meaning "Dynamic Net") and explained, "This software is designed to overcome the information blockade on the Internet. It is very effective. With Dongwangtong, you can access every website around the world. Allow me to demonstrate." Then he did the same keyword search on Google, but this time the search engine gave us a long list of results. Many of the web pages in the search results were from websites that Falun Gong practitioners have established to spread the truth about Falun Gong, such as Minghui.org. The search result included absolutely forbidden information in China, such as "The World Brings Jiang Zemin to Justice." Right away one of my classmates shouted out loud, "Professor! Let's go into that website! We have never had a chance to know this kind of news! We want to know about the trial against Jiang Zemin!" The professor smiled at us and delved into that website. He said playfully, "People all over the world are now trampling on the photos of the former chairman of the Communist Party of China! It goes without saying how depraved the man is! Class, what goes on in this classroom today stays in this room, all right? Otherwise I might lose my job. However, I can give each of you a copy of Dongwangtong so you can read the information about the overseas trial against Jiang Zemin at home!" The entire class broke into laughter. We were very impressed with the professor's courage to find the truth that the government does not want its people to know about. Since that class, our class has been surfing the Internet with the help of Dongwangtong. We have also learned to find out more facts on the Internet before we make judgments based on CCTV's one-sided information.
The following vacation, a young girl stayed over at my home for a visit. My mom took the opportunity and asked her if she knew the truth about Falun Gong. She was surprised by the question and admitted that she had never heard anything about Falun Gong except the reports from CCTV. My mom produced several VCDs containing important facts about Falun Gong and asked me to play them for my friend. I showed "Falun Dafa Is Spread Around the World," and "The Truth Behind the Self-Immolation Incident at Tiananmen Square," "The Human Rights Violations Against Falun Gong Practitioners in China," and "The World Brings Jiang Zemin to Justice." She reacted very strongly to these truth-clarification VCDs. When she saw the photographs of Falun Gong practitioners that have been tortured to death, she burst into tears and said, "How could this be happening? How could we allow these things to happen around us? I cannot believe that I have been living in a lie created by the Party without realizing it!" We watched the VCDs together until late into the night. She did not feel sleepy at all. Furthermore, she woke up early the next morning and the first thing she said to me was, "I did not sleep last night. I lay in bed thinking about the issue of Falun Gong. I decided that I must finish watching these VCDs, and I won't leave until I do!" I was very moved by her determination to know the truth, so I played the remaining VCDs for her. She was feeling both satisfied and sad. She was happy that she finally knew the truth, but she was sad that she had fallen victim to the Party's lies about Falun Gong for so many years. She was also upset that there are a lot of people that have not learned the truth about Falun Gong.
(Clearwisdom.net) There is a family living in the eastern part of Guangdong Province. For many years, the husband and wife suffered from multiple diseases. The husband, in particular, suffered from backaches and sought medical help for years without any results. He was unable to work. His illness was aggravated everyday with other complications, which made him very weak. The entire family's income relied upon their 20 year-old daughter's monthly wages, only several hundred Yuan. The family's living conditions and health were very poor.
In 2002, Jiang's faction intensified the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners. All levels of "610 Offices" set up brainwashing classes, attempting to persecute practitioners and force them to give up the practice. The husband of this family got a job working at the brainwashing facility to "monitor" practitioners. He witnessed how practitioners tried their best to be good people according to the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance," while the so-called " People's Police" beat the practitioners mercilessly for no reason at all. One Dafa disciple was beaten up to the extent that wounds and bruises were all over his body, yet the practitioner did not show any hatred or complaint. Seeing this, the man asked the police not to persecute practitioners to avoid accumulating karma (sins) for themselves. He also noticed that the practitioner's wounds disappeared in a short period of time through practicing Falun Gong exercises.
He was silently observing everything that happened in the brainwashing center. He discovered that practitioners require themselves to adhere to "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance." They faced the viciously violent people who lied to them and cursed at them with sincerity, compassion, forgiveness and forbearance. He finally realized how good Falun Dafa was. Falun Dafa can fundamentally change a person for good, while Jiang's faction is pushing ordinary people to an evil abyss and forcing people to hate "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance." If he had not seen these things with his own eyes, he would not dare to think that the national TV, newspapers and other media were used to fabricate rumors, frame, and bring false charges against Falun Gong in order to deceive the public. Compared to the "Great Cultural Revolution" he had experienced, this was more deceitful.
Thereupon he decided to protect practitioners, and he helped them many times. Once, a police officer from the "610 Office" wanted to persecute a practitioner using some excuse, but the man bravely stepped forward and provided evidence that the practitioner did not do what the police officer accused him of. Another time, some police were pulling a practitioner away, so the husband stood up and said: "Since you asked me to 'help and educate' them, I have the responsibility to protect this man's personal safety. I cannot let you casually pull him away and mistreat him."
The police retreated in fear by this upright action.
He kindly treated Dafa practitioners and defended justice. In about half a month, his complexion gradually improved, all his chronic and stubborn diseases vanished without any notice, and his whole body was full of energy. His experiences made him further believe what practitioners had told him: "It is the principle of nature that good will be rewarded with good and evil with evil. Treating Dafa kindly will be rewarded with boundless happiness."
He was extremely happy and went home with the facts and truth. He told his wife and daughter what he had witnessed, experienced and convinced the whole family that "Falun Dafa is good and Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance is good." Now his wife's diseases have disappeared without any medicine. The entire family is filled with happiness and harmony.
Once, while his wife was cooking, the pressure cooker suddenly exploded and the soup was all over the floor, yet his wife was standing beside the stove, safe and sound. A few months ago, his daughter crashed into a freight truck while she was riding a motorcycle. The motorcycle was knocked apart and she was thrown to the ground, yet she was not even slightly injured. The truck driver and the surrounding people were all amazed. However, their family knew what had happened and explained that it was the Master of Falun Dafa who has saved their entire family.

Mr. Guan Xuehe was a 50 year old ironsmith from Group Seven, Zhongxin Village, Bude Town, Renhe District, Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province. In November 2000, he was sentenced to one and half years of forced labor and "re-education" by Renhe District Police Department.
On February 15, 2003, Guan Xuehe was again arrested for distributing Dafa truth-clarification materials and sent to Tongde Police Station where he was beaten badly. The people involved in his arrest included: Zhang Youfu from Tongde Police Station, Chen Hu (a security guard from Bude Town), Yang Kai, Cui Fuli, Zhang Hongtai, Zhou Lurong and Song Qi'an (all of whom are from Renhe District Police Department).
On February 16, 2003, Guan Xuehe was sent to a detention center. That same night, he was transferred to another detention center. At the end of March 2003, he was sentenced to three years of forced labor. Before he was taken to the labor camp, he was brutally beaten by police at the detention center. The beating was so brutal that he could not even stand up.
While being detained in the Forth Brigade of Xinhua Labor Camp in Mianyang City, Sichuan Province, Guan Xuehe was often brutally beaten. Under the tremendous physical and mental persecution, he developed lung cancer around July 2004. The labor camp drew blood from him every other day in the name of "doing some tests on him." About half a month later, the camp authorities sent him home, fearing that he might die in the camp. After he returned home, at 8:00 on the morning of October 4, 2004, Guan Xuehe died in Chengdu City Hospital.
(Clearwisdom.net) 40-year-old practitioner Ms. Chen Lijun from Zhengzhou City, Henan Province, was detained twice at Shibalihe Forced Labor Camp in Zhengzhou City. During her detention at the forced labor camp Ms. Chen suffered from all kinds of torture, including "Tying the Ropes" (1). The prison guards and criminals punched her chest, abdomen and private parts. They stuffed human excrement, feminine napkins and dirty rags into her mouth. On many occasions, team leaders Zhou Xiaohong and Ren Yuanfeng incited drug addicts to torture Ms. Chen Lijun.
During her second term of detention at the forced labor camp, three drug addicts demanded that Ms. Chen meet with them in a room on the second floor of a building at the Shibalihe Forced Labor Camp. They wanted to talk to her about her absence at the morning exercises. They slapped Ms. Chen's face and punched and kicked her chest and back. As a result Ms. Chen developed a high fever that lasted for a month. Ms. Chen asked to see a doctor. The check-up showed that she had tuberculosis. Team leader Ren Yuanfang forced Ms. Chen Lijun to go home as well as to another practitioner's home. The prison guards extorted several thousand yuan for medical expenses from each of the two families. On September 7, 2004, Ms. Chen Lijun managed to escape from the hospital.
After Ms. Chen Lijun's escape, the Shibalihe Forced Labor Camp and other related personnel immediately began to quietly search for her. They wanted to recapture her since they were very much afraid that their evil deeds would be exposed. Because Ms. Chen's relatives were intimidated, they dared not take her in. She had to go to the homes of practitioners who had known her in the past.
Ms. Chen Lijun used to be 1.65 meters (about 5 ft 4 in) tall with a fair complexion. After her escape from the forced labor camp, her complexion was waxy yellow, her eyes were sunk deep into their sockets, and she suffered from a distended abdomen. She was skin and bones, her arms thinner than even a child's. She needed support just to walk. She was extremely weak and her memory was very poor. She seemed to be in a stupor and was in constant fear. Whenever she saw strangers she would become uneasy. Ms. Chen Lijun was afraid that she might be taken back to the camp, so she dared not remain in any one practitioner's home for too long and dared not publish the suffering she had experienced at the forced labor camp on the Internet. She feared even worse persecution and greater suffering. Ms. Chen died around 4 p.m. on September 29, 2004
After she passed away the Zhongyuan Police Substation of Zhengzhou City, the former "610 Office," and the Shibalihe Forced Labor Camp attempted to escape responsibility for Chen's death. They would not admit to the practitioners who had taken care of her or who had contact with her that they had anything to do with her death. These perpetrators of the persecution also maintained surveillance on some of the practitioners who were aware of the incident. Chen's body has been cremated.
Note:
(1) "Tying the Ropes": The police tie up the practitioner with a thin rope, circle the rope around his neck, and tie his hands behind his back. Then the police use all the force they can muster to tighten the rope. The rope becomes tighter and tighter around the body of the practitioner, making it more and more difficult for him to breathe. The pain is so intense that the practitioner sometimes loses control of his bladder. Sometimes the rope has been tightened enough to break a practitioner's arm.
(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Tan Guoyi, a practitioner from the City of Hegang in Heilongjiang Province, suffered constant harassment and persecution by the police. Mr. Tan died on July 3, 2004 because of the persecution he and his family faced. Mr. Tan was 67 years old.
On June 29, 2002, Chen Fenglian and Huo Fengyun from the Xin'an community, Dongshan district, Hegang city, reported Mr. Tan to the police. Officers from the Dongshan District Xinyi Police Station, Yang Maobiao, Wang Cai, and Xiao Chunquan, confiscated Tan's personal property and took him to the Hegang city second prison. Tan suffered from pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) while he was in prison and was sent to the hospital. Tan did not have money to have his illness treated and was sent home. Officers Yang Maobiao, Wang Cai, and Xiao Chunquan, often went to Tan's house at night to harass him. If Tan's family refused to open the door, the officers would threaten them with guns.
The two people who reported Tan to the police, Chen Fenglian and Huo Fengyun, went to Tan's house every other day and threatened that they would report him to the community twice daily. Chen and Huo also ordered people to break Tan's glass windows and ordered Tan's neighbors to monitor Tan and his family's activities. Tan lost the environment to study and do the Falun Gong exercises and couldn't afford a normal daily schedule. Tan missed his son, who was also a practitioner and who had been sentenced to nine years in prison because of practicing Falun Gong. Mr. Tan's fourth daughter was sentenced to 3 years in a force labor camp. Tan had many worries. The police were looking for his oldest daughter and his youngest daughter might also be arrested because of practicing Falun Gong. Mr. Tan has two young grandsons who need to be taken care of, and his wife was ill. Tan's health condition was getting worse and eventually caused his death on July 3, 2004.
(Clearwisdom.net) This year I turned 14 and finished middle school. When I was seven years old, my mother was fortunate to start practicing Falun Dafa and all her previous illnesses were cured without any medical treatment. My father also started practicing Falun Dafa two months after my mother. Before that, he never had a proper job and he always quarreled with my mother and greatly disturbed our family life. Even though I was young at the time, I already knew the pain and harm that the fights between my parents caused. After my father began Falun Dafa practice, he gave up all his bad habits and his temperament became more moderate. From that time on, our family lived in harmony and happiness.
After the persecution of Falun Dafa began on July 20, 1999, however, lawless personnel keep coming to disturb our family. My mother went to clarify the truth of Falun Dafa to the local government's "610 Office." However, they put her in jail for 22 days. My father also had to pay 1,350 yuan (1) to gain my mother's freedom. Afterwards, my father was kidnapped by the village government, detained for three days, and fined 200 yuan. In May 2000, my mother went to Tiananmen Square to appeal for Falun Dafa and she was put in jail. Then, the night before June 1, 2000, some lawless personnel deceived my father, saying he could go see my mother. They tricked him into going to the Xiaodiaoe brainwashing class.
After that, only my older brother and I were left at home by ourselves. Since my brother had to work, I was left alone at home. Knowing this, my 70-year-old grandmother locked up her house and came to live with me. My grandmother and I depended on each other, and our life was financially difficult. In autumn we raked leaves for extra money. We also carried our drinking water in from outside. My grandmother was very sick and her arm was also in pain. Because I was so young and I could only carry half a bucket of water at a time, we had to even wait for the passers-by to turn on the water for us.
Sometimes I missed my mother a lot and wanted to cry, though I worried that if my grandmother saw me like this she would feel grief. Therefore I would run outside of the village to cry in the fields. Sometimes when I think of my father and mother, I take our family photo and hug it.
At school, my classmates always mock and make fun of me. Someone asked, "Do you miss your mother?" I was in tears at that time and could not say a thing. It is hard to use words to express my thoughts. There were also people who said, "Your mother is only concerned about herself, and she does not care about you." Nevertheless I knew my mother's choice was right. She disregarded her own safety to let other people know that Falun Dafa and "Truth, Compassion, and Forbearance" are good; she stood up for it. I am proud of my mother's actions and I am moved that Falun Dafa practitioners gave up their lives to save others.

To the United Nations Human Rights Organization, the World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (WOIPFG), various charity organizations around the world, and to the International Red Cross:
My name is Wei Jianyu, 39 years old, from Zhaowu City, Fujian Province, China. I graduated from Tianjin University in 1986 and was a lecturer at Fujian Engineering Institute before I was unlawfully arrested for my practice of Falun Gong. I did not do anything against the law. Nevertheless, because I practiced Falun Gong and persisted in believing in the principles of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance," I have been persecuted.
Ever since July 20, 1999, when Falun Gong was first banned in China, I have been subjected to all kinds of persecution, such as illegal detention, home searches and a prison sentence. I hereby appeal to the United Nations Human Rights Organization, to all charity organizations around the world, and to all other human rights organizations, and I call on all people around the world to learn the truth of Falun Gong and help stop the Jiang regime from further persecuting Falun Gong. Following are detailed accounts of what happened to me.
On October 26, 1999, police took me away while I was practicing the Falun Gong exercises at June First Park in Fuzhou City. I was sent to a detention center and held there for 15 days, charged with "disturbing social order."
Afterwards, leaders from the school where I was working refused to let me teach my classes. Because of this unfair treatment, I went to the Beijing Appeals Office in December 1999 to petition for justice but was sent back under police escort. I was subsequently incarcerated in the No.1 Detention Center for one month. Later I was under strict surveillance by the school.
On April 19, 2000, police abducted me suddenly at work. They also searched my home. Since my petition to the state appeals office had brought me retaliation and not justice, I had decided to appeal to the United Nation Human Rights Organization. Police found a letter entitled "Open Letter to the United Nation Human Rights Organization" at my home. The letter bore the signatures of several practitioners. Because of this, I was sentenced to four years in prison. I served those four years and was released on April 18, 2004.
After I was released and returned home, the local police did not allow me to talk to others about Falun Gong and ordered me to inform them if I was going away to look for a job. I was innocent but had to serve four years in prison. Back in society, I still have no freedom of speech or movement like a normal person. The shadow of being arrested or my home being searched still hangs over me, which takes away my feeling of security. As a matter of fact, during the five years that have passed since July 20, 1999, countless practitioners, just like me, have been arrested, humiliated, beaten, sent to labor camps or prisons, have died as a result of torture, or have been murdered outright.
I love life and hoped to have a happy family, but, afraid of "guilt by association," my husband divorced me. I worked very diligently at school, but the school fired me for practicing Falun Gong. I value family relationships, but some of my relatives shun me for fear of being implicated. When my older brother saw that I was being persecuted and had nothing left, he disavowed our relationship and refused to acknowledge me. I had to return to my hometown and live with my 70-year-old mother, who was also a Falun Gong practitioner.
My circumstances bitterly disappointed my relatives and other kind people living under such terrorism. It would be a disaster to any country and her people that good people have to suffer such insane persecution. This persecution distorts and destroys human nature, swallows human conscience, and eventually pushes human beings to the brink of sanity.
Is it wrong for us who are responsible to society to report the true facts to the government departments concerned? Protecting human rights and upholding justice is not against the law but an act to protect the constitution and law. I realize the injustice to Falun Gong practitioners is not just an individual issue. Everyone with a human conscience has the responsibility to be concerned with Falun Gong and to help clarify the truth, because it affects all of humanity's moral standards. There is no national boundary to suppressing evil and promoting kindness. I feel, therefore, that I have a responsibility to appeal our cases of injustice to all related organizations in the world and to sue Jiang's regime for their unimaginable crimes.
To date, countless practitioners are still being detained and are suffering inhuman tortures. The lies and false accusations perpetrated by the Chinese media during the past five years have poisoned and deceived so many Chinese people, who, as a result of this deception, now hate Falun Gong. Therefore it is extremely urgent to let people know the truth of Falun Gong, to clear away the poisonous lies and to save innocent lives from destruction. I urgently call for help from the whole world.
The following are my experiences during the past several years.
1. A righteous Fa is widely accepted and respected
No matter where I am, in prison or in ordinary society, I have always followed the principles of not fighting back when being beaten, not talking back when being sworn at, and treating people with kindness. I firmly believe that good is rewarded with good and evil meets evil, and have earned the respect of all inmates and people around me. This principle resonates with people's kind nature. Our righteous dignity gained through cultivating a righteous Fa has won the respect of human hearts.
2. Suffering from cruel force-feeding
I protested the injustice at the detention center through a hunger strike. This was the only choice I had left after losing the freedom of speech and was locked up. I lost virtually all basic human rights. Even under such circumstances, I still tried my best to endure the hardships to maintain my own normal life while not affecting others negatively. It was not to be.
After several days of hunger strike, while my health was still normal, I was sent to the inmate hospital (Jianxin Hospital) and was forced to accept an intravenous infusion and the torture of force-feeding. A tube inserted through my nose would be left in my body for a week before exchanging it for a new one. The extreme pain made it impossible for me to sleep for days. The infusion would start in the morning and end in the evening, but I endured it all with a calm mind. Later, the nurses used the thickest tubes during force-feeding to torture me even further.
3. A Rocky Journey
After suffering four months of force-feeding, I was sent to Fujian Provincial Women's Prison in July 2001 and detained in the division reserved for people who had committed "Premeditated Murder." I continued to protest with a hunger strike. Led by Division Head Ding Xiaoqing, six or seven inmates, who were members of the activist committee, pushed me down to the ground and pried my mouth open with stainless steel spoons. Some inmates would chew the food in their mouths into pieces and then force the pieces into my mouth. Certain inmates would hold my head and pinch my nose shut while others held my legs and arms. I was tortured until I was unable to breathe. The food would be pushed down through my throat into my esophagus, which hurt very much. They also kept verbally abusing me. After several days of being force-fed like this, my teeth became loose and painful. I had to stop the hunger strike.
Then they began to brainwash me. The prison guard did not allow me to sleep and forced me to stand still day and night. They connected the brainwashing with the inmates' personal interests, such as a reduction in term or release home. This scheme encouraged the inmates to verbally abuse Falun Gong and to unmercifully torture me. Under Ding Xiaoqing's instigation, the inmates also began to beat me.
In order to reduce the inmates' involvement and to give them time to understand Falun Gong, I accepted "reformation" against my will. My temporary "reformation" had an extremely bad impact in society, which was irresponsible on my part. In fact, I was not genuinely compassionate, either. When the inmates were deceived by the lies and misunderstood the practitioners, I did not keep righteous thoughts to clarify the truth and clear up their misconceptions. I did not abide by "Tolerance," either, because I did not persist in the Truth, but chimed in with the wrong thoughts, against the facts.
My "reformation" was certainly not in line with the principle of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance." I felt I had strayed further and further away from my conscience. My health became worse and worse. I felt I had lost myself through my "reformation."
4. Finding my true self
I examined myself, "How can I let people know the truth when through my behavior I gave up the truth? The truth is holy and untarnished!" I corrected my errors in accepting the "reformation" and found my true self again.
In August 2002, I started a hunger strike again to erase my stain. Division Head Ding Xiaoqing ordered the inmates to force-feed me and forced me to stand straight for long periods of time as punishment. I was forced to stand 20 hours a day, from 4:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m., standing with both feet on the ground and not against a wall. The inmates on duty would closely watch me. I suffered beatings and verbal abuse from the inmates as well. Several days later, my legs became swollen and the bottoms of my feet were very painful. I endured all this with a calm mind. Two weeks later the swelling in my legs disappeared miraculously and the pain on the bottom of my feet disappeared as well. I realized my righteous thoughts had defeated the evil.
During the daytime, I was not allowed to talk to anyone about Falun Gong and the "personal cangues" followed me closely everywhere, even when I went to the toilet. At night, in order to keep me from meditating in bed, they arranged for two inmates to take turns watching me throughout the night. One inmate thought it was wrong to do so, so she told Ding Xiaoqing that she did not want to watch me during the night any more. Because of this, Ding Xiaoqing shocked her with an electric baton. Surprisingly, after the shock, the pain she used to have in her right arm disappeared. She was rewarded with good for her righteous thought and just action.
For a long time, I was isolated by the "personal cangues" and was often forced to stand for long periods of time and suffered frequent fiendish beatings from the most vicious convicted murderer, named Lin Biying.
5. Again subjected to persecution
In August 2003, I started another hunger strike, which lasted on and off over three weeks. I still worked every day like all the others. Division head Tang, though, ordered inmates to force-feed me. One month later, the inmates started to use the most ruthless method to force me to eat. I again had to end the hunger strike. Then I started vomiting. I would throw up everything I ate. Five or six days later I began to vomit phlegm and blood, which lasted nearly one week. I became skinny and exhausted. On November 10, 2003, I lost consciousness.
On November 11, after failing to rouse me, the authorities decided to send me to Jianxin Hospital. At 11:00 p.m. a hospital staff member announced that I was near death. My younger sister in Fuzhou City was notified to prepare my funeral. Early the following morning, November 12, I woke up on my own and saw that I lay in a hospital bed. Although I didn't know how I got to the hospital, I felt my body and my mind to be extremely relaxed, peaceful and in harmony. I did not have any symptom of tiredness as I had before. The inmates who took care of me told me what had happened to me over the previous few days.
Although I had held several hunger strikes and for long periods of time, the hospital didn't find any physical problems except that the potassium level in my electrolytes was a bit lower than normal. I only spent nine days in the hospital. Later, my health became better and better day by day.
Around April 13, 2004, just before the end of my prison term, people from the provincial "610 Office" started to brainwash me again. I was stretched out like a cross and handcuffed in front of a window. If I didn't acknowledge my guilt, I would not be allowed to use the restroom. Even after three days and nights of this torture, I didn't feel tired or uncomfortable.
6. In conclusion
Since July 20, 1999, I have endured four years in prison and have experienced life and near death. I feel even more urgently that we must call for an end to the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, because such evil acts toward good people cause the perpetrators to go toward their own destruction and throw the whole of society into a state of terror. How many practitioners have been beaten to death or wounded? Jiang Zemin and his followers have committed such heinous crimes against heaven's principle by implementing autocratic policies to callously persecute Falun Gong. We must bring Jiang Zemin to justice before the world based on the following charges:
A. Ignoring the law; using his position to spread lies and false accusations; poisoning the minds of common people
B. Brutal torture and savage genocide
Falun Gong practitioners have been deprived of their basic human rights through illegal detention; forced labor camp or prison incarceration; barbaric torture; being treated as if their lives have no value; being the target of a genocidal policy.
C. Incriminating Falun Gong and creating terrorism in society
Jiang is guilty of repeatedly broadcasting fabricated stories about Falun Gong such as murder, suicide and self-immolation to deceive the world. Using devious methods such as "guilt by association," many practitioners were forced into exile to avoid further persecution, destroying many happy families. These policies have fostered terrorism in society.
D. Defying Heaven and reason to incriminate good people
Jiang mobilized the entire society, with huge costs in money, manpower, and other resources, simply to frame and kill good people. This has disturbed the whole social order.
Jiang Zemin has committed innumerable crimes. Let's act together globally to bring Jiang to justice. The mighty powers of Falun Dafa are awakening all people with conscience. Facts are more powerful than words. Kind-hearted people, let us together raise our voice of justice: Life needs "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance." Falun Dafa belongs to the whole world!

My mother's name was Nie Huanying. She had retired from the daycare center at the University of Science and Technology Beijing. My mother started practicing Falun Gong in 1997. Prior to that, she suffered from a stroke, and the right half of her body was paralyzed. She was living on medicine and her monthly medical expenses were at least 500 Yuan (1). After practicing Falun Gong, my mother quickly recovered and stopped using any medicine within a month. As a result, she saved the state at least 40,000 Yuan in medical expenses over the seven years she practiced Falun Gong. My father also started practicing and changed dramatically. He became more confident and positive, telling everyone he knows that "practicing Falun Gong is great." Before my parents started practicing, their health conditions were not good, and our family also experienced financial difficulties. Practicing Falun Gong brought health back to my parents and happiness to our family. We became more active and positive towards our work and study. Practicing Falun Gong also made my parents better people, and they always contributed money and other items to areas suffering from natural disasters. Falun Dafa brought hope to our family.
Prior to July 20, 1999, when the persecution began, my mother practiced the exercises with fellow practitioners every morning and evening at the university campus. However, since the persecution started against Falun Gong, she lost this environment, and had to practice at home secretly. Practicing at home was not acceptable either. Officers from the Wudaokou Police Station visited our home requesting my mother to write a guarantee not to practice any more. My mother did not agree, and told them the benefits our family enjoyed physically and mentally from Dafa. After the police left, the local residents' committee kept talking to my mother to force her to give up the practice. Under high pressure, my mother wrote the Guarantee Statement. This caused great mental suffering for my mother. She became inactive, and could not study the Fa, or do the exercises as usual any longer.
In order to send me to brainwashing class, the local residents' committee, Wudaokou Police Station, and Haidian Police Department constantly sent people to my home to pressure my parents. Under such high pressure, my father once called the police station when I came home, and the police station director Zhang Wei, police officer Bo Li and two others arrested me and sent me to a brainwashing class. My parents were extremely distressed by the incident. They completely stopped studying the Fa and doing the exercises. They became pale, and the healthy look on their faces disappeared. Their physical health started rapidly deteriorating. This year, my mother suffered from a stroke again, and it soon turned into pneumonia and she passed away.
After my mother passed away, many people who did not know the truth said "the woman who practiced Falun Gong passed away." They did not understand how many physical and mental abuses my mother suffered over these years due to the persecution of Falun Gong.

Zhao Lin's mother, practitioner Xuan Honggui, started cultivating Falun Gong in the spring of 1998. She was reported to the authorities on December 7, 2001, was arrested and sent to the local Tiebei Detention Center. Officials from the Meihekou City Police Department, in conspiracy with the Hailong Town Police, are responsible for her arrest.
Ms. Xuan was sent to the Heizuizi Women's Forced Labor Camp in Changchun City to be further abused and mistreated until she was on the brink of death. Her family members were then notified to take her home. Her husband was deceived by Jiang's false propaganda, so he frequently scolded and beat her.

(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Su Qing (alias) is a Falun Gong practitioner from Shengli Petroleum Field of Dongying City, Shandong Province. Since Jiang's faction started the persecution of Falun Gong on July 20, 1999, she has suffered from all kinds of torture at various detention centers, dispatch offices and labor camps. The following are just several examples of the many tortures she has experienced over the last several years, along with her demonstration and narration.
In September of 1999, I was illegally detained at my own work unit. Because I firmly refused to give up practicing Falun Gong, the security guard punished me. I was forced to squat while holding my arms out parallel to the ground. My hips were not allowed to touch my feet and I had to stay for an extremely long time in this half-squatting position. It did not matter how many mosquitoes bit me or how uncomfortable my body was, I was not allowed to move. My body trembled uncontrollably. They not only used bright lights to shine right in my face to prevent me from closing my eyes, but also often threatened me, sending sparks flying from an electric baton and saying that if I did not keep the correct posture, they would shock me. This physical punishment lasted for two hours.

In February of 2002, while I was detained in the Shengli Petroleum Field's detention center, I refused to recite the detention rules. A female guard (the only female guard there) then made me raise both hands over my head and handcuffed them to the iron rail in an abandoned jail cell. It was winter and there was no glass in the windows and when the cold wind blew, my whole body trembled. Four days later, I was released from the handcuffs because they were afraid that my hands had become paralyzed. By that time, my hands, shoulders, and my whole body were all severely hurt and my hands had turned a purplish black color. My hands were numb for a long time afterwards and did not return to their normal color until after a very long time. (This picture doesn't begin to convey the pain that was caused by this torture.)
In November 2000, at the Dongcheng Detention Center in Beijing, I suffered a torture method called a "death twist." This torture tool was made from abandoned handcuffs wrapped with cloth so that they were not flexible and the two hands were locked together and immobilized. It was very painful every day and I could not lie down or sit without kindhearted people's help. I could also not use the restroom. After I went on a hunger strike for six days, they unlocked my hands. By that time my hands were completely numb.

In April of 2001, I was detained in Chaoyang Detention Center in Beijing. In order to protest the illegal detention, I went on a hunger strike. They tried to force-feed me, and I firmly resisted. During the struggle, I accidentally knocked my head against a pane of glass. The thick glass was broken into pieces and lay on the ground. My head had a gaping wound that later had to have twenty stitches. Blood was pouring out and spread into my hair, my clothing and the towel that they used to try to stop the bleeding. I was not allowed to go to the restroom. They then secured me to a bed board and continued the force-feeding. Because I had lost so much blood, I was injected with an unknown substance. They did not remove the force-feeding tube (for the convenience of the next forced-feeding) and my tongue tip could touch the feeding tube. Every time I swallowed, my throat hurt. It was extremely painful.
My legs were tied to a wooden stick tied under the bed board with rope while my arms were wrapped with 3-inch wide transparent tape and tied to another wooden stick placed under the bed board. Because my arms were tightly wrapped and bound, the blood circulation was completely blocked. This caused my fingers to swell until they turned purple. Because the air could not penetrate the transparent tape, my arms felt very uncomfortable. This method was used because it would not leave any kind of scar. However, it caused the skin between the tape wrappings to develop pus-filled blisters. Even today, three years later, the scars caused by this torture are still visible on my skin. There was a young woman there who also experienced this torture. When she was tied up with this transparent tape, her whole arms were filled with these yellow blister scars because there were gaps between the tape wrappings. The detention center's doctor angrily said, "The next time when using tape to tie people up, do not leave any gaps between the tape. These scars would then be prevented." They were afraid of leaving any evidence behind. Therefore in order to hide their crimes, he put some medicine on the scar areas.
The information above is a description of simplified versions of some of the torture methods that I personally experienced, but the pain and suffering felt during those tortures is very hard to describe in words. There are still many torture methods that we have not mentioned. However, I wanted to use my personal experience to expose just some of the methods that Jiang's faction uses to torture Falun Gong practitioners in China.

The Weifang City Labor Camp (also called the Changle Labor Camp) is located in the eastern suburb of Changle County Seat, about 30 km from Weifang City. Since July 20, 1999, this labor camp has become used by Jiang and his regime instrument for persecuting Falun Gong. Director Xu Lihua, male; Deputy Director Zou Jintian, male; Management Office Chair Lu Yibo, male; Education Office Chair Zhu Anle, male; No. 2 Ward Leader Ding Guihua; Deputy Leader Zhu Weile; Former Ward Head (under the Leaders) Liu Jianguang, male; and police officers Han Huiyue, male, Liu Anxing, male, and others have either personally carried out or ordered prisoners to carry out the mental and physical torture of more than 200 male Falun Dafa practitioners detained in that facility.
Many torture techniques are used. Practitioners are shocked with multiple high-voltage electric batons and beaten with metal bars, wooden sticks, table legs, bed boards, and leather belts. Such treatment resulted in the death of practitioner Mr. Liu Shuchun. In his forties, he was from Changyi City. In the cold of winter, they soak practitioners in a large tub of water for long periods of time, dunking their heads under water to almost drown them, hanging practitioners upside down and then dipping their heads in the water until they choke. In winter, they drag practitioners to the bathroom, pouring cold water onto their bare bodies, then opening the windows or turning on electric fans. They tightly squeeze practitioners' private parts or whip their private parts with rulers or wooden boards, making the whole area swollen. They flick practitioners eye balls, whip their eyes with wet towels, burn practitioners' flesh with electric irons, use pliers to pinch the flesh, poke needles in the thighs and use scissor tips to scratch the bottoms of their feet. They turn tables upside down to use as a Tiger Bench; hang practitioners by their handcuffs; tie them up with ropes or tape; force them to sit with their legs straight for a long time, both hands holding their toes, while the police sit on the practitioners' heads or shoulders, severely injuring practitioners' backs. They deprive practitioners of sleep for days at a time; inject them with nerve-damaging drugs; restrict their access to a toilet; make practitioners soil their pants; force them to do innumerable squats; force them to do exercises, march or do aerobics in hot weather; and intentionally get them sunburned by requiring them to do heavy labor for up to 15 hours per day.

Using upside down tables they tie up practitioners using it as a "Tiger Bench." The knees are tied up tight, hands taped together to the toes, and then the feet and buttocks are raised with two folding stools causing the bones to feel like they are cracking. Practitioner Mr. Jiang Guobo was tortured like this for an entire day.
In the cold winter of 2000, in order to brainwash more practitioners, four prisoners stripped one practitioner at a time and carried him to the bathroom, where they held him upside down and lowered him headfirst into the water for several minutes. They would pull the victim up and ask if he would cooperate with the brainwashing. If the answer was, "No," they would dunk him headfirst into the water again. Mr. Yao Hexing passed out while being tortured like this. It took him a long time to regain consciousness.

(Clearwisdom.net) On October 7 and 8, the Japan Federation of Bar Associations (JFBA) held its 47th convention on the protection of human rights at Miyazaki-ken, Japan. This is JFBA's most important annual meeting. This year, more than 1200 human rights attorneys from across Japan attended this convention.

Falun Gong practitioners in Japan considered this as a good opportunity to introduce Falun Gong and expose the persecution to Japan's legal system. It also provided a good chance to prepare a lawsuit against Jiang in Japan. Therefore, prior to the convention, practitioners made all kinds of preparations for clarifying the facts to the attendees.
On October 5 and 6, just before the convention began, practitioners arrived at the city of Miyazaki-ken and introduced Falun Gong and revealed the persecution facts to the convention organizers, who eventually agreed to allow practitioners to put the truth-clarifying materials in places where attendees could freely pick them up.

On October 7, 2004, when the convention began, Falun Gong practitioners peacefully waited outside the convention hall. Because lawyers in Japan hold very prominent social positions, it is normally very hard to meet them. Now, all human rights lawyers throughout the country would gather together here, practitioners wished to inform them about Jiang group's human rights violations against innocent Falun Gong practitioners, so that they would have a correct understanding about persecution and carry a the righteous attitude toward it. Out of practitioners' expectation, on the morning of October 7, practitioners fairly easily handed out the prepared more than 600 copies of truth-clarifying materials to those attorneys.
On October 8, practitioners mostly utilized the convention break period to clarify the truth to those lawyers face to face. Some attorneys said that they received the materials a day ago and expressed their support for what Falun Gong practitioners have been doing. Some attorneys read the Japanese version of article, "Historic Trial" and other literature provided by practitioners and expressed their wish to resist the persecution. In addition, they raised lots of good points in terms of how to effectively raise the awareness to the Japanese public and have more people pay attention to the persecution. All most all lawyers who listened to practitioners' introduction and explanation expressed their understanding and support to practitioners.

On October 9, those lawyers went sightseeing at the beach. Practitioners also rent vans to go to the attraction points and practiced the exercises to display the beauty of Falun Gong. Many attorneys expressed their admiration toward practitioners' persistent effort.

At the same time, from October 6 to 10, some other practitioners held activities on the busiest streets in the City of Miyazaki-ken to introduce Falun Gong to the public. Although only a number of practitioners clarified the facts on the streets, they cooperated well together. Some displayed banners, some demonstrated the exercises, and others distributed flyers. Practitioners all felt that local citizens are quite simple and pure and they are very pleased to receive Falun Gong truth-clarifying newsletters. Although it rained all day on October 8 due to the typhoon, the truth-clarification was not affected at all. In the rain, practitioners' banners looked even more colorful and eye-catching.
(Clearwisdom.net) On the 16th of October 2004, visitors and residents of Gothenburg enjoyed the annual Cultural Night in which dance, music, art, theatre and other forms of cultural activities are displayed. Falun Gong practitioners are a regular part of this event and in the program this year they introduced the five sets of Falun Gong exercises that have benefited 100 million people in more than 60 countries around the world. They also displayed traditional Chinese culture by performing a gracious lotus dance and other traditional Chinese dances. In between performances, a slide show informed people about the systematic campaign of persecution that has been taking place over the last five years in China.
Falun Gong is not only a part of Chinese culture. Judging by its popularity outside of China, it is already a part of many cultures of the world. How could former Chinese leader Jiang Zemin initiate a brutal persecution of people who cherish this peaceful practice, which not only has roots in Chinese culture, but also emphasizes self improvement?

This provided an opportunity for the tram passengers to read the banners and watch the Falun Gong exercises. Practitioners were delighted seeing how interested people were in Falun Gong and how gratefully they received our leaflets. Many people inquired about the persecution and asked for details about local practice sites where they can learn the Falun Gong exercises. Many people came over and signed the petitions of their own accord or had a chat with practitioners about the human rights abuses that are happening to people who practice Falun Gong in China.

NEW YORK - On Sept. 30, Jianfen Zhou of Queens called her family in China and received heartrending news: her little sister was in a labor camp. Her 27-year-old sister, whose English name is Theresa, was arrested for placing flyers about the persecution of Falun Gong in mailboxes. According to Jianfen's parents, Theresa, a graduate student at Shanghai Medical University, has been sentenced without trial to one year in the Moganshan Labor Camp.
Moganshan Labor Camp is part of China's Laogai system. According CNN, this system of at least 1,100 known forced-labor camps is driven by hard-line ideology, Chinese Communist Party directives and the whims of local cadres. It is designed as a repressive mechanism to control and, in effect, eliminate anyone whose political, religious or societal views differ from those of the Communist Party.
Before the arrest, Theresa was under pressure from her mother to stop practicing Falun Gong. According to the New York-based Falun Dafa Information Center, in July 1999, then Chinese President Jiang Zemin started a campaign to crush the meditation practice Falun Gong with defamation, lengthy prison sentences, and torture. He utilized China's state-run media to spread anti-Falun Gong propaganda. Many Chinese citizens became afraid to practice or be associated with those who still did.
Taken aback, Jianfen's parents admitted that before they did not believe all the stories of Falun Gong practitioners being tortured and abused. However, they realized the reality of the persecution when they witnessed police officers breaking into their home, taking away Falun Gong books and a computer Theresa had worked on.
Jianfen stated, "The persecution can only exist under cover... the so-called law to attack Falun Gong practitioners violates every law in China, including the statutes of the Chinese Constitution."
The Chinese Consulate General of New York has not returned phone calls regarding Theresa's situation and Jianfen's appeal.
The Story
Prior to learning of Theresa's arrest, Jianfen received a call from her cousin in Ohio. She relayed a message from Jianfen's mother, indicating not to call or email her parents in China because it was now a very "sensitive" time.
Worried, Jianfen called several times over the next few months. Each time her parents would say "everything is fine". When Jianfen asked to speak with Theresa they would respond "Oh, no need to talk to her."
It was not until almost four months later that Jianfen's father told her, "I know you care about your sister... let me tell you, she was arrested in May." Her father said he could not tell her before because spreading the news of the arrest would result in worse consequences for Theresa in the labor camp.
However, Jianfen's parents did not give up on Theresa and pleaded for Jianfen to spread the news of their daughter's unlawful treatment. Such an approach, though just and rational, is unheard of in China. Based on other reports of persecution from the Falun Dafa Information Center, whenever groups or individuals are targeted by the Chinese government or powerful officials, their families and friends will not visit them. Even their immediate family will treat them as outcasts, in fear of pressure from corrupt officials or the Chinese government.
The Cause
Periodically, Jianfen's parents contact officials within their local government in China and each time, to their dismay, the officials are unable to do anything. They reply that the order to arrest Falun Gong practitioners comes from "the higher ups".
Working diligently to expose her sister's grim position, Jianfen has been contacting U.S. officials and handing out flyers describing her sister's situation.
Currently, human rights organizations have been making phone calls to the Moganshan Labor Camp in China, letting them know that the world is aware of Theresa's unlawful imprisonment. Because of outside pressure, Jianfen's father can now make monthly visits to his daughter, which is unimaginable for most relatives of Falun Gong practitioners in labor camps.

"Uncompromising Courage" is being held at York University in Toronto. The
exhibition of 40 pieces by more than 20 artists was officially inaugurated on
October 12 in both the Akasa and Eleanor Winters Galleries on the second floor
of the Student Center, where there is also a student lounge and food area. The
exhibition was sponsored in part by the Falun Dafa Association of Canada and
co-sponsored by the Friends of Falun Gong and the Association for Promoting
"Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance."

The exhibition is divided into four parts. Part I "Heaven and Humanity in Harmonious Unity" and Part II "Trials and Tribulations" are displayed in the Akasa Gallery. Parts III "Uncompromising Courage" and IV "The Righteous Will Definitely Triumph" are at the Eleanor Winters Gallery.
On the afternoon of October 12, artist and professor Zhang Kunlun, along with
participating artists Ms. Wang Weixing from the USA and Catherine from Ottawa,
unveiled the sculptures "Cage," "Death Posture" and "Portrait of Lord Buddha."
Professor Zhang, having personally experienced torture inside China's labor camps,
first explained the reasons for the exhibition and the joys and sorrows he had
experienced in bringing it together. Professor Bruce Parsons, who teaches
painting at York University, then spoke on the importance of the works and
encouraged his students to learn about Falun Gong. He said, "This exhibition is
very important. It can help students understand what is going on and is a very
good opportunity for them to learn about Falun Gong." He was very pleased to
have the opportunity to present these works to his students. When the other
artists unveiled "Cage" and "Death Posture" in the Akasa Gallery, Professor
Zhang was moved to tears when he saw "Death Posture." The artist is a good
friend of the professor. The professor said that his friend is a kind-hearted
person. When she learned that Falun Gong practitioners in China are subjected to
such torture, she created this work. The audience gave the professor encouraging
applause. Several media representatives also came to interview the artists.

The second opening ceremony was held at the Eleanor Winters Gallery. The curator of this gallery was of immense help. From designing the show itself to transporting the art works and installing the paintings, she helped make the exhibition a magnificent one. One of the sponsors unveiled Professor Zhang's work "Portrait of Lord Buddha." When the yellow silk covering was removed from the sculpture, everyone present gasped in admiration. They walked up to take a closer look at the grandeur, benevolence and lifelike qualities achieved by this highly skilled craftsman. The professor explained that he used to be an atheist. The principles of Falun Dafa changed him. After having gone through so many experiences, he had to change his mind about not believing in God. So he used the language of art--sculpture--to portray the most benevolent god he could imagine. His words brought a round of sincere applause. Visitors then had the opportunity to socialize and enjoy the refreshments. Many students came to visit the exhibition.
Teachers and students at York University in Toronto offered much encouragement and support for this art exhibition. York is a renowned university with a first class art department. One professor enthusiastically helped contact and arrange for Professor Zhang's impromptu painting session in the Art Department on October 13. Professor Zhang painted three works that day, and he presented one of them to the president of York University in appreciation of the university's independence and broadmindedness.
Additional exhibition sponsors include: The York University Centre for Human Rights and Equity, Unified Communications, The Epoch Times, and New Tang Dynasty Television Canada. Their support contributed to the success of the exhibition. Appreciation is also due to student volunteers who helped receive the visitors.

(Clearwisdom.net) I am a Falun Dafa practitioner from Shandong Province. After beginning practicing Falun Dafa in 1996 and having understood the true purpose of being human -- to return to one's original, true self, my entire family benefited enormously, and my chronic migraines also disappeared.
On 20 July 1999, Jiang's regime started the systematic persecution of Falun Dafa. Even though I understood that the propaganda in the media was false, and many Dafa disciples stepped forward to validate the Fa with various means, I didn't step forward out of fear and concern for my own issues. After studying the Fa I got rid of some of my attachments.
One morning in May of 2000 I was going to practice the Falun Dafa exercises in the square and was arrested before I got there. I didn't do well in captivity. On October 1, 2000, I went to Tiananmen Square and yelled "Falun Dafa is Great!" from my heart. The police arrested me and put me into a detention center. I protested the illegal imprisonment with a hunger strike and was released unconditionally with Master's compassionate assistance.
I should have stepped forward to validate the Fa at critical times. There is no reason to get arrested while validating the Fa. Master said in "Rationality,"
"Getting arrested is not the purpose. Validating Dafa is what's truly magnificent." (Essential for Further Advancement II)
Master also instructed us in the article "Drive Out Interference,"
"The Fa can break all attachments, the Fa can destroy all evil, the Fa can shatter all lies, and the Fa can strengthen righteous thoughts." (Essential for Further Advancement II)
I calmed myself down and studied the Fa, became aware of my fundamental attachments, did my best to assimilate to the Fa. Those deviated opinions acquired in this lifetime and those foreign, bad thoughts were continuously cleared out. Every time I studied the Fa, I got rid of contamination at the microscopic level and became more mature on the road of validating the Dafa.
Though I did some Dafa work later on, I was lazy when it came to studying the Fa, doing the exercises and clarifying the truth. Sometimes I put off Dafa work, and had the mentality of getting the job done, instead of figuring out what was the best way to validate the Fa and meet our historic responsibilities as Fa-rectification period practitioners. I even tried to find some so-called excuses to cover up my thoughts. It was the manifestation of demon nature and notions. It was what the old forces desired. Sometimes I can realize it, and sometimes I can't. Either way I failed to eliminate it with righteous thoughts. In "Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Philadelphia, U.S.A.", Master said,
"Your righteous thoughts and everything you accomplish come from the Fa, so no matter how busy you are, don't neglect Fa-study."
After I studied the Fa, I also understood the urgency and the importance of clarifying the truth and offering salvation to living beings. What we are saving is not a single person, but a representative of a cosmic body. In "Teaching the Fa at the Washington, D.C. Fa Conference" Master said,
"This is why each Dafa disciple needs to realize the importance of clarifying the truth. This, more than anything, is what you should do with all your effort, and it's the most magnificent.... Every single Dafa disciple needs to do this. Don't miss a single opportunity."
To clarify the truth and offer salvation to living beings are great and sacred tasks. They need to be performed in a dignified manner and with righteous thoughts and conduct. Wherever we clarify the truth, with righteous thoughts, we should eliminate all the forces that persecute Dafa and to let the sentient beings there understand the truth so that they will be saved. When my heart was pure I could feel that the evil in other dimensions could be eliminated instantly, and the truth clarification progressed very well.
In "Teaching the Fa at the 2003 Atlanta Fa Conference" Master said,
"Also, with those people that you run into by chance, who you run into in daily life, and the people you run into at work, you should clarify the truth to all of them."
I have truth clarification materials with me all the time. I would start a conversation and find a topic to clarify the truth when I met somebody. While I was talking with him, I would try to find where his problem was and talk about his attachments, and gave him truth clarification materials after the conversation. I took notes and wrote down names and addresses when I talked to people. I also collect names from news magazines and books, and mail truth clarification materials to them.
In the last stage of Fa-rectification we should spend more time to study the Fa, let go attachments, clarify the truth whenever possible, and offer salvation. We should perform the three things [study the Fa, explain the facts and send forth righteous thoughts] that Master had assigned, no matter what is happening around us in society.

(Clearwisdom.net) I am a 40-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner from Hubei Province. My husband was tortured to death simply for his insistence in practicing Falun Gong. I would like to share my experience with fellow practitioners on this issue.
At 8 pm on October 30, 2003, a group of policemen came to seize my husband and take him to a brainwashing center. After being dragged, pulled and pushed around by the policemen he started to continuously vomit a lot of blood. He died at the hospital at around 8 o'clock on October 31. Sometime around February and March of 2004, I did not have a righteous mind or righteous actions. I was unable to escape the interference and feared the evil. Later after I shared my experiences with practitioners from different areas, I realized that disclosing the injustice against my husband would help save sentient beings. Since I've started to think this way, I have felt a lot better and my righteous thoughts have returned.
I wanted to talk about Falun Gong and the true reasons behind the persecution to upper level cadres, so I started by talking about Falun Gong to the section District Party committee, police station, court, and procuratorate. The district "610 Office" refused to listen to my appeal and told me that if I disagreed with their views then I should go and appeal to the higher court. I could see that this was an excellent opportunity to inform them with the true facts about Falun Gong. I thought that I should tell people working at every level how my husband was persecuted to death by a township official simply because he wished to practice Falun Dafa so as to be a good person.
On May 13th of 2004, I went to visit the Municipal government, City National People's Congress members, municipal public security bureaus, city politics and the law committee of the "610 Office." When I went to talk to the reception of the "610 Office," the Section Chief Mr. Ho said, "You are very brave. You are the first one to come and appeal." I told them that my husband had not done anything wrong and was a kind hearted man. I also told them that there is nothing wrong in adhering to Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance. Mr Ho then told me that I shouldn't go elsewhere and that I should just go back home. After I listened to what he said, I became more determined and steadfast to tell people what had happened to my husband and that Falun Gong is a peaceful practice for the mind and body. I sent forth righteous thoughts on my way to every office. After I had spoken to them, some people showed sympathy and some said that since our government does not allow it I should stop practicing. I told them that by law all citizens have freedom of belief. Is it really against the law to believe in Buddha and to want to upgrade one's moral standard?
On July 2, the provincial and city police took a picture of me displaying a list of the people who are responsible for persecuting those who practice Falun Gong, whilst crying out against the injustice carried out upon my husband. Regardless of whether they were city police or provincial police, if they wanted to read materials about Falun Gong then I would give them some material detailing the facts of my husband's death. All I did was invite anyone with a kind heart to speak a fair word about practitioners, good people who live their lives following Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance. Once I had provided them with this opportunity they all took some Falun Gong informational materials.
Later on July 4, before going to the district party committee to make a complaint to the higher authorities, the provincial and city police took away my three Falun Gong truth clarification boards. They went on to say, "It was a good job we confiscated those boards. Why were you hanging them in the street?" This is the first time such a thing has taken place in any city or province. The provinces and cities criticized the district magistrate, who criticized the mayor who in turn criticized the military unit secretaries. Now whenever they see me hang up the list of those people responsible for the persecution, the authorities immediately tear it down.
The City official came to investigate and asked me what I wanted to achieve by hanging up such a list. I told them that it was the only way to appeal due to the fact that the bureaucrats have shielded themselves from the public and that the people no longer have a place to appeal. Hanging the list would allow people to make up their mind whether or not my husband's death was a just act. Later the investigator told me that the list was being used to publicize Falun Gong and that I was not allowed to display it. I told them that this was only because the cadres are afraid that others will find out about their unlawful acts. The list simply discloses those people who have committed unlawful acts against Falun Gong. If they had not persecuted good people, what would they be afraid of?
The evil is afraid of our righteous thoughts and actions. This is only my understanding, please point out anything wrong.

I was born and raised in a poor family in Shaodong, Hunan Province, and throughout my long life's journey, I felt that I had not achieved anything, and that my life had been glum and empty. In my agony, I always complained about things, and blamed God for being unfair to me.
I suffered from all kinds of tribulations, and my whole body was severely ill. As a middle-aged person, I also suffered from stubborn colonitis. In an attempt to heal my illnesses I spent a large amount of money, but my health continued to worsen. When I was nearing the point of losing hope, a kind-hearted person told me about Falun Gong, and advised me to practice it.
During the past several years, the media in Mainland China influenced me so much. Practice Falun Gong? At the time, I thought that was a "frightful" thought, and I firmly refused. After a period of time, my health continued to decline, and that kind-hearted person again advised me to practice Falun Gong, and gave me the book Zhuan Falun. I thought, well, my health has already fallen to this stage, so I guess I could try to read the book. After finishing the reading, I realized how great Falun Gong is! Great! The book teaches people to be kind, to become better people, to follow the standard of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance," to cultivate the mind-heart nature, to pay little attention to fame and gain, to purify one's heart, and to raise our moral standards. It is nothing like what has been said on television in China! Those are lies deceiving the citizens. The difference is like black and white!
Through studying the law and principles, I have realized the meaning of life and the purpose of being human, and figured out the answers to problems that I always wanted to know. By placing strict demands on myself and following Teacher Li's standards, I have felt Dafa's divinity reflected onto my body. My illnesses, that were incurable with medicine, were now being cured. My body was returning to its normal state and wounds in my heart were also healing.
Although I only recently began practicing Falun Gong, I feel very fortunate, as it is hard to find such a good thing in our society these days. I will treasure the opportunity and do my best to practice diligently!

1. [Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Falun Dafa Practitioners Clarify the Truth at Qianshan Scenic Area on October 1, 2004
On October 1, 2004, Falun Dafa practitioners from Anshan went to a scenic tourist attraction in Qianshan and clarified the truth, even though there were many police vehicles and officers patrolling the area. Practitioners put up banners and posters on lamp poles along the major streets. The posters contained information on tortures, the staged self-immolation, as well as slogans such as "Falun Dafa is good." Practitioners did so in front of many tourists. They even clarified the truth to the staff who saw them put up the posters. Not only did they frighten the evil, they also saved many sentient beings.
2. [Zhucheng City, Shandong Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Zhan Haigang Being Tortured at Changle Forced Labor Camp
Mr. Zhan Haigang graduated from a polytechnic school. He is about 30 years old, and is from Zhucheng City, Shandong Province. He has been illegally detained at Weifang Labor Camp (also known as Changle Forced Labor Camp) since 2001. At the labor camp, he was subjected to torture such as being shocked with electric batons, forced to squat down for long periods of time, deprived of sleep, and forced to stand for long periods of time. One guard, Liu Anxin, is particularly cruel. He kept Mr. Zhan awake for nearly an entire month. During that time, Liu often hit Mr. Zhan with the bottoms of his shoes. Liu also had several inmates attempt to suffocate Mr. Zhan by vicious means. Because of the sleep deprivation, Mr. Zhan's face has turned a black and purple color.
Persecutor Liu Anxin is head of the second squadron of No. 2 brigade at Weifang Labor Camp. He is guilty of torturing many Falun Dafa practitioners, and is extremely barbaric.
3. [Beijing] Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Wang Fenglong Sentenced to Two and a Half Years in Prison
Mr. Wang Fenglong is a Falun Dafa practitioner from Guce Village, Chengguan Township, Fangshan District of Beijing. He was illegally sentenced to two and a half years in prison.
4. [Liaoning Province] University Student Dou Wenqiang is Detained After Being Forced to Drop Out of School
Mr. Dou Wenqiang was an engineering student from Class98 at Shenyang University of Technology. He is from the town of Zhujiang, Pukou District, Nanjing City. Because he practiced Falun Dafa, he was persecuted. It is said he had been detained both at a forced labor camp and a mental hospital. He resumed his studies a year later, and Mr. Dou continued to clarify the truth about Falun Dafa. It is said he was recently arrested again after being forced to drop out of the university.
5. [Suihua City, Helongjiang Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Zhang Xiaoping Arrested, A Truth-clarifying Materials Printing Site is Destroyed
Around eight o'clock on the morning of August 6, police destroyed a truth-clarifying materials printing site in Suihua City. Practitioner Zhang Xiaoping was taken away by two police officers from Dongfeng Police Station, and another female practitioner was able to escape. Some equipment and money were confiscated. Details will be investigated.
6. [Jiamusi City, Helongjiang Province] Falun Dafa Practitioners Mr. Wang Jiping and Ms. Zhao Wenlin Arrested For Clarifying Facts About Falun Gong
Mr. Wang Jiping is a doctor from No. 224 Military Hospital in Jiamusi City, Helongjiang Province. He and his wife Ms. Zhao Wenlin went to Baoquanling County to clarify the truth and pass out flyers on Falun Dafa. They were reported and arrested by police. Ms. Zhao is currently being detained at Baoquanling Detention Center, and Mr. Wang was sent back to No. 545 army of People's Liberation Army in Jiamusi City. Details will be investigated.

7. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Huang Yongchuan Detained at No. 3 Detention Center
Mr. Huang Yongchuan was a truck driver at Jilin City Transportation Company. He was fired from his job because he insisted on practicing and validating Falun Dafa. In addition, he was sentenced to one year in prison. Mr. Huang is currently detained at the Jilin City No. 3 Detention Center.
8. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Police Fail in Attempt to Arrest Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Li Zhixiu
At around 3:00 p.m. on September 24, 2004, police from Baishazhou Police Station of Wuhan raided the home of Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Li Zhixiu on Lujia Street. They tried to abduct Ms. Li, but Ms. Li resisted using righteous thoughts. With the help of her family, the police failed to arrest her.
9. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Details on the Arrest of Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Li Xihui
Ms. Li Xihui, 42, is a model Communist Party Member at Sichuan People's Broadcasting Station. She is also a member of Communist Party Committee there. In late August this year, she was arrested at her home after being followed by members of the National Security Bureau. She was first detained at Pi County Detention City, and then transferred to Xinjin Detention Center.
The persecutors fabricated rumors saying that Ms. Li was a person in charge of Falun Gong, and that she has a member list with three hundreds names, etc. Using those excuses, Ms. Li's workplace was also implicated. Employees at the radio station lost their three-year bonuses. As a result, her employer has established a "collaboration team," and for the last month or so people have taken turns every day in trying to convince Ms. Li to give up her belief in Falun Dafa. However, Ms. Li has refused to answer any questions.
A few days ago, assistant station manager Xie Shaoqiu threatened Ms. Li, "You will be sentenced to prison if you still refuse to talk." But Ms. Li did not waver. Xie Shaoqiu was previously rewarded for aiding in the persecution of Falun Gong.

On September 19, 2004, they went to Zhanjia Village, in the town of Huajia, to distribute Falun Gong flyers. They were discovered by Sun Liangchen, a local village head, who tried to extort 1000 Yuan (1) from them and was refused. Practitioners were detained at the Huajia police station that night and were sent to the county police station the next day. They are currently being detained at the county detention center. A school-aged girl is now left at home to care for herself.

Facts of the Persecution
1) At Harbin Forced Labor Camp for Drug Addicts in Heilongjiang Province, Policeman Li Quanming went out of his way to torture Falun Dafa practitioners. Policeman Liu Zhujie followed suit. They did not let other policemen know of the atrocities they committed towards Dafa practitioners. Policeman Dong Shaoxing treated Dafa practitioners brutally, slapping them on their faces and dragging them down staircases. Policeman Wang Haiying spread slander and libel about Falun Dafa in order to get promoted. Policeman Deng Yuelu deliberately made things difficult for Dafa practitioners. Policeman Shi Shuai slandered Dafa. Policeman Niu Xiaoyun played a key role in persecuting Dafa practitioners. Policeman Wang Limei orchestrated the "transformation campaign" to force Dafa practitioners to abandon their belief in Dafa, and policeman He Qiuyjiang brutally beat Dafa practitioners. All these policemen are receiving karmic retribution for their evildoings.
2) Falun Dafa practitioner Deng Hui, from Jianshui County, Yunnan Province, was illegally sentenced to two years of imprisonment for reading Zhuan Falun when he was working in Kunming City, Yunnan Province. His wife, Wei Jixian, was also sentenced to one-year of imprisonment because of his arrest. After serving his sentence in the Yunnan Province Second Forced Labor Camp, Deng Hui's sentence was illegally extended for another eight months, to April 2004. After his release, he was forced by the Jianshui County "610 Office" to go back to his hometown, Zutangzi Village in Cha Ke Township, Jianshui County, to do farm work under surveillance. In July 2004, Deng Hui gave the Party Committee Secretary of the township a truth-clarifying VCD. He was reported and the County "610 Office" and the Police Department Political Security Section abduct him, and took him to the county brainwashing center. Deng Hui refused to give in, and was released in three days. On September 17, the county "610 Office" abducted Deng Hui again, and this time, they sent him directly to the Yunnan Second Labor Camp located in Dapingba Township in Lufeng County, Yunnan Province, for two years of forced labor.
3) There have been quite a few cases of severe persecution and harassment of Falun Dafa practitioners in Jingzhou City, Yi County, Liaoning Province since September 2004. The head of the Yi County Police Department, Yang Lidong, intensified the persecution of Dafa practitioners. He ordered searches of practitioners' homes and the abduction of practitioners. From the night of August 26 through the night of September 25, in Chengguan Township of Yi County, several Dafa practitioners' homes were searched. During the search of her home, practitioner Jiang Yanling left using her righteous thoughts. Several practitioners were abducted. They are: Wang Furei, He Chengshu, Liu Yanmig, Jiang Yanli, Liang Chengdong, Li Hongman, Lin Chunzhi, Guo Guixiang, Wu Fengyan, Huang Xiaojuan, her daughter, and her father, who was visiting her at the time.
4) A few details of the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners conducted by policemen and thugs in Panjin Forced Labor Camp, Liaoning Province are available. The director of the Management and Supervision Division, Tang Xiaoqiang, claimed that he needed to improve management. He employed thugs as guards and instigated them to monitor and torture Dafa practitioners. Several notorious thugs are: Liu Hailong, Wu Chenzhi, and Cao Bing.
5) Authorities in Xinhua Forced Labor Camp, Sichuan Province, instigated criminal inmates to torture Falun Dafa practitioners, and several practitioners were tortured to death. Several others were persecuted to a point of mental collapse. Criminal inmate Zhao Taiguo used to be a thief, and had been sentenced to forced labor several times. In 2001, he was sentenced to two years of forced labor for aggravated burglary. He was released in 2002 before his sentence expiration, in return for brutally persecuting Dafa practitioners. In 2003, he was again sentenced to forced labor for aggravated burglary. In order to avoid labor work, under the policemen's instigation, he unscrupulously persecuted Dafa practitioners using all kinds of physical tortures, such as depriving them of sleep and the use of restrooms, forcing them to stand still in a military posture for a long period of time, hurling insults, and beating them. The intention was to use physical torture to force practitioners to give up their belief (so-called "transformation"). In the Second Team of Division Six, Zhao Taiguo's loud insults towards Dafa practitioners are heard everyday.
Chapter 2. Dafa Gives Me a Second Life
a) Experiencing a Miracle
I had planned to visit the Shizishanzhuang Resort with my son's teacher Meng Yurong, her Taiwanese friend, and my aunt on March 8, 1999. That morning when I got up, I felt a lot of pressure on my face and I was running a fever. I felt very uncomfortable. I looked into the mirror and was startled. My whole face was swollen and red. What should I do? I rinsed my face with cold water, but it didn't help. It's almost 11 o'clock. My aunt was waiting for me to pick her up at home, and Ms. Meng had already gone to the Shizishanzhuang Resort. What should I do? I called my good friend's cell phone, "You told me to practice Falun Gong. Now my face has become swollen. People are waiting for me, but I can't go out." She said, "It's a good thing. Teacher is adjusting your body." I had no choice but to go out as I had planned. On our way, my aunt asked, "Did you apply blush today? You look so beautiful." She didn't know my face was hot and swollen. Hearing her question, I felt better. It showed I was the only person who could feel the symptoms from my face. Other people could just see that my face was a little red.
The next day I went to my office. A colleague with a surname of Li asked me, "People look radiant when something wonderful has happened to them. Ms. Zhong, you look fantastic today. What good news do you have to share?" I replied, "I started to practice Falun Gong." She said, "Wow, is Falun Gong really that good? I want to practice, too."
One week later, my face felt normal again. Miraculously, the large deep discoloration on my face disappeared. I had made many attempts for years to get rid of it by visiting beauty parlors, but all attempts were futile until I began to practice Falun Gong.
b) Celestial Maidens Flying in the Sky
I became a firm believer in Falun Gong, and had greater belief in every sentence Teacher says in the book. A mystery I had hidden in my heart for over a decade has now revealed itself to me. I was 24 at the time. One night I was driving a fully loaded Chinese-made truck from Chengdu City to Dujiangyan City with a coal buyer. When I arrived at Tuqiao area, it was around 4 o'clock in the morning. I saw groups of celestial maidens flying in the sky. It was so magnificent! I was curious and thought, "You are always flying ahead of me. What if I drive a little faster to see who is faster?" But our distance remained the same. I then thought, "What if I slow down a little?" I released the gas pedal a little, but our distance was still the same. I woke the coal buyer sitting next to me, "Mr. Li, look! Celestial maidens are flying in the sky!" He opened his sleepy eyes, "Where?" I said, "Look, there are so many of them in the sky. Can't you see them?" What a pity, he opened his eyes wide-open but couldn't see the beautiful celestial maidens. I now know they [the celestial maidens] truly exist. It's just that ordinary people cannot see them.
c) The Whole Family Benefited
After experiencing the miracle and wonderfulness of Falun Gong, I wanted my mother and my son to learn this wonderful practice as well. My son was willing to learn the minute I told him. It took a while to persuade my mother to practice. I said, "Mom, let's practice Falun Gong together. It is better than my giving you a hundred million yuan. It is so wonderful to be disease-free! Look, I have only practiced for a week, the birthmark on my face that I had spent over ten thousand yuan trying to remove but in vain is now completely gone. You can see it with your own eyes." Mother replied, "I know Falun Gong is good. But you guys get up early and stay up late to practice it. And you stand for half an hour to hold the wheel, isn't it a torture? It's time for me to enjoy life." On a Sunday evening, after dinner my son said to my mother, "Grandma, let's go to do the exercises." My mother said, "I won't go. You go." My son held grandmother's hand and begged, "Grandma, let's go. If you feel good, you practice. If not, you don't practice. It doesn't cost a penny anyway." My mother was left with no choice but to go to the practice site with us.
At the practice site, fellow practitioners were very friendly to my mother, and taught her the movements with great patience. As my mother was illiterate, she could only listen when we read Falun Gong books. After the group study of Teacher's book, at 9 p.m., I drove my son to his teacher's home. Mother went home alone. She washed her feet and was ready to go to bed. Suddenly it seemed that her cerebrovascular disease had recurred, and she felt everything was moving in front of her. She couldn't even pour the water, and had to lie in bed and wait for me to get back home and find medicine for her. After hearing her description, I said, "It's a good thing. You have predestined relationship with Dafa. Teacher has begun to take care of you, and He is adjusting your body." I read Zhuan Falun to her. She fell asleep while listening. She woke up in the middle of the night and found she had recovered completely. She was perplexed, "It's so strange - I had such a serious attack last night. I thought I would have to take medicine and injections for two weeks like before. How could I make a complete recovery overnight this time only after listening to my daughter reading a book for a while? I have never seen Teacher Li, and he has never checked my pulse. How was the disease cured this time? Falun Gong is really miraculous. If I hadn't experienced it myself, I wouldn't believe it no matter what others tell me."
Ever since then, my mother began to practice Falun Gong earnestly. She felt practicing the exercises was more important than making money as many diseases can't be cured with money. Every morning she got up at 5 AM and walked to the practice site. After practicing for a month, all her diseases disappeared. More surprisingly, she could walk normally using her left leg that had been lame for the past 50 years! Seeing her change, everybody around us knew Falun Gong was great. So her two daughters, their husbands, and her daughter-in-law's parents who live in the countryside all started to practice, although after July 20, 1999 some of them stopped practicing out of fear. A more inconceivable thing happened. One day after mother had been practicing for two months; she suddenly had a stomachache and vomited (just like what described in Zhuan Falun.) What she vomited was all black. For the next several days, she didn't want to eat anything and just kept vomiting. She even vomited two worms out one day. On the 5th day, she thought, "Teacher, people would feel disgusted seeing me vomiting. It'd better to have diarrhea. With that thought, she started to have diarrhea in the afternoon. What came out was still black. This went on for two more days. My mother didn't have any food for seven days and seven nights, but she didn't feel hungry at all. It's just her lips became dry, and she'd dampen her lips with water. On the 8th day, the diarrhea stopped. She wanted to have a little rice soup, and started to have some congee. On the same day, I drove her to the practice site. She not only finished the standing exercises, but also the sitting meditation and didn't feel a bit of pain. Through doing the exercises and studying the Fa for a week, her health was completely restored. She had a good complexion after that. Her external and internal rheumatism, sciatica, gall-stones, serious appendicitis, and cerebrovascular disease were all gone.
My son also had great change after practicing Falun Gong. He was a "skinny monkey" when he was younger, but became "chubby kid" after he started to practice Falun Gong. He was dishonest when he was younger. I remember he had once scored 65 out of 100 for his Chinese Exam in Grade 1. For fear that I'd scold him, he changed his teacher's markings and changed the score to 100. After he began to practice Falun Gong, he stopped telling lies. Everybody said he has become honest and well behaved. In the latest test, his score ranked No. 1 in his class (he is now in 7th Grade). He also knows that all this is due to the power of Dafa, because Teacher requires him to follow "Truthfulness- Compassion -Forbearance."
d) The Incurable Blood Vessel Tumor Disappeared
Two months later, my good friend said to me, "Zhong, you have a very good predestined relationship with Dafa. The aneurism of the cranial artery in your right leg may have been cured too." Her words reminded me: During the previous two months, my son was in boarding school. Besides working, everyday I got up early and stayed up late to study the Fa, listen to Teacher's lecture tapes and do the exercises. I had been so busy that I've forgotten about my leg problem. Thinking back, I had been sitting for long hours till late night to read the books, and I drove for my business as usual. Why hadn't I felt any pain in the area where I had surgery? Why were there no symptoms of my cerebrovascular disease? Is it because the diseases are all cured? Yes, it's because of doing the exercises, because of practicing Falun Gong! It's Teacher who cured my diseases!!!
My tears kept running down my face. I was too excited to speak. It is Falun Gong that saved my life! It is Falun Dafa that gave me a second life and good health for the first time in my life! It is Falun Dafa that made my heart feel as pure and clear as jade! It was then I started to have a light and disease-free body!
d) Heart as Clear and Pure as Jade
Having no disease, having no mental burdens, I acquired a happy mood, my complexion turned brighter and my manners became gracious. My mother said to me smilingly, "I wish you had started to practice Falun Gong earlier! If you had started to practice earlier, your wouldn't have had so many hurtful words to say." My son said, "Mom's temper has improved so much." My friends joked, "We felt you were very overbearing in the past. Now you've changed. We think you are pretty nice, and are not bossy any more." I said, "It's Falun Gong that changed me."
Falun Gong is so wonderful, so miraculous! I told myself that I must persist in cultivating myself and I must tell its beauty and miraculous power to all my relatives and friends and ask them all to practice Falun Gong!
