Dong Guixia, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Suizhong County of Huludao City, was abducted in Shijiazhuang City and then taken back to Suizhong County. Currently her life is in great danger. 2. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Zhang Shuwen Abducted & Sent to the Harbin Drug Addiction Treatment Center
Zhang Shuwen is a former employee of the Goods & Materials Company of Daqing Petrochemical General Plant and a Falun Dafa practitioner. After the news of her being abducted was published on the Minghui.net website, Bai Xiuli from the National Security Team of Longfeng Public Security Branch in Daqing City received many phone calls from practitioners at home and abroad. Bai Xiuli realized that her crimes were exposed to the public and became extremely frustrated. She started to threaten Zhang Shuwen's family members. Zhang Shuwen was illegally sentenced to one and a half years in a forced labor camp. She has been sent to the Harbin Drug Addiction Treatment Forced Labor Camp.
In addition, there is a saying among the policemen that if three truth-clarifying VCDs and ten truth-clarifying flyers are found in a practitioner's home, he could be sentenced to three years in a forced labor camp.

4. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Practitioner Xu Chengqin Detained in a Brainwashing Class
On November 28, 2003, Xu Chengqin, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Dula Township, Baiyun District of Guiyang City, was abducted and sent to a brainwashing class, where she was subjected to torture. Xu Chengqin went on a hunger strike, protesting the illegal detention. The misguided people first tried to lure her with sentimentality and then they force-fed her, but she did not yield. 7. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Wang Shuhui Abducted
On the evening of December 4, nearly twenty policemen came to Wang Shuhui's home located at Jinshuizha, Jiangxia District of Wuhan City. They forcibly abducted Wang Shuhui and sent her to a brainwashing class. At the time, Wang Shuhui's husband resisted the violence and clarified the truth to them. However, the policemen did not listen. Instead, they knocked him down to the ground and left.

9. [Beijing City] Truth-Clarifying Material Site in Yanqing County Is Sabotaged
On December 23, 2003, a truth-clarifying materials site in Yanqing County was searched by local police. A computer, laser printer, ink-jet printer, and ready-made truth-clarifying materials were confiscated. Practitioner Ms. Zhao Jinghua, 28, was abducted in the afternoon. Her husband Wang Laiquan was arrested while at work the next day. (He works at the ticket office of the Badaling Great Wall scenic spot in Yanqing County. They are currently being illegally detained at the Yanqing Detention Center. Their ailing father in his seventies and daughter who is less than three years old are left alone at home.

10. [Chongqing City] Xiao Suxiang Illegally Sentenced to Forced Labor for Writing to Her Relatives About the Truth of Falun Dafa
Ms. Xiao Suxiang, 57, is a housewife of an employee from Huayu Factory in Chongqing City. She wrote to her mother and brother in Beijing regarding the truth of Falun Dafa in May, 2003. However, her letter was opened by the post office without permission. Later, police from Nanqiaoshi Shimahe Police Substation harassed her at her home many times and took her to the police substation for forced interrogation. On December 17, Shimahe Police Substation detained her for no reason and illegally sentenced her to two years of forced labor.

11. [Nong'an County, Jilin Province] Sun Shiying and Wang Qibo, A Married Couple, Are Abducted
Sun Shiying, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Niuweibashan Village of Yangshulin Township in Nong'an County was abducted at home around 6:40 p.m. on November 12, 2003. Nong'an Public Security Bureau and Yangshulin Police Substation were involved in the abduction. Currently we don't know whether he is being detained. Wang Qibo, Sun Shiying's husband, also a Dafa practitioner, was arrested on July 13, 2002. And he hasn't returned yet. Their poor little son and daughter are left alone at home.
12. [Tianjing City] Two Brothers Are Persecuted
The Dayingmen Police Substation in Tianjing City abducted Zhu Qinghe and his younger brother Zhu Wenhua at the end of May. Zhu Qinghe was illegally sentenced to forced labor for two years and three months. Mr. Zhu Wenhua, 47, is not allowed to meet with his family members and we don't know whether he is being detained.

14. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Wei Xingzhi from the No. 2 Nursery School Directly Under Hubei Provincial Government Is Again Detained in a Forced Labor Camp
Ms. Wei Xingzhi, 47, from the No. 2 Nursery School Directly under the Hubei Provincial Government went to Beijing to validate Falun Dafa in 2001. For this she was arrested and illegally sentenced to one year of forced labor. During detention, she was placed in confinement. After release, she was abducted and sent to the Yangyuan Brainwashing Class in Wuchang held by the "610 Office." Under heavy pressure and brutal persecution, she signed a document against her will. After getting back home, she wrote a solemn declaration, declaring to the world that the document she signed under duress is null and void. In May 2003, she was reported for teaching kids in kindergarten to sing "Falun Dafa is good!" Later, she was abducted again and dismissed from the working unit. Currently she is being detained at Team Nine of the Shayang Forced Labor Camp in Zhongxiang City, Hubei Province.

16. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] A Fa-Conference Is Held
Prior to "Changchun Falun Dafa Day" (December 22), practitioners in a township of Changchun City successfully held a Fa-conference. At 9:00 a.m., over a dozen practitioners attending the conference sent forth righteous thoughts together, eliminating the rotten spirits and evil in other dimensions and the black hands of the old forces that damage Fa-rectification and persecute Dafa practitioners. The righteous thoughts were powerful and the scene was solemn and peaceful. Practitioners then studied Teacher's articles "Lun Yu," "Fa-Rectification Period Dafa Disciples," "Path," etc. After Fa study, practitioners shared experiences together regarding cultivation practice amidst the Fa-rectification period, and clarifying the truth to people around the world. Through communication, all practitioners saw the enjoyable situation of Dafa in the local area, the improvement of practitioners' xinxing, and the awakening of people around the world. At the same time, practitioners realized the importance of exposing the persecutors and clarifying the truth. Practitioners also found their own attachments and expressed their resolutions to do well the three things that Teacher instructs us to do. They want to greet the coming of the New Year by doing what Fa-rectification Period Dafa disciples should do. The Fa-conference ended after sending forth righteous thoughts together with practitioners all over the world at 12:00 noon.
Worth special mention: The Fa-conference gained support and understanding from many everyday people. Hereby, we would like to pass our blessings on to those awakened beings.
17. [Yongqing County, Hebei Province] The Criminal Police Team Illegally Arrests Chu Junyi
After the illegal arrest of eleven Dafa practitioners on December 3 and 10, 2003, the Criminal Police Team in Yongqing County broke into practitioner Chu Jumyi's home and abducted him at 8:30 a.m. on December 24, 2003. One hour later, Zhang Zhenqing, Shang X, and Yang X from Section One of the Public Security Bureau once again broke into Chu Junyi's home and took away his computer and other items. On the 25th, they came to Chu Junyi's wife's (Li Ruimin) working unit (Yongqing Branch of the People's Bank) and attempted to abduct her with the same excuse. They failed to do so because Li Ruimin was not in.

18. [Songyuan City, Jilin Province] Practitioner Jiang Jianfeng Detained in Jiutai Forced Labor Camp
Mr. Jiang Jianfeng, 32, is from Songyuan City. He was abducted by the National Security Bureau in December 2001. In June 2002, he was sent to Jiutai Forced Labor Camp for a two-year term. During detention, he was subject to various brutal torture instruments and has been confined in "class under strict supervision." His term was extended three months for no valid reason.

Mr. Shao Yanbo is in his twenties, and is from Gansu Province. On December 7, 2003 he was abducted by the National Security Bureau.

21. [Fuzhou City, Fujian Province] Chen Weihua Detained in a Brainwashing Class
On the morning of December 10, 2003, Chen Weihua, a female practitioner in her forties from Taijiang Industrial & Commercial Bureau of Fuzhou City, was abducted while at work. Lin X, from Bangzhou Branch Bureau of Taijiang District, and Chen Quan, Party Secretary of Taijiang Industrial & Commercial Bureau, together with several clerks, tricked Chen Weihua to get in a vehicle under the pretense of examining privately owned small enterprises in the area that Chen Weihua was in charge of. After she got in the vehicle, they drove her directly to the brainwashing class where she was illegally detained and subjected to forced brainwashing. Currently Chen Weihua's blood pressure is over 160. Both her body and soul are severely tortured. It was learned that many practitioners are being detained at the brainwashing class.

23. [Xuchang City, Henan Province] Zhang Hongye and His Son Are Detained
On the evening of December 21, 2003, Li Hongwei, Sun Lina, and other policemen from the Politics & Security Section of Weidu Public Security Branch in Xuchang City broke into practitioner Zhang Hongye's home. They forcibly searched his home and found a copy of Zhuan Falun. They then abducted Zhang Hongye and detained him at the detention center. In the same evening, his son Zhang Tao was reported for distributing truth-clarifying materials. Zhang Tao is being detained at the Xuchang Detention Center.
24. [Hubei Province] Truth-Clarifying Banners Are Displayed
1. Practitioners in a city of Hubei Province put up yellow banners with the wording of "Falun Dafa is great!" "Falun Dafa is a righteous Fa!" The banners were displayed at municipal government, public security bureau, and medical college buildings. Red banners with the wording of "Falun Dafa is a righteous Fa!" were also put up at the gate of the municipal prosecution and court.
2. On the main highways to the well-known scenic spot, "Xingxing Bamboo Forest", practitioners in a city of Hubei Province put up over 40 red banners saying "Falun Dafa is great!" high above the electric poles. On a very steep cliff by the highway, a red banner about ten-meters long and one-meter wide saying "Falun Dafa, Truth-Compassion-Tolerance" was put up. With the background of the cliff and bamboo forest, it attracted lots of tourists. Some foreign tourists even took pictures of it. The head of the provincial "610 Office" was terribly frightened.
