(Clearwisdom.net) The Yoko Kaneko Rescue Committee appealed to the Human Rights Commission of the Japanese Association of Lawyers on February 5, 2003 for their assistance in rescuing Yoko Kaneko. On May 29, the Rescue Committee received a reply from the Human Rights Commission, stating that they will investigate the case. This means that the Japanese judiciary will indirectly conduct an investigation of human rights violations by the Chinese government.
