[Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Li Zhongguo Suffers Mental Collapse Due To Persecution

In December of 2001, Li Zhongguo, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Ying'emen Town, Qingyuan County, Liaoning Province, went to Beijing to validate the Fa and clarify the facts about Falun Dafa. He was arrested in Beijing and sent to the Qingyuan Detention House, where he insisted on studying the Fa and practicing the exercises. Together with other Falun Dafa practitioners, he often recited the poems from Hong Yin [a book of Poems written by Mr. Li Hongzhi]. The police officers in the detention facility reacted by instructing criminal prisoners to beat up the practitioners. These criminals beat practitioners' throats with leather shoes and concrete bars, almost suffocated them with quilts, lifted them up in the air, then suddenly dropped them to the floor, stripped off their clothes and poured cold water on their heads, pounded their fingers, etc. Due to this brutal persecution, Li Zhongguo suffered a mental collapse but was still sentenced to a three-year term in a forced labor camp. In July 2002, Li Zhongguo was sent back home, where he remains unresponsive to his surroundings.

[Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Wuhan Steel & Iron Design Institute Persecutes Falun Dafa Practitioners

Some officers of the Wuhan Steal & Iron Design Institute have assisted the Yejinjie Police Substation in persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners Sheng Zhengping and Zhu Chunlian. The institute actually hired people to follow and spy on them. During the holidays, when the two practitioners went to visit their relatives outside the city, the institute supplied drivers to take police officers from the Yejinjie Police Substation to arrest them at the home of their relatives. Before the 16th Party Congress, Zhu Chunlian was arrested on the street and sent to a brainwashing center in Qingshan District, where she was subjected to brutal torture.
