Young Beibei's Cultivation Stories

September 25, 2002 |

(Clearwisdom.net) In May 1997, Beibei started to cultivate Falun Dafa along with his mother. At the time he was 9 years-old. Dafa is now deeply rooted in his heart. The following are some of the stories from his cultivation practice.

1.

One day in September 1997, Beibei accidentally bumped into a classmate who was holding a cup of steaming hot water. The water spilled, and scalded the classmate's hand. Angrily the classmate poured the remaining water onto Beibei's chest causing severe burns that blistered immediately. Despite the injustice of the retaliation, Beibei kept silent and didn't blame the boy. Other classmates were scared by the wound and called the teacher. The teacher informed the other student's parents, and together they went to Beibei's home.

Beibei's mother asked about what happened, but she mainly consoled the teacher and the classmate's parents without blame. Beibei said to his mother, "I feel uncomfortable bringing so much trouble to the teacher..." Hearing this, the other student's parents and the teacher were too moved to say anything. "We were prepared to face anger, but..." said the other student's parents, "now we feel so ashamed."

That night, when Beibei laid down to sleep after finishing his homework, his mother asked him, "Do the burns hurt?" "No," answered Beibei. To a cultivator, good and evil come from one's instant thought. The next morning the blisters had disappeared, and the skin looked normal. After that the trouble-making student was no longer as naughty as before.

In 1999, Beibei was attending his second semester of middle school. He ranked among the first five in the middle school entrance exam.

One month after the beginning of the new semester, Beibei's mother went to appeal for Falun Gong in Beijing. Afterwards Beibei and his father also appealed. They were arrested. The three family members were sent back home on the same day. Beibei's father was arrested, while he and his mother were taken to the local "610 Office." Seeing the miserable look on his mother's face, Beibei encouraged her saying, "Mom, don't worry. I'll go to school all the same, but you must not write any guarantee." This shocked everyone in the room. His mother was sent to a detention center. It is hard to imagine that an 11 year-old kid was forced to live alone.

Although he had never been to his grandmother's house before, Beibei took the bus there alone, and brought his grandmother back to his home. Arriving back in school, the principal and all the teachers talked with him one by one, urging him to give up practicing cultivation. Beibei said, "I should not lie." Under the pressure, his teacher said sternly, "You'll be expelled if you don't write the promise." Beibei, however, replied firmly, "Whatever!" At home, Beibei's grandmother and many other relatives anxiously tried to persuade him to write a fake promise, but Beibei firmly insisted that following "Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance" and striving to be a good person is not wrong. He refused to speak any lies against his conscience.

Over the last 3 years, the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners by the regime has continued to escalate. Beibei has been forced to live without the care of his parents and has borne cruelty he should never have had to witness.

On December 5, 2001, Beibei's mother was arrested again for distributing materials that clarify the truth about the persecution of Falun Gong. His father was still in a labor camp. The police officers escorted his mother to their home, ransacked it, and stole a computer and other materials. His mother was handcuffed and Beibei watched. Their righteous thoughts stopped the police officers from swearing, but they still sent Beibei's mother to a detention center, leaving Beibei without his parents once again.

The neighbors all knew Beibei's mother was a good person, so they helped to look after Beibei while she was being held in the detention center. Once, Beibei went to visit his mother, and he comforted her by saying, "I am fine, neither hungry nor cold." His mother relaxed a lot in her heart and became more determined in the jail. She fearlessly and continually clarified the truth to the criminals and wardens, thus helping those with predestined relationships. After conducting a hunger strike, his mother was finally released unconditionally on April 19, 2002. The "610 Office," still refused to leave her alone. 10 days after her release, she was forced to leave home to avoid arrest. Beibei had to part with his mother, but he was proud of her when he told her story to his classmates. His father kept clarifying the truth to the police officers in the labor camp and was very determined to remain steadfast in belief. He was released at the end of his sentence.

After reading Beibei's experience, what thoughts do you have? Perhaps you are a mother, a teacher, or a youngster the same age as Beibei. The persecution of people who believe in "Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance" by the lawless Chinese regime has made countless families suffer tremendously. They could never deserve such unjust conditions.
