(Clearwisdom.net) Last spring I went to Beijing to validate Dafa and was illegally detained at Xingtang County Detention Center in Hebei Province. There was a local inmate, Qiu, in her thirties who was serving criminal detention. A dispute with her mother-in-law over a domestic affair turned into a fight, and her mother-in-law, under distress, reported her to the authorities. Then they imprisoned her. Her husband was doing odd jobs away from home and she was in jail, so her two young children were left at home without being taken care of, her family's fields were left untended, and the livestock were left unfed. She missed her children day and night, missed home, and felt that she had suffered great injustice. Having been imprisoned at such a young age just for fighting with her mother-in-law, she felt she had lost all face and had no courage to face people from now on. She cried all the time, saying that she wanted to kill herself. Consequently the whole cell had no peace. To prevent her from committing suicide, jailers put shackles on her and assigned female inmates to take turns watching her day and night.

Seeing that she suffered such agony in this world of delusion, we introduced Falun Dafa to her, telling her the following: "People do many bad things in each and every lifetime, bullying others and taking what belongs to others, and have thus accrued a lot of karma. Retribution suffered in life is repayment for karma owed from before. So people have to exercise forbearance when facing conflicts. A daughter-in-law should respect her in-laws. Our Teacher has said that killing is sinful and will incur a huge amount of karma. Suicide is also killing and is sinful, too. How could you pay back such a huge amount of karma?" She was deeply moved and said, "How nice it would have been if I had met you earlier. Now that I know suicide is sinful, I will never seek it again. When I get back I'll have to respect my in-laws. You Dafa practitioners are really good, and your Teacher must be even better. It is you who have saved my life." We took care of her in various ways, and helped her wash her soiled bedding. From then on her attitude improved daily. Seeing that she no longer wanted to kill herself, the jailers took the shackles off her feet and dismissed her monitors.

In fact, every Dafa practitioner not only treasures his own life, but he cherishes others' lives even more. Precisely because of this, Dafa practitioners risk their lives to clarify the truth to the people of the world so that people have the opportunity to properly position themselves in the new cosmos. The so-called "self-immolation" conducted by Jiang Zemin and his lackeys was intended to incite hatred towards Falun Gong from people who do not know the truth, and to justify escalation of the persecution. Jiang orders in cold blood: "Do not identify the body [of Falun Gong practitioners beaten to death], cremate them locally." Then he also lied to the world in saying that Dafa practitioners who had been tortured to death had committed suicide.

Nevertheless, no one can impede the Fa-rectification process. More and more people have come to realize clearly the evil nature of these murderers and have risen up against this vicious persecution.
