1. [Beijing] Female Falun Dafa Practitioners Demonstrate Their Divine Powers on the City Gate Tower of Tiananmen

On June 26, 2001, two female Falun Dafa practitioners went onto the city gate tower of Tiananmen and unfurled a Falun Dafa banner. Later police handcuffed them to a police vehicle. Both of them sent forth righteous thoughts, and both pairs of handcuffs were unlocked. They both returned home safely.

2. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Zeng Fanliang Is Responsible for the Deaths of Peng Min and His Mother

It has been verified that Zeng Fanliang is the policeman who directly participated in torturing Peng Min and his mother and is responsible for the deaths of both of them. Zeng Fanliang, male, is a policeman of Liangdao Street Police Substation affiliated to Wuchang Sub-Bureau of Wuhan Public Security Bureau. So far Zeng has not repented his criminal acts, and is still participating in persecuting other Falun Dafa practitioners.

3. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Brainwashing Class Turns into "Beating Class" in Xiong County

Wang Xiaoshu is a Falun Dafa practitioner in Xiong County of Baoding City, Hebei Province. Around 2:00 AM on the night of May 12, 2001, police forcibly took her away from home when she was asleep. They drove her to the brainwashing "base" located in Xiong County (without allowing her to put on shoes or all her clothes). She was told to attend several days of brainwashing classes there. When she got out of the car, she just said a few words, "I didn't put on my shoes, and I didn't finish my work at home, what should I do about it?" Just because of her words, a man in a police uniform later kicked her and she fell onto a stage. Three thugs rushed her into an empty, darkened room, and then brutally beat her with rubber clubs for over half an hour. These thugs also kicked her, and forcefully slapped her on the face. Their movements were like those with years of training in hand-to-hand combat. This practitioner now has wounds all over her body.

As the thug who beat this practitioner the hardest has admitted his mistake, this Falun Dafa practitioner has agreed not to have her family members file any lawsuit against him. We withhold publishing his name for now, in the hope that he will not blaspheme the benevolent compassion of Dafa practitioners by committing wrongdoings again, hurting others as well as he himself. Otherwise, retributions will ensue immediately. Here we also say a few words to all government officials and all of those who still have a conscience: It's time to wake up! Please remember that good deeds are met with good rewards, and evil acts are met with evil returns.

4. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Qingdao City Starts a New Round of Brainwashing Classes

On June 18, the evil forces in Qingdao started a new round of brainwashing classes at the No. 6 Rubber Factory. They used torture to brainwash Falun Dafa practitioners from both urban and suburban areas.

Betrayer Cui Weilei, the former deputy contact person of the Falun Dafa Assistance Center in Qingdao City, is now assisting the evil forces in brainwashing practitioners. He has become extremely evil. We hope practitioners can take the Fa as teacher, strengthen their righteous thoughts, eradicate the evil, not be influenced by human emotions (qing), and most importantly, that they not let Teacher down after his great benevolence in saving us.

5. [Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Sanmao Textile Group Incorporation Manager Wang Yu Slanders Falun Dafa and Persecutes Falun Dafa Practitioners

Since July 1999, in order to please Jiang Zemin's political gang, Wang Yu, the manager of Lanzhou Sanmao Textile Group, Inc., wantonly persecuted Falun Dafa practitioners in the company. He used all the propaganda tools of the company, including television, the newspaper and the bulletin board to slander Falun Dafa. He detained 11 practitioners who had gone to Beijing. In Sanmao Textile Group Incorporation, one practitioner was sent to a labor camp, two practitioners were forced to resign and seven practitioners were dismissed from their jobs, but kept by the company under contract. Although they are still working, the company has stopped paying salaries to most of the dismissed practitioners; one of them has not received any salary for 20 months. This is the kind of abuse that is going on.

6. [Beijing] Police Illegally Arrest Falun Dafa Practitioners

On June 7, 2001, the police took Changchun Falun Dafa practitioner Tian Xiulu (female) away from her work unit, the Beijing Ritan Guesthouse. Her whereabouts remain unknown. On June 25, 2001, Beijing Falun Dafa practitioner Liu Xinru (female) was kidnapped by the Wanshou Temple Street Office of Haidian District from her work unit to be brainwashed through the use of torture.

7. [China] Verbal Abuse May Be Used as a Train Ticket

On June 22nd, 2001, in the No. 6451 train from Qitaihe to Jiamusi, Heilongjiang Province, I witnessed the following:

At 10:00 AM in the morning, the captain and the police of the train were checking the tickets in the sixth carriage. They discovered one person who did not have a ticket, any ID, or even a penny to his name. The captain asked him whether he practices Falun Gong. This person said no. The captain asked him to verbally abuse the founder of Falun Dafa; he swore and also said some words from the television propaganda. Then the captain and the police went on their way. It seems that in China verbal abuse may be used as train ticket. That is really a shame.

8. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Retirement Pensions of Chengdu Falun Dafa Practitioners are Being Withheld. A 72-Year-Old Falun Dafa Practitioner Disappears.

The retired employees of No. 106 Factory of Chengdu City started to receive their retirement pensions from the Social Security Bureau in June. However, the Social Security Bureau has withheld the retirement pensions of the following Falun Dafa practitioners: Tao Hua, Lei Xinghua, Han Junying, Hu Yanghua, Zhao Liqin, Zhong Shengquan, Li Jiazhen, Liu Shuyun, Yang Fengqun, Yang Guihua, Wan Yixiang, Hu Yuqing, Liu Gongli, and two other practitioners.

Jiang Zhenmei has not returned home since she went out to clarify the truth of Falun Dafa to the people. Her whereabouts are unknown. We think that the wicked people have kidnapped her. Jiang Zhenmei is 72 years old.

9. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Police in Rushan Detention Center Brutally Beat Falun Dafa Practitioners. Policemen Admit, "Falun Gong Has Won."

The Rushan Detention Center illegally detained seven female and four male Falun Dafa practitioners in May and June. Police illegally arrested them, ransacked their homes, and forced their relatives to sign papers. They brutally beat the practitioners. Among those illegally detained, four were taken to the local detention center. Three days later, they were sent to the Jinan City Labor Camp. One female practitioner named Jiang Ping was dragged out of bed by male policemen. She was not allowed to get dressed. At that time, four practitioners held Jiang Ping to prevent the police from taking her away. More than ten policemen rushed over and forcibly dragged her away. Her husband was previously sentenced to four and half years of imprisonment for printing Falun Dafa materials. Her child is the only one left at home.

After Jiang Ping was taken away, the police immediately put handcuffs and shackles on the four other practitioners. The four practitioners were chained together. They could not stand up straight. Later, more than twenty police came and beat these four practitioners. One of the policemen beat the practitioners with plastic tubing. The Falun Dafa practitioners still treated them with compassion.

In the detention center, five Falun Dafa practitioners sent forth righteous thoughts to suffocate the evil. They then began a hunger strike; five days later, they were force-fed. While being force-fed, one Falun Dafa practitioner told them, "You treat us this way, but we do not hate you. Please remember, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is the fundamental law of the Universe." This practitioner also recited Teacher's articles for them. When another practitioner was being force-fed, police asked her, "You do not eat. What are you seeking?" This practitioner said, "I am not seeking anything, I just want to restore the good name of Falun Dafa and my Teacher. I want to have the freedom to practice Falun Dafa." The detention center was afraid of assuming any responsibility. The procuratorial department was also afraid of being responsible for the practitioner's deaths, so they agreed to release the practitioners and notified the practitioners' relatives to bring money to the detention center, in order to take the practitioner's home. The ransom amount was 6,000 Yuan RMB (more than 8 months average salary in urban areas). They also forced the practitioners' relatives to agree that if any practitioner's life was in critical condition, the detention center would not be held responsible. The police in the detention center admitted, "Falun Gong has won."

10. [China] The Wicked Police Officer Zhang Xiaosen in Siping Labor Camp

The home phone number of vicious police officer Zhang Xiaosen (guard) in Siping Labor Camp: 86-434-2209812. When calling him, do not let him drag you into lengthy talks, just solemnly warn him. The telephones in the labor camp and in the homes of the labor camp leaders have been bugged in order to track down Falun Dafa practitioners. Several practitioners have succeeded in escaping from Siping Labor Camp.

11. [Tianshui City, Gansu Province] Updates to the Crimes Committed by Tianshui Police

On June 18^th, Minghui Net exposed the crimes of police in Tianshui City, Gansu Province, in persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners. This has had a strong impact among local people.

The detention center mentioned in the article published on Minghui is Qincheng District Detention Center in Tianshui City. The police officers who participated in committing the crimes are: Director Liu Shuyuan, Xian Liqiang, and the Section Chiefs of the Political Security Section of Qincheng District, Wen Dahu, and Pei Guilin. The person who searched for money in the female practitioner's underwear is section chief Jiang Yonggang from the security section of Yonghong Factory.
