[Minghui Net] More than 100 Falun Dafa practitioners from various cities (of Anhui Province) were separately detained in four Large Units in the Anhui provincial female labor camp. In order to uphold their faith in Dafa [the great law], many Dafa practitioners suffered brutal torture. For example, Fan Ying and Wang Yuefang in the No. 4 Large Unit were beaten repeatedly, just because they did Falun Gong exercises. Their hands were hung behind their backs with their palms facing up, and they were hung at such height that their toes could barely reach the ground. Sometimes they were left this way for four to five hours. When they were released, they fell to the ground, weak-limbed, unable to walk, and it took a long time for them to recover. Especially Fan Ying: once she was caught doing exercises, and the police chief tied one of her arms to the window and rigorously pulled her other arm in the opposite direction. She felt as if she would be split in half, and screamed out of excruciating pain. Her scream shook the whole labor camp. As she was denied the right to do exercises, she held a hunger strike. After several days of her hunger strike, the inhuman police forced her to do heavy labor, which involved carrying a bag that weighed more than 100 jin [approx.110 Pounds ] from the third floor to the ground floor. In this state, she was forced to carry a total of more than ten bags.

Wang Yuefang was often placed in solitary confinement because she recited Hong Yin [Teacher's poem collection] and did Falun Gong exercises. Her mouth was sealed by tape, and her face was pinched black and blue by the No. 4 Unit leader Li Ming. Team leader Ma once hung her as mentioned above from the morning to the afternoon, and she almost passed out. One day instructor Deng grabbed her hair and violently banged her head against the wall until her head bled, and a big lock of her hair was ripped out, exposing a piece of scalp about 2 to 3 centimeters in diameter [0.75-1.125 inches].

Tao Shoufen was hung daily by the No. 4 Unit leader in a small room because of doing Falun Gong exercises, and was beaten savagely for more than half a month. The leader ordered two other prisoners to guard her. In the end, she was afflicted with psychosis as the result of the persecution.

Wu Zhihua, in the No. 3 Unit, was hung up until she passed out. Guards poured cold water over her to force her back to consciousness; then she was hung up again. The two vicious policemen in No. 3 Unit are: team leader Wang and team leader Zhang.

Wu Xiaohua, in No. 2 Unit, was repeatedly placed in solitary confinement because she did Falun Gong exercises. She was brutally tortured in all sorts of ways, consequently she went insane and was sent to a mental institution.

The story of Li Mei was even more pitiful. Because she persisted in cultivating Falun Dafa and firmly refused to be "reformed," she was persecuted to death in the labor camp.

The police in the labor camp were barbarously cruel! However, they told the released so-called "reformed" people [the people whose minds have gone astray due to Jiang Zemin regime's brainwashing or torture] not to disclose the truth about the persecution of Dafa practitioners in the labor camp.
