On November 26, "The Journey of Falun Dafa" photo exhibition was held in the civic center in Cambridge. On display were over 200 photos, including some of England Falun Gong practitioners' Fa rectification activity photos.

Former MP of Cambridge Anne Campbell, former ambassador to Ireland Lord Francis, Lord Moyne, Chairman of Friends of Falun Gong in Europe John Dee, and England Falun Dafa Association member Mr. Peter Jauhal attended the opening ceremony and gave speeches.

MP Anne Campbell said, "Any persecution of human rights, including the persecution of Falun Gong, cannot be tolerated. I am here today to understand more about Falun Gong through these photos."

Nearly 90-year-old Lord Francis said in his speech, "Falun Gong doesn't only belong to China. It is a worldwide, new civilization spiritual movement. She represents the future of mankind. The spiritual power, moral standard, and courage of Falun Gong will spread to all of mankind and a new civilization will be born. It is very similar to the contribution of Christianity in the past to the moral civilization of mankind."

Mr. John Dee emphasized that the actions of the 36 Western Falun Gong practitioners who unfurled a "Truthfulness Compassion Forbearance" banner and told Chinese people that "Falun Dafa is good!" have represented Western society's support and identification with Falun Gong. China's increasingly deplorable human right status and its persecution of Falun Gong spiritual movement does not suit the spirit of the Olympic Games which Beijing will hold in 2008. We hope that China will immediately cease the persecution of Falun Gong and allow "Truthfulness Compassion Forbearance", the belief and moral standard the mankind shall have, to freely spread.

The photo exhibition attracted a lot of Westerners and Chinese students from Cambridge University. Some Westerners were deeply moved by the photos and got to know Falun Gong. After looking at the photos, one Western scholar from Cambridge told us, "Before this photo exhibition, I had heard of Falun Gong through other avenues. My impression of Falun Gong was that if it was not bad, at least those people were extremists or religious zealots. But now that I have seen you in person and all these photos that recorded the whole time line, my impression has totally changed. You are so peaceful and compassionate. Especially when facing such atrocities and unfairness, you still appear so peaceful and rational. You are so great." He also suggested that we should hold more activities like this one and keep in touch with the general public, and let society directly know Falun Gong instead of letting people hear Falun Gong from other avenues and use their imagination to judge Falun Gong.

Many Westerners wanted to learn Falun Gong exercises.

Some young Chinese students at Cambridge had many deep misconceptions about Falun Gong because their heads were full of the lies made up by Jiang Zemin's regime. After seeing the photo exhibition, they were shocked. Some photos were taken before the persecution, especially those large-scale group practice photos taken in Shenyang and Wuhan. They questioned why the Chinese government acted so differently before and after July 1999. Moreover, they were moved by Falun Gong practitioners' peaceful and compassionate behavior. Some of them asked for our Dafa materials and wanted to learn more about Falun Gong. They wanted to make their own independent judgments.

One elderly Chinese man who is visiting his relatives in England told us, "Now I know why Jiang Zemin wants to persecute Falun Gong. I didn't know there were so many Falun Gong practitioners before the persecution. The group practice photos in Shenyang and Wuhan are so spectacular. Of course Jiang would be afraid when he saw them."

England Falun Dafa Association Mr. Peter Jauhal, who graduated from Cambridge, said that the 9/11 incident has shocked the whole world. People have realized that terror and evil are the common enemy of the world. The terror and atrocities caused by Jiang Zemin's regime in the persecution of Falun Gong is the evil that all countries should eliminate. We have called on the British government to put the issue of stopping China in any persecution of Falun Gong at the top of the daily agenda. Many Western practitioners felt the courage and justice from these photos. It requires tremendous courage and spiritual power! These photos made us understand more about the function of Dafa particles. Our daily Hongfa and truth-clarifying activities look ordinary, but they can become a powerful force.

Falun Gong practitioners of the Cambridge area spent much time and energy to host this photo exhibition. They were so happy to see all these positive results. This photo exhibition will be shown in other areas of England to let more people know about Falun Dafa directly.
