There is a great amount of red blood cells (erythrocytes) in our blood, because of this our blood is red.  Aside from this, there are white blood cells (leukocytes).  White blood cells have an important function in the immune process in the body.  Of the white blood cells, there are neutrophils that take up about 70% of the white blood cell count.  Neutrophils, also called polymorphonuclear leukocytes (PMN's), are cells that do not divide, and have a very short life.  Under normal circumstances, the half-life in blood is only seven hours, and even shorter outside the body.  In low temperatures they can only be kept for two to three hours.  Because of this, the bone marrow that creates blood must rapidly be producing neutrophils to replace the old.  Someone that weighs fifty kilograms has to produce fifty billion neutrophils every day, or else they will get reduced neutrophils symptoms.  This will lead to an increase in infections from bacteria and viruses.  When infected, neutrophils will gather together in one area, this will lead to an inflammatory reaction.

The age of neutrophils can be determined from the number of leaves, young neutrophils have circular nuclei, and there are more leaves on older ones.  In normal people, a great majority of neutrophils are circular young ones.  Neutrophils with leaves are mostly nuclei with three to five leaves, there are very few cells that have nuclei with over five leaves.  Between the leaves over half are connected, few are completely separated.

Here are the discoveries made from our testing the neutrophils of seventeen Falun Dafa practitioners:

1. The ratio of neutrophils were reduced, the highest did not go past 50% (for ordinary people it is 70%, p < 0.0001), the lowest only had 10% that of ordinary people.
2. There were obviously more neutrophils' nuclei's leaves, even to the point of having seven and eight leaves on the cells nuclei (ordinary peoples' leaves are mostly between three and five).  The leaves were also rather complete (ordinary peoples' leaves are mostly not complete).  This states that the life of these neutrophils have already been lengthened.
3. The life of neutrophils leaving the body had obviously lengthened, the have been kept alive outside the body for sixty hours (we are still in the process of watching them).  The dye has proven that 90% of these cells have been kept alive (cells of ordinary people can only be kept outside the body for two to three hours, p<0.0001)
4. Neutrophils have attached stronger to a piece of glass.  Cells kept at room temperature for twelve hours continued to remain strongly attached to the glass, the attaching rate surpasses 50% within the first five minutes.  The attachment rates of newly divided neutrophils of ordinary people are below 20% within the first five minutes.  (p<0.0001)

As everyone knows, those with neutrophils level lower than 50% have reduced immunization functions, these people are easily infected.  Cultivators of Falun Dafa on the other hand, do not get diseases.  Therefore, this states that cultivators of Falun Dafa compared to those with a reduced neutrophil count, have a strengthened resistance (currently we are progressively testing and searching for organic factor).  The obvious increase of leaves shows that the life of the  neutrophils in the body has been lengthened.  The period of time of these neutrophils being kept alive outside the body declares the life of these cells have been super normally lengthened.  The neutrophils sticking to the piece of glass is and important standard for the life of these cells.

These figures given above cannot be explained using the theories of modern hematology.  Therefore, if we want to truly recognize these phenomena, our rigid and ossified views must be changed.  According to Zhuan Falun, the tenets of Falun Gong and other forms of qigong cultivation is to be peaceful and slow in practice.  When meditating the beats of the heart and flow of blood will all slow down, metabolism will therefore be slowed down as well.  Looking at it this way, it is not difficult to understand what was discussed above.  Slowing down of the metabolism of cells, will cause the division of these cells to slow down and their life will be lengthened.  This leads to having older leaves.

Aside from this, Falun Gong collects high energy matter and stores it in the cells of the human body.  This may be the base for neutrophils slowing down and the strengthening of the immune ability of the host.  As long as cultivators have 20% to 30% neutrophils as that of normal people, then they can achieve supernormal resistance to disease.  Hypothesizing, the marrow of cultivators may not need to create fifty billion cells a day like ordinary people's marrow, in order to maintain a strong resistance.  Aside from this, the comparatively lowered amount of neutrophils states why cultivators' cells are not like of ordinary peoples' that they do not need to overly gather together and have an inflammatory reaction.  This kind of organic transformation towards precise control and high degree abilities states that Falun Dafa is the cultivation of supernormal mechanisms.  It can correct any incorrect state, even including unreasonable physiological norms.  The storage of high energy matter maybe one of the reasons that the cells will withstand for a long time before entering into a state of death.  The examples concerning neutrophils listed above already states that cultivators' organic state has had a change in nature.

According to the results from above, to put is simply, the neutrophils of these Falun Dafa cultivators are already supernormal cells.
 

A comment added about what the researchers learned:

An extremely difficult question hematologists have encountered for several hundred years is how neutrophils can be cultured outside the body, up to today no one has been able to answer this.  The neutrophils of Falun Dafa cultivators are able to be cultured outside the body for a long period of time.  This will lead to a great breakthrough for modern cytology.  It is regretful that the method is too complicated for ordinary people.  One must practice Falun Gong and read Zhuan Falun.  It is no wonder that the founder of Falun Gong (Li Hongzhi) said, "If human beings are able to take a fresh look at themselves as well as the universe and change their rigid mentalities, humankind will make a leap forward. 'The Buddha Fa' enables humankind to understand the immeasurable and boundless world. Throughout the ages, only 'the Buddha Fa' has been able to perfectly provide a clear exposition of humanity, every dimension of material existence, life, and the entire universe."
