Case Description:
Mr. Zhang Shunjie, 41 years old, lived in the South Guandong Area, Weizhou Town, Wei County, Hebei Province. Because he refused to give up the practice of Falun Gong, he was persecuted many times by the agents of the 610 Office of Wei County, the Police Department of Wei County, Wei County Detention Center, Wei County Brainwashing Center, Wei County Xiheying Police Station, Wei County Xiheying Town Xihe Village, Weizhou Town Police Station joint unit, and so on. Mr. Zhang suffered from many serious diseases such as cerebral hemorrhage, heart disease, and pneumonia, and for several years he frequently felt dizzy, experienced chest pain, spit up blood, had asthma, etc. Over time these symptoms became more severe. On December 15, 2007, Mr. Zhang Shunjie died an unjust death due to the persecution.
