On March 15, 2009, Mr. Fang Yuchang, in his 70s, was suddenly kicked to the ground in the street by a group of police and was then arrested. They then ransacked his home. Mr. Fang was detained in the Daan Detention Center. There he passed away on July 20, 1999.
