Li Zhishui, a resident of Shuangliushu village, Hemujing town, Xinji City, Hebei Province, was 59 years old and held a junior high school diploma. In order to be responsible and truthfully say, "Falun Dafa is good," he legally appealed in Beijing during the National People's Congress meetings in March of 2000. After being arrested and sent back, he was detained illegally and then transferred to the "Mandatory Transformation Class" held by the Xinji XX Party School. Enduring over 80 days of illegal detention in the "transformation" class, his mental health greatly deteriorated due to the tremendous physical and mental pressure. He began to suffer from serious mental agitation. After he was released and went home, he could not eat or sleep. His mental state was constantly tense and agitated, until he finally passed around August 2000.
