Case Description:
Mr. Yuan Jiang graduated with a Bachelor's degree in 1995. He was the deputy director of the Lanzhou City Telecommunication Bureau Affiliated Information Technology Company. Since he refused to give up practicing Falun Gong, he was forced to step down to become the Chief Technology Inspector. On August 30, 2001, Mr. Yuan was arrested in the Dunhuang Area in Gansu Province. Officers from Gansu Province Police Department brutally tortured him. He died on November 9, 2001.
