Baimalong Forced Labor Camp in Zhuzhou City
Case Description:
Dafa practitioner Ms. Liu Caiyun, over thirty years old, came from Yongzhou, Hunan Province. In October 2000, she was abducted by police in Zhuzhou (Hunan Province) while she was walking to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. The police first held her at the Lengshuitan Detention Center for a month, then transferred her to the Mangshan Detention Center and held her there for over twenty days. Later, Ms. Liu was held at the Lingjiaotang Detention Center for two months. Finally, the police took her to Zhuzhou's Baimalong Forced Labor Camp, where she was tortured for eight months. Ms. Liu went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution. In March 2003, Ms. Liu Caiyun was tortured until she was in critical condition. She was very thin by that time, and the police continued to force-feed her. Later, Liu Caiyun died as a result of the continual torture she was subjected to at Zhuzhou's Baimalong Forced Labor Camp.
