Case Description:
Ms. Liu Yuhong, in her thirties, was a teacher of Second High School of Nanshan District. After July 20, 1999, she was forced to quite her job. Later, she was arrested and detained in a detention center, where she held a hunger strike to protest the persecution. She was disgnosed as heart abnormality. In mid-May 2002, she was released. After that, the police officers kept on monitoring and harassing her family. Finally she passed away on August 20, 2002.
