Case Description:
Mr. Liu Mingkan, 31, was a lecture of Xi'an City Transportation University. In 2000, he went to Beijing City for a business trip. In the Tiananmen Square, he was arrested by police and detained for two days. After release, he was frequently harassed. In March 2003, he was taken to a brainwashing center, where he suffered severe mental devastation. As a result, he developed brain tumor. The operation failed. He passed away in February 2004.
