Case Description:
Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Cui Dexin, 65, from Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province was often harassed by the police after July 20, 1999, when the Jiang Zemin regime started persecuting Dafa. In late 2000, Cui Dexin went to Beijing to validate Dafa. The policemen at Tiananmen Square, however, detained him and sent him to the Shijiazhuang City Liaison Office in Beijing. The police in the liaison office handcuffed three practitioners with 2 handcuffs for 3 days. Later, the Hedong Administration Office in Shijiazhuang took Cui Dexin back home, releasing him after forcing his family to pay 1200 yuan a week later. (See attached photo of the receipt.) At that time, he was already very weak due to the torture. As a result of being continually harassed and threatened, Cui Dexin passed away on April 6, 2002.
