Case Description:
Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Huang Qiaolan was 58 years old and lived in 46-700 Lane, Room 101, Huanzhenbei Street, Dachang Town, Baoshan District, Shanghai City. On November 20, 2001, she was arrested by security guards while passing out truth clarifying materials and detained one year at the Luodian Detention Center in the Baoshan District. Her family paid nearly five thousand yuan extortion money in order to rescue her. Finally she was sentenced to three years parole (November 20, 2001 to November 20, 2004). After she returned to her home, the local 610 Office, police, and Neighborhood Administration continually harassed her and threatened her at her home. She was twice abducted by Dachang Town 610 Office agent Liu Bing and others and sent to brainwashing classes. Ms. Huang Qiaolan had been severely hurt both mentally and physically, and the doctor found her suffering with late stage lung cancer. She died on October 29, 2004, during her parole period.
