Mr. Xu Xiaochun was born on April 13, 1964. He was a farmer from Shaijiashan, Xinjie Town, Jiayu County, Hubei Province. After the persecution of Falun Gong began on July 20, 1999, officials from the Xinjie Town government and police from the Xinjie Town local police station forced him to go to work on a drainage system for flood prevention. Soon after he returned, police of Xinjie Town local police station deceived him into coming to the station. They beat him and broke two of his ribs. Mr. Xu fell to the ground.

On April 25, 2001, the same police deceived Mr. Xu again into coming to the police station. They tortured him brutally until he fainted. Police took him to Jiayu County No. 1 Detention Center and ransacked his home the same day.

At Jiayu County No. 1 Detention Center, Xu Xiaochun was beaten up by prisoners. Guards extorted over 3,000 yuan before he was released on June 1. After he returned home, Mr. Xu did not recover. Yet, officials from Shaijiashan, Li Bingshan, Li Yongxiang and Li Bolin, harassed continued to harass him.

Due to internal injury, he was handicapped. Mr. Xu Xiaochun passed away on the morning of December 13, 2006. When he was dying, all injuries from the torture haunted him. Relatives and local people said that the evil party kills people by subtle means.
