Case Description:
Mr. Wu Guangyuan was from Jiahe Village in Yongling Township, Xinbin County, Fushun City, Liaoning Province. Since the persecution of Falun Gong started on July 20, 1999, Mr. Wu was illegally arrested by police officers Zhang Rongqing and Cao Sixin from the Yongling Police Station. In 2000, Mr. Wu was sent to a forced labor camp. He was once again illegally sentenced to forced labor in July 2004. In June 2006 Mr. Wu escaped the Fushun Labor Camp. But on August 28, 2006, he was again arrested by police officers Guo Huawei and Cao Sixin and sent to the Fushun City Luotaishan Brainwashing Center. He developed edema after being released from the brainwashing center, and was diagnosed of uremia. Wu Guangyuan died in March 2007.
