Case Description:
Ms. Zhang Huifang, 64, was a Falun Dafa practitioner from Wuhan City, Hubei Province. She previously suffered from many illnesses such as hepatitis, ulcer, heart disease, and gynecological problems. She obtained the Fa in 1993, regained her health, and changed from a weak and frail person to one who was very energetic. After July 20, 1999, when the persecution began, she joined an outdoor group practice site and went to Beijing to appeal. She was arrested three times, detained, frequently harassed, and closely monitored. Because she was overwhelmed emotionally, her old ailments returned. She died on July 13, 2003.
