Case Description:
Mr. Liu Shijun, 43 years old, was a practitioner from Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province. After he started practicing Falun Gong, many of his diseases were cured and he was in excellent health. After the persecution started on July 20, 1999, he went to Beijing to appeal for his right to practice Falun Gong and was arrested and detained in the Jixi City Detention Center for four months. After being released, his health deteriorated and his old diseases came back. He passed away on March 4, 2005.
