Case Description:
Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Jiang Jieyu from the 3rd Team of the Xinming Commune in Pi County, Sichuan Province, went to Beijing twice to peacefully appeal for Falun Gong and was persecuted many times. When she was incarcerated in the Zizhong County Nanmusi Women's Forced Labor Camp, she was not sent home until she had been tortured to the brink of death and had lost consciousness. She died in late 2003.
