Case Description:
Ms. Zhang Yuelan, in her 70s, was a retired doctor from Nanliu Town Hospital in Anqiu City, Shandong Province. On July 9, 2008, several officers tried to arrest her at her home. Ms. Zhang had just broke her leg. Officers saw that her injury was very serious, so they had to leave her at home but assigned local police to watch her 24 hours per day. Her son and daughter-in-law were also home. They kept any other Falun Dafa practitioners from visiting her. Ms. Zhang had no personal freedom at all and later on could not eat and became very thin.
