Mr. Wang was born on April 4, 1949. He worked for the Forklift Plant Administration Division in Hefei City, Anhui Province. He was known to be a good person by everyone in his company.

On April 30, 2003, the 610 Office police went to Mr. Wang's home, and they threatened and harassed him because they saw a practitioner enter his home. They ransacked Mr. Wang's home and confiscated his computer equipment and household appliances, which had a total value of over 10,000 Yuan. He was forced to leave home and move from place to place. Mr. Wang's wife, Ms. Zhang Jiyu, was also victimized by the persecution. She was forcibly sent to a detention center for one month and then held in an administrative detention camp for another 15 days. Then she was taken to a brainwashing center for more persecution.

On September 24, 2004, Mr. Wang went to help produce truth-clarification materials in Fuyang City. He and more than 10 other practitioners were arrested by the CCP personnel there. They were held in different places. They were severely beaten and had confessions extracted from them by torture.

On June 15, 2005, the CCP court in the Yingzhou District, Fuyang City secretly held a hearing for Mr. Wang and other practitioners. The court did not inform practitioners' families or announce the names of the judge and adjudicator. There were no spectators allowed. Because practitioners had no lawyers who could defend them, they had to represent themselves. During the hearing, they shouted "Falun Dafa is good!" and "Falun Dafa is an upright teaching!"

In September 2005, the court secretly held another trial against Mr. Wang. He was sentenced to eight years in prison and sent to the Suzhou Prison in Anhui Province. During his imprisonment, the wardens ordered two inmates who had infectious diseases to supervise him. One of them had tuberculosis and the other had hepatitis. They forced Mr. Wang to do hard labor everyday.

Mr. Wang was very steadfast in his belief in Falun Gong even when he was in prison. In February 2007, the police searched Mr. Wang's body. They found some copies of writings by Falun Gong's Teacher. As a result, they threw him into the confinement cell, where he was severely beaten. They also instigated prison personnel and inmates against him. As a result of the persecution, Mr. Wang became incontinent and his lower body was numb. Because he could not look after himself and nobody else did, he was often covered in feces.

In early April 2007, the general manager from Mr. Wang's company visited him in the prison. Mr. Wang told he that he couldn't move his legs anymore. Shocked by the scene, the manager demanded that one of the prison guards take him to the hospital for treatment. Before going to the hospital, Mr. Wang said, "I am very dirty and smell so badly. I'd like to take a shower before I go to the hospital." Enraged for some reason, the prison guard ordered inmates to force his feet into a bucket of boiling water. Half a day later, his feet swelled up and festered, with blisters all over. The prison guard then forced Mr. Wang to say on videotape, "The inmates were just trying to help clean my legs. They didn't do it intentionally."

Mr. Wang was diagnosed by the hospital as having bone cancer, paralysis, numbness, and incontinence. He was in good health before the persecution. His critical health problems are directly attributable to his long-term imprisonment and mistreatment.

In order to shirk responsibility, Suzhou Prison released Mr. Wang in late April 2007 after he was tortured to the verge of death. On April 26, 2007, Mr. Wang's wife went to pick him up . As she tried to apply for medical treatment for Mr. Wang, the prison chief, who had the last name Tang, told her that they had no money. He also stated that Mr. Wang had to write guarantee statements to give up Falun Gong to be eligible for medical care.

When Mr. Wang returned home, a huge bedsore was found near his buttocks. Because he had not relieved his bowels for more than 10 days, his stomach was extremely swollen. He became incontinent and his face was grossly distorted. He was diagnosed with bedsore sepsis two months after he was taken home. At 5 o'clock on June 22, 2007, he passed away at the young age of 59.

Mr. Pan Yujun Once Again Suffering from Cruel Torture (Photo)

On May 20, 2009, six practitioners, including Mr. Pan Yujun from Laizhou City, Shandong Province, were illegally sentenced and sent to Jinan Prison. Since Mr. Pan Yujun most recent arrest, he has been cruelly tortured. He weighs barely over 100 pounds, is extremely weak and unable to stand up, is incontinent, has no energy to talk aloud, and lives every day in a great amount of pain. He has been on a hunger strike for more than seven months. The guards conduct force-feeding on him once a week which causes him to almost pass out each time. The detention center and the court are withholding information about his condition from his family

In February 2009 his father died while Mr. Pan was in detention, and he was not allowed to go home to see him for the last time. His mother is nearly 80 years old, and is having difficulty eating and sleeping. She has visited the court and the detention center more than ten times, and each time it cost her over 100 yuan. One time she knelt down to beg the prosecutor Qu Songtao to let her see her son, but the judge and guards refused her. Mr. Pan's older sister argued with the detention center doorman, and was beaten. He even threatened to kill her.

On June 25, 2008, Mr. Pan was working at the Panjia Construction Company located in Tushan Town. Officers from the Laizhou City Domestic Security Division and the 610 Office arrested him and ransacked his home. They tortured him for 48 hours in the Dianzi Brainwashing Center, which resulted in his face turning blue, his mind being unclear, and his whole body being covered with wounds. Both hands became numb and he could not straighten out his fingers. The officers handcuffed his wrists and hung him up on the wall, with the tips of his toes barely touching the floor. They forced him to smoke by stuffing cigarettes in his nose, and then force-fed him beer by grabbing his hair and pinching his nose [Note: Falun Gong practitioners generally do not smoke or drink alcohol]. They failed at first, and then they called in another officer to punch his stomach very hard, and force-fed him beer when he took a deep breathe due to the pain. The nails that held his handcuffs to the wall were both broken off the wall when Mr. Pan struggled, and the officers then changed to a set of expanding tension screws, and those broke off as well. They then changed to another set of bigger screws. They stripped Mr. Pan, and insulted him by writing and drawing on his body. They tied his feet together, swinging his body, and causing his body weight to be totally suspended on his two wrists. The handcuffs cut into his flesh, and both sides of his chest were purple and bruised due to the beating. He could not take a deep breath, and when he coughed he was in extreme pain.

Photos above were taken after Mr. Pan was tortured in June 2008

After Mr. Pan Yujun escaped the evil den on June 27, 2008, he had to flee to avoid being arrested. The 610 Office agents searched for his whereabouts multiple times. On the evening of August 8, 2008, officer Zhang Haifeng and others arrested Mr .Pan and another practitioner Ms. Ren Qiaoyue. They took them to the Dianzi Brainwashing Center that same night. The police immediately hung Mr. Pan up to the wall by handcuffs, and continued to torture him for several days nonstop. He had not even recovered from the June tortures.

The 610 Office chief, Liu Jingbing, personally joined in on torturing Mr. Pan. One officer turned Mr. Pan's shirt up to cover his head, and then beat him very cruelly, instantly causing him to pass out. They poured cold water on him, saw that he was waking up, and then continued beating him. They force-fed him beer again, and left him under the baking sun and pouring rain. They shackled him, causing his ankles to be severely injured and swollen. The officers also used electric shock treatment on him by clipping electrodes onto his nipples and ears. He passed out many times due to being severely tortured, and was then awakened by cold water being poured on him. The officers even burnt his body by pressing hot metal flakes into him burned by a red-hot cigarette lighter.

One day Mr. Pan was forced to stand in the yard with both hands straight forward, palms facing up, and officers whipped his palms using a bamboo stick, while asking him questions. Another time officers forced Mr. Pan to walk in the yard with both hands handcuffed and ankle shackles on, and his feet were too swollen to wear shoes. When being beaten, Mr. Pan shouted, "Falun Dafa is good!" Liu Jingbing then pinched his eyes deeply to force him to stop shouting. Officers even beat Mr. Pan until he lost control of his bowels, but they still failed to obtain any information from him. He was then transferred back to the detention center.

Mr. Pan was on a protest hunger strike during the whole time of his detention. The guards brutally beat him, force-fed him, and encouraged regular prison inmates to beat him. They told the prisoners assigned to beat Mr. Pan to "use any means to make him eat, even beat him to death, as it is only a matter of paying his family several thousand yuan, and then we can just cremate him."

In order to cover up their torture of Mr. Pan, the detention center refused his family visitation rights. They said he had been sentenced to prison, and that they would get back to them in ten days, but they still refused to allow a visit after ten days. Mr. Pan's mother and older sister went to the court to request visitation, but Xu Songtao pushed them out by force. His mother was heartbroken and cried sadly.

Unimaginable Cruelty at Masanjia Forced Labor Camp

The 3rd Group of the 1st Branch of Masanjia Forced Labor Camp, established on September 29, 2008, was designed specifically for persecuting male Falun Gong practitioners. When the 3rd Group was first built, practitioners were transferred to that location from the 1st and the 2nd Branch to be "transformed" by force. Eventually more practitioners were transferred in from Jinzhou, Fushun, Anshan, Yingkou, and Huludao, and it now holds 102 practitioners. The camp's goal of a 100% "reform" rate means those in charge will resort to any tactic, however evil, so that they can completely "reform" the practitioners.

    1. 800,000-volt Electric Batons

Mr. Luo Chungui, a 55-year-old practitioner, shouted, "Falun Dafa is good" while he was being tortured. The guards used electric batons on his mouth. Within half an hour his mouth was swollen and all his teeth were loosened. That was not enough. The guards continued to shock his face and neck for over two hours. Mr. Luo still refused to be "reformed." The guards then forced him to stand with both hands handcuffed to the metal headboard of an upper bunk bed for three days. He could only rely on infusion because he could not eat anything. Three days later he could barely manage to consume porridge. His mouth was swollen for a month. Even now the color of his face, mouth and neck is still black.

Sixty-year-old Mr. Zhao Liankai also underwent electric baton shock. His mouth was swollen.

Mr. Yu Ming was tortured for his participation in an escape attempt on August 11, 2008. Once transferred to The 2nd Group of the 1st Branch, he was beaten and kicked and shocked with electric batons. He then was tied to a metal hallway door for several days. When in the 3rd Group, guards shocked him with electric batons in the guard office for 20 minutes. Then he was dragged to the front of the cell and shocked again. The guards forced him to admit to "mistakes." Later on, the guards made him crawl on the floor and shocked him from behind. He crawled on the 40-meter-long hallway floor from one end to the other, passing by seven cells. The guards followed him to shock him and then compelled him to crawl back...

Mr. Han Ximin was grossly abused by Production Team Leader Gao Hongchang prior to the establishment of the 3rd Group. Gao Hongchang shocked him with electric batons and forced him to work, although Mr. Han had a high fever for several days. Mr. Han was eventually diagnosed with pneumonia and had to pay 1,800 yuan in a clinic. (His family had mailed in 2,000 yuan right before that).

Six guards shocked Mr. Zheng Xujun, holder of a PhD from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, with electric batons for over an hour. Guard Li Meng then shocked him individually. Afterwards, Mr. Zheng was made to stand in the hall facing a wall. Other than eating or going to the bathroom, he had to stand all day and was forbidden to leave until midnight. He was compelled to get up at 5:20 a.m. and continue to stand the next day. This lasted for a week.

Electric shocks caused Mr. Sun Shuzhen's mental disorder. Others who were shocked included Mr. Deng Changquan, Meng Xianwu, and Zhao Jian.

    2. "Stretching Torture"

Mr. Cai Chao, 22 years old, was tied down and tortured on a "stretching bed." Mr. Cai had to stand by the headboard of a metal bunk bed facing the bed. His feet were tied to a beam 20 cm above the floor on one end of the bed. His thighs were against the headboard. His upper body was at a 90-degree angle, and he was handcuffed. A rope pulled the handcuffs toward the other end of the bunk bed, and then the rope was tied to the beam of the upper bed at the other end. The guards would watch the time as well as feel Mr. Cai's hands. If his hands became very cold, the guard would loosen the restraints (because when the hands are cold, there is less pain or the body becomes numb to the pain). Ten minutes later the guards would stretch him again. In the process guards also shocked his neck, hands, stomach, and back. They also stepped on the rope between the bed and his hands to increase the tension of the rope, thus increasing the pain. He was tortured three times (having the rope loosened and stretched again) for a total of about five hours. When Mr. Cai was let down, he could no longer raise his arms or stand straight up. It took him a month and a half to barely recover.

Mr. Li Hailong was also tortured on the stretching bed for three and a half hours. Two-and-a-half months later he still could not walk normally, his legs were very weak, and he could not bend his toes.

Other practitioners tortured on stretching bed were Mr. Xiao Zhongmin and Sun Hongkai. Mr. Xiao's hands are now weak, numb, and cold. The little finger on his right hand has no feeling. While torturing Mr. Sun Hongkai, the guards used a wooden stick to bend his knees backwards.

    3. More Cruel Torture

Mr. Cui Dejun was tortured even worse. Beginning at 5:00 p.m. he was tied on the stretching bed for over two hours, but he still did not give up his belief. The guards then forced him to stand with his back against the bed and his hands tied to both ends of the upper bed, in a cross-standing posture. His feet were tied together. He was closely monitored and not allowed to doze off. The next morning, section head Jing Hongbo recorded words cursing Falun Gong and Master Li on an MP3 player, turned the volume to the maximum, and had guard Jin Shan put a headset on Mr. Cui. They also shocked him with electric batons.

Mr. Cui's sleep deprivation lasted three days. He eventually started having hallucinations, hearing and seeing things not there, and his mind was affected. When he was let down after three days of this, he fell to the floor and could not stand up after three tries-he could not control his hands and feet at all.

The guards noticed he could not stand up, so they tied him onto the death bed. When he was finally able to stand up the fourth day, the guards resumed torturing him. He was made to stand on his left leg facing the bed and had to put his right leg on the edge of the upper bunk bed, so his legs were split apart. His hands were tied to either end of the bed, so he was stretched. After one and a half hours, they had him change leg positions and tortured him for another hour plus. Afterwards, his left leg could no longer support him. After a ten-minute break, the guards told some criminal inmates to split his legs and step on them, making him feel the splitting pain again from his numbed legs, which was more painful than the above-mentioned torture. Then they had him sit with his back against the bed and his hands pulled behind him and then pulled him up to the edge of the other side of the upper bed. His legs were split apart with his left toes pointing up and his right toes pointing down, then they tied his legs to the legs of the lower bed.

Guard Wang Hangyu then put an ashtray in front of Mr. Cui and lit some cigarette butts, left-over pipe tobacco, and paper right in front of his face so that his eyes watered. He also played the MP3 with curse words and shocked Mr. Cui with electric batons. After about an hour, Mr. Cui was let down, and the criminal inmates were told to hold his legs and step on them. The same torture was repeated with his right toes pointing up and his left toes pointing down. Because his upper body and hands were pulled up and stretched backwards, he couldn't move his upper body at all, so his backbone was twisted and his legs and feet were black and blue. After about an hour, he was let down and the criminals continued to hold and step on his legs. If the victim being subjected to this torture didn't give in at this point, the torture would continue. In Mr. Cui's case they did it over and over again-from 8:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. The outrageous abuse started again in the morning and torture lasted for eight days.

After nearly a month Mr. Cui Dejun's legs were still swollen, and he still could not walk normally. Those in charge were dissatisfied with Mr. Cui's answers during the year-end "evaluation," so they resumed torturing him on the stretching bed and with electric batons. Mr. Cui was deprived of sleep for six days. He was tortured a total of 16 days.

Mr. Sun Yi also suffered from the stretching torture and electric batons. He stood for over two months prior to the Chinese New Year. His legs were swollen and he was extremely weak. Even after he was reduced to skin and bones, the gross mistreatment and abuse continued.

These are only a few cases that I know of. The cruelty that takes place in Masanjia Forced Labor Camp is far beyond people's imagination. The Communist Party perpetrators there made an oath ledger at the labor camp, and forced everyone to swear the oath and sign it. They also had so-called "exams." Anyone who did not meet their requirements was tortured. At first, the victims were forced to walk on the drill ground with guards carrying electric batons and watching them. If they did not follow an order, the guards would shock them.

The guard leaders are Gao Hongchang, Jing Hongbo, and Yu Jiang. Guards Wang Hanyu, Jin Shan, Su Jufeng, and Li Meng are the hatchet men. Wang Yanmin often comes up with cruel ideas. He often shouted, "There are two death quotas here. Whoever would like to have one, I can give it to him!"
