Tianjin City Police Detain Ms. He Yana by Fabricating False Drug Charges

On March 9, 2009, when Ms. He Yana was clarifying the facts about Falun Gong on the way to her friend's home in Hexi District Tianjin City, she was arrested by local police. A dozen officers savagely took her and her two friends to Machang Police Station. They later transferred them to Hexi District Police Branch.

At Machang Police Station and Hexi District Police Branch, Ms. He was severely beaten, causing internal injuries, and she still has blood in her urine to this day. The police tried to force her to give up her belief in Falun Gong, but she refused.  Therefore, the police locked Ms. He up in the Rehabilitation Center of Ankang Hospital (a police hospital) and then brought false charges against her, saying that she was taking addictive drugs.

When Ms. He's family asked for evidence, the police couldn't provide any. Instead, they tried to extort the health examination fee from her family. He Yana's two friends, Guan Jing and Zhou Jie, were also persecuted for no reason. The police locked them up in the detention center of Hexi District Police Branch under the pretext that they were harboring drug addicts, but no drugs were found at her friends' home.

In 2001, He Yana was detained at Banqiao Forced Labor Camp in Dagang because she had committed a crime by taking a wrong step in life. When the persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party was at its peak, she was with Falun Gong practitioners from morning to night in the labor camp. She experienced the goodness of Falun Gong and started practicing in 2008. The change in her astounded many criminal inmates who were coerced by the CCP into participating in the abuse of Falun Gong practitioners.
