After years of mistreatment and a long hunger strike and forced feedings, Mr. Wei is near death.

Mr. Luo Guolong, around 60 years old, from Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, was arrested  in October 2009. His home was ransacked afterwards. Currently he is jailed at Shenbei New District Detention Center. This is the fourth time that Mr. Luo Guolong has been arrested and persecuted.

Mr. Wei Guanghua Is on the Verge of Death after Six Years of Imprisonment

Police arrested Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Wei Guanghua and unlawfully sentenced him to nine years imprisonment. Mr. Wei has been persecuted for over six years in prison and his life is in danger. He is nearly 6 foot tall, but weighs less than 90 lbs. He started a hunger strike to protest his persecution and it has lasted for fifteen months up to now. He suffers brutal forced feeding five to six time each day.

Dayingmen Police Station in Hexi District, Tianjin City arrested Mr. Wei on May 31, 2003. The police of Hexi Precinct locked him in an iron cage and brutally tortured him. On the day of trial, Wei Guanghua refused to appear in court, so police kicked and beat him, and dragged him to the police vehicle, causing multiple injuries.

After being detained in Hexi Precinct for 14 months beyond the legally prescribed time limit, Wei Guanghua was sentenced to nine years in prison. He was sent to the eighth ward in Liyuantou Prison in Tianjin City, where he suffers continuous persecution.

On June 22, 2007, because Wei Guanghua refused to participate in forced labor, policemen Wang Bin and Yang Bo confined him to a small, solitary cell. Both feet were locked to an iron ring and his hands were cuffed to shackles on the concrete floor. Every day he was interrogated. He was dragged for a distance of over 400 meters and then up to the fourth floor. His feet were in shackles weighing over 44 lbs. as he was dragged up and down the concrete stairs. Even the shackles were scraped and became shiny.

Because Wei Guanghua went on a hunger strike to resist the inhuman torture, he was brutally force-fed many times every day. For over 100 days of forced feeding, he had stomach convulsions and vomited. Long term exposure to vomit even bleached a large area of the concrete floor. After over 100 days of resistance, Tianjin Prison guards gave up trying to force him to do physical labor. He had been persecuted to the verge of death. He could not sit up, and was sent to Xinsheng Hospital.

When he was returned to prison, Wei Guanghua was nearly paralyzed. His right calf and sole were disabled, the muscles had atrophied, and he could only walk with the support of other inmates.

On June 60, 2008, Wei Guanghua and other detained Falun Gong practitioners were transferred to the ninth ward in Tianjin Guangbei Prison, the so-called 'strictly- controlled team,' without notifying his family members. Deprived the right to study Falun Gong books or do the exercises, Wei Guanghua went on a hunger strike again. Up to now it has lasted about 15 months. He suffers brutal forced feeding five to six time each day and has become very weak. He is emaciated and his life is in danger.

On October 24, 2009, Mr. Luo Guolong went to Shierjiazi Village, Xinglongtai Town, Shenyang City to clarify the truth of Falun Gong. He was arrested by the town police. PolicemenYang Lihui and Chen Ning went to Mr. Luo Guolong's home that evening around 8 o'clock. They searched his home with no warrant, and they confiscated two books and one DVD.

At Xinglongtai Police Station, Mr. Luo Guolong demanded an immediate release. However, the town claimed that the villagers had called to report him and that cases involving Falun Gong were to be handled by the Domestic Security Team of the District Police. Using these as excuses not to release him, the town police forcefully handed Mr. Luo Guolong over to the Precinct.

Mr. Luo is a farmer and resides at Ciyutuo Village, Yinjia Township, Shenbei New District. After starting the practice of Falun Gong in 1997, all of his illnesses disappeared. Mr. Luo Guolong worked hard to follow the teachings of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, and to think of others. His relatives, friends and neighbors said that he had become a good person after practicing Falun Gong.

However, for clarifying the truth of Falun Gong, he has been repeatedly persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party. He has been taken to a brainwashing center, detention center and forced labor camps. In 2001, Mr. Luo Guolong was falsely charged and sentenced to a forced labor camp for two years. In January 2007, Mr. Luo was sentenced to forced labor for one and a half years for talking to people about Falun Gong in Shuangshuzi Village in Laobian Township, Yuhong District. Now Mr. Luo has again been arrested for the same thing by the Shenbei New District Public Security Bureau in Shenyang City.

On January 10, 2007, Mr. Luo Guolong went to the neighboring Shuangshuzi Village, Laobian Township, Yuhong District, and spoke to people about the persecution door to door to the villagers. He was arrested by Yuhong District police. The police violently beat him using electric batons. In a little more than a month, the police repeatedly beat Mr. Luo and in doing so tore seven outfits of his. When they saw that the electric batons could not "transform" Mr. Luo, they instead used a pair of handcuffs, that weighed over 33 pounds, to handcuff him for 18 days. They very seldom gave him food. Eventually, Mr. Luo was sentenced to one and a half years, and was jailed at Shenxin Forced Labor Camp, where he was forced to do hard labor every day.

On August 1, 2007, Mr. Luo appealed to the Judicial staff to release him with no conditions. As a result, he was tortured by the guards, including Squadron Leader Wei Maojin, Camp Director Guan Feng, Group Captain Chen Qing and Squadron Leader Liu Feng. They used three electric batons to shock Mr. Luo on the head, which resulted in many burns on his face and head. Mr. Luo was severely injured both physically and mentally.
