On March 11, 2008, the police from Tingzhen Police Station and Laishui County 610 Office illegally arrested four Falun Gong practitioners in Gao Village and Dachitu Village. The police also ransacked their homes.

On that day at about 3:00 p.m., Laishui County 610 Office head Wang Fucai, Li Zhengong and several police officers from Shi Ting Town Police Station drove three police vehicles to Gao Village where they took away 70-year-old Ms. Yin Yuelan and elderly Ms. Wang Wenge.

Later, Wang Fucai and Li Zhengong went with others to Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Chang Zhengying's home in Gao Village. They smashed the door and pried open the lock. They confiscated a stereo worth over 300 yuan. They also ransacked the home of Chang Zhenying's father-in-law. Since the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started the persecution of Falun Gong, Chang Zhenying's home has been ransacked about 20 times.

On March 11, 2008 at around 6:00 p.m., Wang Fucai and Li Zhengong also ransacked Falun Gong practitioner Yang Xifang's home in Dachitu Village, Shi Ting Town. They stole some Falun Gong books and an MP4 player.

Prior to this, on February 27, 2008, police officer Dai Chunjie from Laishui County Police Department and several officials from Laishui County, Mingyi Township government and Mingyi Police Station ransacked the homes of Falun Gong practitioners Ms. Liu Zhiqin in Dongjiazhuang Village, Mingyi Township, Laishui County; Ms. Zhang Shufang in West Mingyi Township, and Ms. Li Zilan in Dongguanzhong Village.

The police confiscated a cell phone, a TV satellite receiver, a color TV, a VCD player and some Falun Gong books from practitioner Zhang Shufang's home in West Mingyi Township. They ransacked Li Zilan's home while nobody was at home, and also ransacked Liu Zhiqin's home, saying they did so because she often went out.
