    Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Xue Xinkai is from Dalian City, Liaoning Province. He was arrested on April 10, 2007, and detained in Yingkou City Prison. His family went to visit him on April 12 and April 25, but they were not allowed to see him because prison officials claimed, "he was not feeling guilty enough."

    On May 7, 2007, his family went to visit him for the third time, but they were refused again. They learned that Mr. Xue had vomited blood on April 14, 2007, and his condition was so poor that the doctor could not do an endoscopy to exam the source of his problem. After he was hospitalized for five days in Yingkou City Prison Hospital, he had an endoscopic exam done on April 20, 2007. The doctor found he had a duodenal ulcer and his stomach was bleeding. He is still being given medication and cannot eat normally. He is detained in the patient ward.

    On March 21, 2006, Dalian City National Security Group Head Song Yulong (male) and Deputy Head Dong Shiguo (male) led a group of agents to storm into Mr. Xue Xinkai's home and arrest him and his mother, Sun Shuyun, also a practitioner. They stole Mr. Xue's grandmother's 160 thousand yuan in cash and her camera. Dong Shiguo beat Ms. Sun Shuyun while he was interrogating her, caused her to have another heart attack.

    Between April 7 and 18, 2007, six Falun Gong practitioners, including Ms. Xu Jinying, Ms. Li Yinglan, Mr. Dai Zongqiu, Mr. Li Rendong, Ms. Tian Ruixia, and Ms. Shi Guilan from Anqiu, Weifang, Shandong Province, were illegally arrested by Li Shenghua, Li Zhixin, and other police officers. Currently, Ms. Tian is free as she escaped by using her righteous thoughts. Mr. Dai, Mr. Li, and Ms. Shi are still imprisoned and being persecuted. After Ms. Xu and Ms. Li were arrested by police officers Jing Zhi, Li Zhixin and others, they were taken to Wangcun Women's Forced Labor Camp and sentenced to one-and-a-half years of forced labor.

    Ms. Xu, 58, is from Jingzhi Town, Anqiu City, Weifang, Shandong Province. On the morning of April 7, 2007, when she was at home, around five police officers from Jingzhi, Anqiu, barged into her home without permission, arrested her, and confiscated her family's property. Afterwards she was taken to Wangcun Women's Forced Labor Camp and sentenced to a year and a half of forced labor by Li Zhixin and other police officers. Back in 2001, the local police took Ms. Xu to the forced labor camp twice and attempted to persecute her with forced labor, but they did not prevail.

    Ms. Li Yinglan, 56, is from Hebei Village, Jingzhi Town, Anqiu City, Weifang, Shandong Province. At around 9:00 a.m. on April 10, 2007, when she was at home, Li Shudong, Sheng Jianwen and several other officers from Jingzhi Police Station rushed into her home without permission to take her into custody. They confiscated her family property, and stole a tape player, tapes, books, and so on. They dragged Ms. Li into a police car and seized her husband, who is not a practitioner. After imprisoning them at the police station, they took Ms. Li's key and ransacked her home again. After that, Ms. Li was taken to Wangcun Women's Forced Labor Camp by police officer Li Zhixin, and sentenced to forced labor for one-and-a-half years.

    Ms. Shi Guilan, who is in her 50s, is a practitioner from Dongjizhuang Village, Hongshagou Town, Anqiu. In 2001, Ms. Shi was sentenced to forced labor for three years. On March 17, 2006, Ms. Shi was arrested at home by police and was imprisoned for one month. A member of her family was fined of a lot of money for her release. On April 17, 2007, she was arrested at home, and her family's property was confiscated. She was imprisoned in Anqiu City's jail.

    Mr. Dai Zongqiu, about 48 years old, is a practitioner from the north of Anqiu. In October 2000, he was sentenced to forced labor for three years. After his term was up, it was extended by nearly another six months by the officials at Changle Forced Labor Camp. At around 6:00 p.m. on April 18, 2007, he was arrested and his family property was confiscated by the chief of the Anqiu Municipal Police Station, Li Shenghua, who was leading seven to eight police officers. Falun Gong books, two cellphones and more than eight hundred yuan were taken.

    Mr. Li Rendong, in his 40s, is from Jiage, Anqiu. In July 2000, he was sentenced to forced labor for three years. On the evening of April 18, 2007, he was arrested and imprisoned.

    Ms. Tian Ruixia, in her 40s, is from Anqiu. On the evening of April 18, 2007, she was arrested by the police. She escaped later.
