  • Norway: Falun Gong Practitioners Protest Li Changchun for His Crimes in the Persecution of Falun Gong

    Practitioners warn Li Changchun that no one can evade their crimes in the persecution of Falun Gong

    Standing Committee Member of the Politburo of the Chinese Communist Party( CCP), former Secretary of the CCP Committee of Guangdong Province, Li Changchun ran into Falun Gong practitioners' protests during his visit to Norway from June 14 to 19, because of his crimes of torture in the persecution of Falun Gong. Aftenposten of Norway reported the protest under the title of "The Silent Protest of a CCP High Official".

    The report stated that Li Changchun came to visit secretly. To Falun Gong practitioners, Li Changchun is a hateful person. Practitioners indicated that when Li was in his former position, he had issued orders to arrest practitioners, and gave orders to have them tortured.

    The article said that, to those protectors of freedom of speech and information , Li is responsible for the Chinese Communist regime's Internet blockade.

    Outside of the Prime Minister's office of Norway, practitioners were protesting. The spokesman of Falun Gong in Norway, Peder Giertsen said: "Our banners bring up the request to stop the persecution of Falun Gong, and warn Li Changchun that he cannot get away with his crimes in the persecution of Falun Gong."

    Peder also extended his thanks to the Norwegian police for making those people leave who held up banners in front of the practitioners. Those people came in on buses rented by the Chinese Embassy.
