On June 15, leaders from 25 European Union countries were assembled in Brussels to have a two-day long peak meeting. Falun Gong practitioners from France, Belgium and Holland held activities in front of the European Parliament building to call upon the European Union for help to stop the CCP's harvesting organs from live Falun Gong practitioners and rescue Falun Gong practitioner Cao Dong, who disappeared after meeting with the vice president of the European Parliament, Mr. Edward McMillan-Scott. It is believed that Cao Dong was arrested by the CCP and is in a very dangerous situation.

Practitioners re-enacted the CCP's harvesting organs from live Falun Gong practitioners for profit. Practitioners also re-enacted the tortures of the "iron cage" and tiger bench, which the CCP's policemen often apply to Falun Gong practitioners. At the activity, practitioners displayed a lot of pictures and explanations to show the tortures that the CCP applies to practitioners in China. Practitioners also broadcast in French and English the eye-witness accounts of the CCP's harvesting organs from live Falun Gong practitioners. They also broadcast investigation reports, including the vice president of the European Parliament, Mr. Edward McMillan-Scott's investigation of persecution of Falun Gong practitioners from Beijing.
Some practitioners demonstrated the exercises. The whole activity was peaceful and orderly. Many attendees of the EU meeting and passersby stopped at the activity to listen and learn the truth of Falun Gong and the persecution. One lady, who couldn't believe what she read and heard, asked practitioners: "This is just a show, not real, right?" When practitioners told her that everything being re-enacted here is real in China, and has lasted for seven years, she was shocked and said that this crime must be stopped. Some passersby asked practitioners when they would hold the next activity.
On Sunday the 11th of June, Scottish Falun Gong practitioners set up a stall at the Glasgow West End Festival. The festival is held every year in the West End of Glasgow and is considered a family fun day. The stall featured a petition table for people to sign their names calling for an end to the persecution of Falun Gong and a table where practitioners taught people how to fold paper lotus flowers, which was popular with the children.
At around 12:00 pm the streets of Glasgow started to fill up with crowds of people. Although it was very noisy, the beautiful sound of Falun Gong music was not drowned out by the noise. Several practitioners were demonstrating the five sets of Falun Gong exercises and before long a crowd of people had stopped to watch. The expressions on their faces were very peaceful and interested. This gave practitioners the opportunity to talk to these people and tell them more about Falun Gong and the persecution waged against the practice the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for the last seven years. One elderly man said, "I can feel a very strong energy field coming from the exercises".
Over the course of the entire day, 450 people signed the petition to stop the Chinese Communist Party's practice of harvesting living Falun Gong practitioners' internal organs for profit before cremating their bodies. Around 4,000 leaflets were also handed out exposing this persecution. Many Glasgow people with a sense of justice and conscience were appalled by the facts of the persecution. One woman was so moved that she returned half an hour later with her family members who also signed the petition.

One Chinese lady stood and watched the exercise demonstration. She told the practitioners: "I lived in China and have never heard about any of this". One Western practitioner talked to her and explained about the CCP's propaganda and media control. At the end the lady took some materials away to read at home.
One practitioner sat at a small table teaching the children and families how to make paper lotus flowers. While making the flowers the children had the opportunity to hear about Dafa and the persecution in China. Many of the children were very happy to receive the little flowers. One small girl in particular was delighted and her face lit up when we gave her a lotus flower, she promised to keep it safe. A woman and her daughter signed the petition after making a lotus flower. Later on they returned with the rest of the family who also signed the petition.
