Hao Fukui, an elderly practitioner from Jilin Province, has been persecuted for the past 9 months and his life is now in danger. His family members, Hao Yaofeng, Liu Mingwei and Mu Chunmei, went to visit him on March 1, and were detained by the police. They were all sentenced to two years of forced labor. Police from Wucaicheng Police Station in Development District, Dalian City, Liaoning Province, sent them to Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. On learning of this, their family members tried every way possible to rescue them. During the process, they met with harassment, verbal abuse and the vicious threats from all branches of the government and the police force.

On May 20, 2005, at 6 a.m., practitioner Hao Fukui, who was almost seventy years old, was taken from his home by a score of people from the local police department and the 610 Office and put in Development District Jail in Dalian City. After 9 months of persecution, he suffered symptoms of a stroke and is close to dying. He was sent to the Third Hospital in Development District in Dalian on February 27, 2006.

After learning about his situation, Hao's family members became extremely worried. Traveling overnight on March 1, they rushed to the hospital to visit him. In the process, a family member had a dispute with the police. Not only did the police put Hao back in jail, they also arrested and detained in Yaojia Jail three of his family members: Hao Yaofeng, Liu Mingwei, and Mu Chunmei.

On March 28, 2006, police officers Chen Zhiqiang and Sun Chenggang from Wucaicheng Police Station, and Liu Dong and Zhang Lijun from the judiciary section in Development District Police Department, took the practitioners to Masanjia Forced Labor Camp after sentencing them to two years of forced labor. The police did not even inform their family members during this whole process.

Hao Yaofeng, Liu Mingwei and Mu Chunmei's family members became deeply worried after the three were abducted. They tried all of their connections to find out what had happened to them, and finally received some information after waiting two weeks. They went to the Development District Police Department, but people there in the political and security department would not give them any explanation and only kept delaying, making excuses, or avoiding the family members.

Finally under their repeated requests, Xu Yungang from the political and security department said, "We have reported them to our higher authorities and we are going to send them to the forced labor camp. They will be sent in a few days." The family members asked for the reason and Xu said, "They were found to have Falun Gong propaganda materials on them." The next day when the family members went again, Xu said: "They had Falun Gong propaganda equipment."

The third day, Xu said, "They disrupted the order of society." He changed his allegations three times over three days, basically accusing the practitioners of any offense he could think of.

On March 27, some family members went to the district police department at around 8 a.m. Police Chief Liu Wei refused to see them or answer the phone.

On March 28 and 29, the family members went twice to the district police department to see Xu Yungang. The guards tried to call him, but no one answered. The family members waited for a long time. They tried to go upstairs to look for him directly, but were blocked by the guard.

At 9 a.m. on March 30, the family members went to Wucaicheng Police Station and told the police there about the situation. In the afternoon, they went to the Judiciary Section of Development District Police Department and asked them why they had not been informed when their family members were sent away to a forced labor camp. A policeman named Liu Dong said: "We had the papers from the judiciary section of the police department and it did not require us to inform family members."

The family members got the paper showing the delivery of "personnel" to forced labor from him. A policeman named Zhang Lijun, who also participated in the delivery of the practitioners to Masanjia Forced Labor Camp said, "The first day the labor camp refused to take them. Liu Mingwei and Mu Chunmei kept calling out 'Falun Dafa is good.' They told me a lot of the facts about Falun Gong. They said that only without the Chinese Communist party can there be a new China. Hao Yaofeng also sang a Falun Gong song. He sang really well. None of us tried to stop him."

At this time, Zhang was stopped by Liu Dong. The family members took the opportunity to tell the police officials about Sujiatun Death Camp. Liu Dong said: "I can have you arrested if you keep saying these things here." The family members were not intimidated and kept talking about the facts of Falun Gong.

During recent years, Falun Gong practitioner Du Guihua and her family have been constantly persecuted by the policemen from Jiefang Road Police Station of Gongnong Police Branch of Hegang City Police Department.

Her second sister, Du Guilan, was tortured to death; her little sister Du Guijie is still illegally detained in Harbin Women's Prison; a happy family was broken apart by the CCP. Furthermore, the police have also stolen savings of 5,000 yuan that she had earmarked for her child to go to school.

In the night of February 27, 2006, seven police arrested Du Guihua and her guest, practitioner Yin Haizhu (who came from Jiamusi), at Du's home. The police searched her house and grabbed 5,000 yuan that was prepared for her child's schooling. They sent the two practitioners to the Second Detention Center. The case was then transferred to Gongnong Police Branch National Security Group.

During detention, Du Guihua developed serious medical symptoms. In order to shirk potential responsibility, the police carried her home after several days. However, four policemen were instructed to stay at her house, attempting to arrest other Falun Gong practitioners who might come to visit her. Du Guihua kept clarifying the truth to the policemen. Local practitioners exposed what was happening to the public. As a result, the policemen left Du Guihua's house after one week.

On April 28, 2006, during her recovery, Du Guihua was summoned to the Gongnong Police Branch National Security Group. Policeman Ji Jianjun tried to persuade Du Guihua to admit that practitioner Yin Haizhu was the organizer of a Falun Gong practitioners' experience sharing conference held in Hegang City on September 7, 2005. Du Guihua resisted and was suddenly unconscious. Seeing this, Ji Jianjun had to find Du Guihua's husband to carry her home.

Due to the constant harassment and persecution in the past several years, Du Guihua's whole family was devastated. Their normal life was severely affected and the family was in a more and more difficult financial situation. Du Guihua and her family had gone to the Police Station and Gongnong Police Branch many times requesting the return of the 5,000 yuan, but the policemen were always buck-passing; especially policeman Wang Jiazhu, who firmly refused to give back the money.

Du Guihua is kind and sincere. Her neighbors consider her a good person. However, Du Guihua and her sisters have been persecuted by the CCP for practicing Falun Gong.

Her second oldest sister, Du Guilan, was tortured to death; her little sister, Du Guijie, is still detained in Harbin Women's Prison. Thus, a happy family was broken apart.

Yang Xiaojie from Shijiazhuang city, Hebei province had practiced Falun Gong for many years. Through the practice, he had benefited both physically and spiritually. Knowing that Falun Gong is wonderful and does not harm any person or country, he decided to step forth to say a fair word for Falun Gong so that more people would know the truth about the persecution. However, he consequently was sentenced to eleven years in prison. In 2003, he was detained at Shijiazhuang Beijiao prison (also named Hebei Province Fourth Prison).

In prison, police used all means trying to force him to give up his belief, conscience, and basic principles as a human being. They forced him to write various statements to denounce Falun Gong, to watch videos attacking Falun Gong and to do intense labor. If he refused, he would be beaten, physically punished, or put into solitary confinement.

The solitary confinement cell is narrow and damp. Yang Xiaojie was handcuffed, chained, and locked up there for fifteen days. In order to prevent him from practicing the exercises, they arranged for four inmates to watch him, two during the day and another two at night. They would immediately stop him or even beat him up if he attempted to practice. The most cruel among them was Fan Hongshan. He repeatedly insulted and beat up Yang Xiaojie. Yang once appealed to the prison in written form, yet it was ignored. In fact, the authorities had instigated the inmates, and even rewarded them by shortening their terms. Thus, some inmates became tools of the perpetrators.

The prison's department of education found out that Yang Xiaojie had written many letters exposing prison crimes. The letters were carried out of the prison and the crimes published on the Minghui website. As a result, prison officials confiscated all pens and paper from the practitioners and prohibited them from talking to others or meeting their families. They even incited other inmates to keep a distance from practitioners.

They did not allow Yang Xiaojie to join the activities downstairs, appeal, join any large-scale activities in prison, read books or newspapers, or even write. If needed, he had to get permission from the department of education to write a letter to his family with someone watching over him. The letter was only sent if its content met their criteria.

In June 2004, the prison organized inmates to watch videos attacking Falun Gong. Yang Xiaojie refused to watch. The prison authorities ordered inmates to drag him into solitary confinement for the second time. To protest such physical and mental torture, Yang Xiaojie and Ge Zhijun, another practitioner put into solitary confinement that day, went on a hunger strike. One day later, prison officials force-fed them with milk mixed with a high concentration of salt. After failing to insert stomach tubing several times, they changed to a thicker tubing. Several strong men force-fed them. Due to the harsh treatment, Yang Xiaojie had stomach bleeding and vomited blood.

Fearing that they would die from force-feeding, police started other softer methods to make them eat. However, they never recovered after that. They quickly became emaciated. The food was terrible, far below the standard. Due to long-term torture combined with severe malnutrition, Yang Xiaojie, who used to be a strong man weighing 50 to 100 kilogram, became skin and bones. As of spring 2005, he weighed way less than 50 kilogram and was extremely weak, yet the prison still required him to do manual labor. His family came to visit him many times but was turned away, preventing them from learning about his condition.

Later, prison chief Liu Ning was afraid to be held responsible and took Yang Xianjie to the prison hospital for a physical exam. However, the result was said to be just kidney malfunction, and a torn back muscle. In fact, Yang Xiaojie was already extremely weak and even had difficulty walking. Police had no other choice but to keep him in prison without doing manual labor. In the following several months, they did not give him medical treatment nor notify his family. Yang Xiaojie was unable to care for himself and had difficulty in getting out of bed. He was emaciated, ate very little, and lay in bed all day.

It was not until the end of December 2005 that Yang Xiaojie, then on the verge of death, was sent to the prison hospital. Three days later, he was sent to a hospital outside of the prison. However, they hid the results. Two days later they asked his family to take him home on bail for medical treatment.

Yang Xiaojie was hospitalized on December 22, 2005 and released on bail on December 28. Usually the procedure for setting up bail for medical treatment takes far more than two days. The prison knew that he was in critical condition. Therefore they quickly pushed the burden on his family. Yang Xiaojie passed away before the Chinese New Year. Such a strong young man was tortured to death.

List of villains in Tanghai County's Fifth Farm:

Zhang Jisheng (male), Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Secretary of Tanghai County Fifth Farm, and Li Xun, CCP Deputy Secretary of Tanghai County Fifth Farm. They have actively followed Jiang's persecution policies, planned close monitoring, and followed Falun Gong practitioners. Between July 20, 1999 and March 2006, more than twenty practitioners were arrested, detained, and sent to forced labor camps under their direct orders.

1. [Heilongjiang Province] Qiqihar City Police Frenziedly Arrest Falun Gong Practitioners

The mayor of Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province, Yang Xin, signed an agreement with the Ministry of Public Security to persecute Falun Gong on March 20. Yang Xin immediately issued the quota to the police department. The police vehicles were busy running at night and the surveillance vehicles patrolled and kept surveillance every day. Now it is very difficult to get access to the internet, and many material centers are having difficulties connecting to the internet.

On March 29,  Tiefeng District Police Department in Qiqihar city arrested forty-nine practitioners, and confiscated four laptops, fifteen desktops, twelve printers, two DVD burners, five cell phones and over fifty thousand copies of materials (this news appeared in the Hecheng Evening News on April 26). Currently several material centers were destroyed. It is said that they would focus on the countryside next time.

2. [Cangzhou City, Hebei Province] Mr. Wang Jiasheng Has Been on a Hunger Strike for One Month and Is in a Weakened Condition

Mr. Wang Jiasheng, a practitioner from Cangzhou City, has been on hunger strike for one month. The pipe used to force-feed him is still in his stomach. Mr. Wang Jiasheng has become very weak Liu Kanhua from Yunhe Police Department disallowed his family to visit him.

Currently Mr. Wang Jiasheng is still being jailed in the 1st Detention Center. The Center has reported to Liu Kanhua that Mr. Wang Jiasheng was very weak, and is not fit for jail. However Liu Kanhua totally ignores this and intends to sentence him to forced labor.

Also, a practitioner named Liu Tonghai is still being jailed in the 2nd Detention Center.

3. [Songyuan City, Jilin Province] Mr. Wang Jinxin and Ms. Guo Xiaoxia Arrested and Sentenced to Forced Labor

In mid April, Mr. Wang Jingxin and Ms. Guo Xiaoxia from Songyuan City were arrested. Mr. Wang Jingxin was sentenced to forced labor and is currently being jailed at Jiutai Labor Camp in Jilin Province. The situation of Ms. Guo Xiaoxia is unknown.

Mr. Wang Jingxin and Ms. Guo Xiaoxia have been persecuted since July 1999, and forced to become homeless to this today.

4. [Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Liu Wei Tortured at Hulan Jail

Mr. Liu Wei was arrested by the Shangzhi City Police Department on November 3, 2002 for rescuing a female fellow practitioner when they were giving out truth-clarifying materials. In the evening on the same day, he managed to escape from the Police Department. On January 16, 2003, he was arrested after being deceived into going to the Police Department by the A'cheng Police Substation; he was jailed at A'cheng No 1. Detention Center. He was later transferred to Shangzi Detention Center before he was sentenced to seven years and jailed at Hulan Jail in Heilongjiang Province.

In 2005, when his wife visited him, he had been badly beaten and his two front teeth were broken. When his wife questioned instructor Zhang Xuehui about this, he said flippantly: "(I) don't know." In April and June 2005 and February 2006, when Li Wei's wife went to the jail, they would not allow her to see him.

5. [Shandong Province] Ms. Wei Shuying, Employee from Xianhe Oil Extraction Factory, Shengli Oil Field, Is Being Forced to Undergo Brainwashing

Ms. Wei Shuying, an employee of the Xianhe Oil Extraction Factory, Shengli Oil Factory, is currently being detained at the brainwashing class of the Shengli Oil Field, after being arrested from her workplace by the Xianhe Security Section on April 12, 2006. The brainwashing class is located on the 4^th floor of the students' dormitory in the training school of the company.

6. [Dunhua City, Jilin Province] Mr. Shi Guojun and Several Other Practitioners Arrested

During April 24 to 27, 2006, the Danjiang Street Police Station of the Dunhua City, Yanbian District arrested about eighteen practitioners including Shi Guojun and Ms. Li Yanbo. A material center was destroyed.

7. [Laishui County, Hebei Province] Several Practitioners Including Ms. Yan Zhongqin Arrested

On April 13, 2006, an over-70-year-old practitioner named Ms. Yan Zhongqin from Shiting Town was arrested at a cafeteria by the police from Beijing city. Around April 20, the Beijing police searched her home and confiscated her truth-clarifying materials and videos.

On April 29, 2006, Mr. Yan Yong from Shiting Town, Laishui County was arrested by the heads of the Laishui County 610 Office namely Wang Fucai, Li Zhengong and Zhang Weibin. At the same, Yan Jun's wife was also arrested. Copying machines and the truth-clarifying materials were confiscated.

Ms. Xin Wenyan, a practitioner from Minyi Village, Laishui County was arrested around April 20, 2006, and her copying machine was confiscated.

Liu Yonghua, from Minyi Village, Laishui County, who was arrested on April 2, 2006, was released twenty days later after the police extorted five thousand yuan from him. He is now hospitalized after being released because his life is in great danger.

8 [Yunfu, Guangdong Province] Ruan Guihuan's Appeal for Justice Rejected

A practitioner named Ruan Guihuan, from Yunfu, was arrested on September 29, 2005. On February 16, 2006, he was secretly and illegally tried. On March 7, he was sentenced to three years. He filed the appeal to the City Intermediate Court. The City Intermediate Court had a secret trial for him and subsequently made the decision to keep the original three years' sentencing.

9. [Beijing City] Ms. Yang Meiling Arrested and Her Home Searched

On the evening of April 29, 2006, Ms. Yang Meiling from Xuanwu District was arrested for giving out the truth-clarifying material. On the next day, her home was searched. Currently it is unknown where Ms. Yang Meiling is being detained.

10. [Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Gongjiawan Jail Cover Up Their Crimes of Persecuting Falun Gong

On April 30, it was disclosed by a person who knows the situation in Gongjaiwan Jail, Lanzhou City, Gansu Province: "There is a management of over one hundred and sixty people at the Gongjaiwan Jail in Lanzhou City. The people jailed there were all female Falun Gong practitioners, and the number of female Falun Gong practitioners jailed there was around 2000." Also it was disclosed that: "It was passed from the supervisors that the employees' family and relatives are not allowed to practice Falun Gong. Whenever it is found, this employee will be fired right away. Last year, an employee was fired because his/her mom practices Falun Gong.

11. [Puyang City, Henan Province] Ms. Tian Ge Arrested at Home

At around 7 p.m. or 8 p.m. on April 26, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Tian Ge was doing housework at home, and her husband was watching TV. He heard Ms. Tian Ge crying out but he did not pay attention to it at the moment. After a while he stepped out of the room and found Ms. Tian Ge had disappeared. Her whereabouts have been unknown since then.

12. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Four Practitioners Arrested Recently

A policeman named Yu Guohui from Tiedong Police Station, Shulan city, in collusion with Li Jiazhe from the National Security Group, arrested Ms. Liu Dongmei who was working on April 19 and Li Yajie who was doing housework at home on April 24.

Feng Guang Police Substation of Shulan Police Department arrested Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Liu Chunyu who was doing business on April 19.

Fate Town Police Substation of Shulan City Police Department arrested Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Liu Lifen on April 27.

Right now these four practitioners are detained in Nanshan Detention Center, Shulan City.

13. [Beijing] Ms. Jia Yanru Arrested

Ms. Jia Yanru who lives at Xuanwu District, Beijing, was arrested in mid April. Jia Yanru was released last May from Beijing Women's Jail.

14. [Chengdu, Sichuan Province] Falun Gong Practitioner Ms. Deng Guifang Arrested

A retired employee of Zhao Town Hotel, Jintang County, Chengdu City, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Deng Guifang was arrested while distributing truth-clarifying materials on April 28 by seven or eight policemen. Her current whereabouts are not known. Police went to search her home later.

15. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Two Falun Gong Practitioners Ms. Yu Zhongping and Ms. Wang Guizhi Arrested

In early April, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Yu Zhongping and Ms. Wang Guizhi (70 years old) were reported when they were clarifying the truth. They were arrested and sent to Etouwan Brainwashing Class by Hanshui Street Police Substation. Ms. Yu Zhongping resisted the persecution by going on a hunger strike. She suffered from being beaten and forced fed, and was stomped on by policemen. Her family spent two thousand yuan to get her out of the brainwashing class. However she was later forcibly taken to the Wuhan Mental Hospital to be further persecuted.

16. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Falun Gong Practitioner Mr. Xu Guoqing Sentenced to Two Years of Imprisonment; His Wife Arrested

Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Xu Guoqing was sentenced to two years of jail by Wuhan Intermediate Court (No lawyer defended him and the court did not notify his family). Later he was detained in Qinduankou Jail, Hanyang, Wuhan City.

On April 24, 2006 his wife tried to find his whereabouts.

On April 26, at the home of Xu Guoqing, dozens of policemen arrested his wife Ms. Xiao Qi, confiscating their Falun Gong books, three thousand yuan for their living expenditures, their daughter's computer (worth seven thousand yuan). Thus leaving behind a little girl crying at home.

17. [Inner Mongolia] Latest Version of the "Commonly-Used Idioms Dictionary" Has Content Defaming Master

In the "Commonly-Used Idioms Dictionary" by the "Inner Mongolia People's Publisher", there is sentence that defames Master Li.

The author of the dictionary is: Zheng Gang and the responsible editor is Wang Shixi.

18. [Shanxi Province] Falun Gong Practitioner Ms. Wang Yanchun Arrested Again

Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Wang Yanchun from Yanbian City, Shanxi Province was detained for fifteen days in 1999 for appealing Falun Gong. She was sent to a labor camp in 2002 for two years. On April 22, 2006, the Political and Judicial Committee at the provincial, prefecture and the local district level all went to visit her and bought her fruit (it was actually a new round of persecution) when they found Ms Wang Yanchun in her workplace. On the evening on April 23, policemen named Zhu Jicheng and Wang Jiahui broke into Wang's house and arrested her, taking away her Falun Gong books.

19. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong province] Falun Gong Practitioner Mr. Luo Laisong Arrested

Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Luo Laisong from Shenzhen City was arrested on April 5, 2006, and was detained in the Futian Detention Center, Shenzhen City. His wife also left her company. They have a five-year-old child.

20. [Xiamen City, Fujian Province] Ms. Zhang Guizhi Detained in No. 1 Detention Center

Ms. Zhang Guizhi from Xiamen City was arrested on March 22, 2006, by the Huli District Police Substation and detained in the Xiamen No. 1 Detention Center.

21. [Chongqing City] Falun Gong Practitioner Ms. Qi Songlin Arrested

Ms. Qi Songling from Chang'an Factory, Chongqing was arrested (around April 25) when she was clarifying the truth. On the evening of April 27, some people saw several police cars go to her house. They suspected that her house was searched.

22. [Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province] Zhang Jilin Arrested

Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Zhang Jilin from Hangzhou city was arrested in the end of April when he was drinking tea with his daughter at Linyin Tea House. At that moment he was clarifying the truth to people, then he was arrested and his home was searched.

23. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Falun Gong Practitioner Mr. Liu Yu Is Still in Detention

Shenzhen Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Liu Yu and Mr. Sun Jiefeng were arrested in the morning on March 30 2005. It has been over fourteen months. Mr. Sun Jiefeng was released on January 23 2006. However, Mr. Liu Yu is still detained and persecuted. During the fourteen months, Mr. Liu Yu has had two illegal court trials.

24. [Leshan City, Sichuan Province] Falun Gong Practitioner Ms. Gong Xingcan and Zeng Jun Arrested

Ms. Gong Xingcan and Zeng Jun were arrested on April 26 when they returned from Leshan to Deyang.

It is said according to insiders that: Ms. Gong Xingcan had ten thousand yuan cash with her and it had been confiscated. Ms. Gong Xingcan was detained and persecuted in Nanmusi Women's Prison since November 2005; she jumped from the fourth floor, and was bailed out for treatment after she was seriously injured. Now she has recovered through practicing Falun Gong.

Zeng Jun is doing business and has a store. Now the store has been closed by ruthless officials and no body is taking care of the store.

At present the two persons are still in Leshan and their situation is not known.

25. [Deyang City, Sichuan Province] Luo Shijun and His Wife Were Sentenced

Mr. Luo Shijun was sentenced to seven years of jail and detained in the Deyang Jail. Ms. Wang Aiyun was sentenced to four years of jail and was detained in Chuanxi Women's Jail.
