  • New York City: Efforts to Expose the Atrocities of the CCP Continue

On April 5th, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners held a press conference in front of New York's City Hall to expose the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP's) inhumane atrocities of harvesting organs from living practitioners in concentration camps. On the following day, practitioners continued their truth-clarifying efforts outside City Hall to raise awareness of these atrocities.

Practitioners held up posters and banners to show the public the brutality of the persecution. A banner reading, "Over 6,000 Falun Gong practitioners detained in Sujiatun, China, 2/3 have been killed and organs were removed from living practitioners for profit," caught the attention of many people.

Passers-by were shocked by the cruel inhumanity revealed in the posters and banners. Many people accepted the practitioners' truth-clarifying materials, and others stopped to ask for details. While some found it very hard to believe that such brutal things have happened, many said that the atrocities were simply horrible and hoped that President Bush and other officials would take immediate actions to stop the killing. In addition, some people said that they would keep practitioners in their prayers. There were also significant numbers of people who asked what they could do to help.

In the meantime, at Grand Central subway station, the exhibition, "Help Stop the Chinese Communist Regime's New Massacre" is going on every day. Many people have shown their support, and encouraged practitioners to persist. Some people criticized the mainstream media's silence and pointed out that the media would regret their current conduct.

The research of the World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (WOIPFG) has confirmed that, in the three weeks after the exposure of the Sujiatun Concentration Camp to the international community in March 2006, the camp has been transferred to unknown location(s). Meanwhile, some hospitals and organ transplantation centers in Mainland China are rushing to perform a large number of transplant operations -- it is apparent that a massacre to destroy victims and witnesses is happening. The Chinese Communist regime hastily published the "Interim Regulation for Human Organ Transplant Practice," however, the regulation will not take effect until July 1, 2006, allocating enough time to destroy all evidence of the crimes of illegal organ harvesting.

All investigation has confirmed that hospitals and transplant centers in Heilongjiang, Liaoning, Jilin, Beijing, Tianjin, Henan, Hebei, Hubei and Wuhan City, Hunan, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Yunnan, Anhui, Shan'xi and Xinjiang are operating overtime to perform transplant operations. Hospital staff members told undercover investigators that patients should come in quickly if he or she wants a transplant, as they can find matching organs in as short as one or two days and it will be difficult after this batch of organs is used up.

Moreover, WOIPFG investigation confirmed that the Chinese Communist regime has set up concentration camps all over the country, similar to the one in Sujiatun. The camps are suspected to specialize in detaining and secretly killing people who are steadfast in their belief in Falun Gong. The camps harvest organs from living Falun Gong practitioners for transplant. The sudden recent increase of organ supply in China is not an individual situation, but is widespread throughout the country. The Chinese Communist regime is suspected to destroy the bodily remains after organ harvesting, to wipe out the evidence. WOIPFG thus believes that the slaughter of Falun Gong practitioners detained in the camps is taking place at an unusually high rate!

The Communist regime has been persecuting Falun Gong for nearly seven years. All their brutal persecutory tricks have been carried out to the extreme. The exposing of the concentration camp only revealed a corner behind the curtain of the persecution. To get more facts of the persecution and to stop the crimes as soon as possible, "The Integrated Committee to Investigate the Secret Sujiatun Concentration Camp and the Facts of the Persecution of Falun Gong in China" was established on April 4, 2006. The committee will conduct a thorough investigation of the crimes of the Chinese Communist regime committed in the persecution of Falun Gong.

Practitioner A'zhen said, "We come here today to call on all conscientious people. We hope that everybody can see the enormous crimes that the Chinese Communist regime is committing."

A'zhen continued, "Starting with each person, we hope that everyone will take actions to help us end the ongoing slaughter."

Geneva, Switzerland: Grand Parade Supporting the Withdrawals from the CCP and Exposing the Sujiatun Atrocities

"Quit the CCP, Quit the CCP and Quit the CCP quickly!" The slogan in Chinese, English and French echoed through the streets from the Geneva city center to the United Nations Square. On April 4th, 2006, over five hundred people from many countries joined a rally organized by the European Epoch Times newspaper, protesting against atrocities in the Sujiatun Concentration Camp set up by the Chinese Communist regime and supporting over nine million people who have quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations. Many Falun Gong practitioners joined this demonstration to expose the Chinese Communist regime's brutal persecution of Falun Gong.

According to information from the latest witness, the Sujiatun Concentration Camp in Shenyang City is one of thirty-six secret concentration camps built by the Chinese Communist regime. In the Sujiatun Concentration Camp, the Chinese Communist regime has detained thousands of Falun Gong practitioners, removing their organs for commercial profits while they are still alive and then cremating their bodies to destroy the evidence.

The parade marched along the bank of Lake Geneva, through the busiest business district, the grand fountain (Jet d'Eau) and finally arrived at the United Nations Geneva office, the Palais des Nations, where a press conference was held.

The most eye-catching sections of the parade were ten life-sized sculptural groups at the front of the procession. The sculptures displayed the crimes of the CCP described in the "Nine Commentaries on Communist Party", including torture methods used by the Chinese Communist regime against Falun Gong practitioners. Many passersby stopped to see the sculptures and pictures in the parade showing the torture and the banners calling for the immediate end to the persecution and killing as well as supporting the withdrawals from the Chinese Communist Party.

At the Palais des Nations, a reporter interviewed Mr. Zhu, a Falun Gong practitioner from the United Kingdom. Mr. Zhu works for a local government agency. He used his vacation time and his own money to come join this activity in Geneva where the United Nations' Human Rights Commission is located. He said to the reporter, "The atrocities committed in the Sujiatun Concentration Camp are an insult and threat to the whole of humanity. As a Faun Gong practitioner, I witnessed the persecution in China for so long and I think I have the responsibility to expose the evil nature of the Chinese Communist regime. For seven years, the Chinese Communist regime has carried out an unprecedented and most inhuman genocide against Falun Gong practitioners who believe in 'Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance.' Especially facing the atrocities in the Sujiatun Concentration Camp, any person with a conscience and a sense of justice cannot just ignore it. Silence is not neutral. Turning a blind eye on the Chinese Communist regime's evil action is to allow the Chinese Communist regime to rampantly destroy the foundation of humanity, human conscience and morality. The madness of the Chinese Communist regime will surely lead to its destruction!"

In the procession was a fourteen-year-old Falun Gong practitioner. She said that she especially took some days off to participate in this demonstration.

A Falun Gong practitioner from France said, "I was born in Cambodia and was educated to love the Communist Party. We all know that the Chinese Communist Party was the master of the Khmer Rouge regime. The Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party is such a precious document. It can help one to look through [the lies] to the real face of the Chinese Communists." He said, "When I first read it, I cried. Only if the Chinese Communist regime is abolished, can Chinese people and people around the world truly have a good life. Through media propaganda, economic interest and foreign relations, the Chinese Communist regime has deceived the whole world. Some people assisted the regime after being deceived. I hope they have an opportunity to learn the truth. Many overseas Chinese are poisoned by the Chinese Communist regime's propaganda. The regime takes advantage of the overseas Chinese people's attachment to China and fills them with lies."

A young tourist from Canada was very shocked after learning about the atrocities committed by the Chinese Communist regime in the Sujiatun Concentration Camp. He said, "The fact that Falun Gong practitioners are detained and their organs are removed because of their belief is not acceptable and such action should be condemned by everyone. I wish you good luck."

A tourist from Italy said, "I sincerely hope the Chinese people will discard the Chinese Communist regime. We have succeeded. I wish you luck. I sincerely hope you will succeed."

An elderly lady from Serbia told the reporter, "Please have this kind of activity every day; you should let more people see and learn about what is happening in China."

Finland: Protesting against the Persecution of Falun Gong and Supporting the Nine Million Withdrawals from the CCP

On March 25th, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners and volunteers from the Epoch Times newspaper held activities near the Helsinki train station to support the nine million brave people who have withdrawn from the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliated organizations, and to protest against the Communist regime's atrocities in Sujiatun Concentration Camp where Falun Gong practitioners have been killed and their organs removed for profit and their bodies cremated to destroy evidence of the crimes. They called upon all kind-hearted people to stand together to condemn the Chinese Communist Party and stop the atrocities.

Banners reading, "Urgently Rescue Persecuted Falun Gong Practitioners" and "The Nine Commentaries has Triggered 9 Million Brave Withdrawals from the CCP," were displayed. Posters exposing the Chinese Communist regime's history of persecuting its own people and the killing of Falun Gong practitioners in Sujiatun Concentration Camp were laid out on the ground. Many people came to sign a petition calling for the immediate end to the atrocities in Sujiatun Concentration Camp.

Among the protesters were two women wearing a "hunger strike" sign. While giving out leaflets exposing the Chinese Communist regime's atrocities, they called on people to help stop this violence together.

The reporter interviewed participant Ms. Chen. She said, "When I first heard about the atrocities in Sujiatun Concentration Camp committed by the Chinese Communist regime against Falun Gong practitioners, I was extremely shocked and saddened. Today I would like to express my strongest protest against the evil Chinese Communist Party by taking part in the 24-hour hunger strike. These terrible atrocities occurred in today's civilized world, and it is a shame for the whole human race and the whole world. I hope my actions will help to awaken people's conscience and sense of justice so that urgent action can be taken to rescue the persecuted Falun Gong practitioners."

When the activities began, it was very chilly, with strong winds followed by snow. But the bad weather didn't affect people's concern. The voice of support and questions of concern were heard continuously: "Well done!" "I Support you!" "Wish you luck!" "I want to know more," "How can I help you?" "Where can I learn Falun Gong?"

During the event, people in succession accepted practitioners' leaflets and came to sign the petition. A lot of people came straightaway to give their signature when they saw the sign about the petition. It was so cold that the pens on the petition table often didn't work. However, such a little hurdle didn't matter at all: People either took out their own pens to sign or waited patiently while the volunteers tried different pens.

A student from the University of Helsinki spoke to Falun Gong practitioner Dr. Li who is doing research work at the University. The student said, "This topic is really not easy. It is too brutal. But I know Falun Gong is very peaceful, similar to Tai Chi." Dr. Li told him about the Epoch Times' editorial, the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, which details the true nature of the Party. Dr. Li recommended that the student read it on the Internet, to help him understand why the Chinese Communist regime would persecute Falun Gong. The student said he would, and also signed the petition.

A few girls in bright colorful clothes came to the petition table with smiles. When they saw the sign reading, "Falun Gong practitioners killed and their organs removed in the concentration camp," they immediately stopped laughing and asked the practitioner who was holding the sign a set of questions: "What is Falun Gong? Why is Falun Gong persecuted? How is the human rights problem in China related to us?" The practitioner explained to them, "Falun Gong is a cultivation method that originated in China. It teaches people to be good people by following the principles of 'Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance.' The Communist Party is evil and promotes lies, evilness and violence. Therefore it wants to persecute good people. Even Falun Gong practitioners in Finland have been interfered with by the Communist Party."

The practitioner continued, "Nowadays you can see many cheap products in Finnish stores that are made in China. Many of them were made by Chinese people detained in forced labor camps, and among them many are Falun Gong practitioners who are being detained for their firm belief in 'Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance.' You know that there are many large Finnish companies doing business with China. These companies have to follow the orders of the Chinese Communist regime, which does not allow the companies to hire Falun Gong practitioners and does not allow these companies to have their own correct view about Falun Gong. If they do not agree, they are not allowed to do business in China. The regime uses money and commercial interest to silence big companies, as well as many governments and media. Consequently, the regime is able to escalate the persecution of Falun Gong continuously without much restriction. The atrocities of killing and taking organs from living Falun Gong practitioners and cremating their bodies in the Sujiatun Concentration Camp are totally beyond people's imagination; it is truly the actions of demons. Could we still stay silent? Isn't silence indulging those crimes? The result of our silence would be that more people would be persecuted. The disasters brought by the Nazis in Germany to the whole of Europe and the world in World War II demonstrated this very clearly." The girls all nodded in agreement and then carefully signed the petition.

Taiwan: The People of Xinzhu Condemn the Atrocities of Sujiatun Concentration Camp

On March 26, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners in Xinzhu County and Xinzhu City held signature collection activities on Beipu Old Street and East Gate Circle, to condemn the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP's) atrocity of harvesting the organs of living Falun Gong practitioners. In spite of the recent bad weather, Falun Gong practitioners weren't deterred. Many people signed to collectively condemn the CCP's bloody brutality.

The activity coordinator said that it had been seven years since the persecution was launched on July 20, 1999. As many as 6,000 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to such inhumane means of persecution in Sujiatun Concentration Camp. She believed this exposure was only a tiny part of the persecution. Many similar concentration camps will be exposed soon.

People sign their names to condemn the CCP's bloody atrocity

A Falun Gong practitioner originally from Shandong Province said that the CCP had extremely tight control over its propaganda. The whole state apparatus has been utilized to slander Falun Gong. However, when the Sujiatun incident was exposed, the CCP, which is always good at deceiving people, chose to keep silent. They were either out of ideas as to how to respond, or got busy destroying the evidence.

Ms. Chen, a local resident, said the victims' pictures were too cruel to be seen. She said that the CCP will surely be punished by heaven for its brutality. Ms. Bai said it was absolutely horrible! She had been wondering how come there were so many organs available in Mainland China. Anyone who needed an organ transplant would go to Mainland China for surgery. Now she knew why.

Since March 8, when the Minghui/Clearwisdom website exposed the live-harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners' organs in a concentration camp in Sujiatun, Shenyang Province, Falun Gong practitioners around the world initiated signature drives and candlelight vigils to expose these atrocities of the CCP. They called for people to show courage and collectively condemn and cast away the CCP regime, which has committed such inhuman crimes.
