  • Germany: Practice Experience Sharing Conference Held on New Year's Eve in Erbach

On the afternoon of December 30th, 2005, two hundred Falun Gong practitioners attended the annual German practice experience sharing conference held in Erbach, Germany. This experience sharing conference has become a focal point of the annual four-day-long New Year gathering in recent years.

A female practitioner, in her 50s, gave an account of how she was forced to leave her home in China. When she attended the petition activities at the Chinese Consulate for the first time after arriving in Germany, she could not help but burst into tears, for it had been four years that she wasn't able to practice Falun Gong exercises publicly.

Besides exchanges about the situation in China, five practitioners shared how they improved themselves in a far friendlier environment on foreign soil. A western practitioner delivered a speech about how she got rid of the attachment of being unwilling to shoulder responsibilities before she was finally able to handle events independently, such as organizing photos for exhibitions.

Cultivation is not equivalent to doing work. This was an experience shared by a Chinese practitioner from southern Germany. Reminded by other practitioners, she realized when she was composing a group dance for fellow practitioners that she didn't spend enough time studying the principles of Falun Dafa. After she strengthened her study and started reading one lecture of Zhuan Falun every day, she recognized her attachment very easily, and came to the enlightenment that practice is not doing work.

The rest of the practitioners who gave speeches at the conference also talked about their practice experience obtained from attending Falun Gong activities. At the dining table after the conference, some practitioners were still discussing what they had learned from the conference. Some said they had noticed their own shortcomings by listening to the speeches; some stated that they had established a better understanding about issues they used to feel unclear about in the past. For them, this experience sharing conference has been a site to "encourage learning and mutual practice."

The experience sharing conference was attended by nearly two hundred practitioners

German Human Rights Activist: "Every Single Penny Invested in China Supports the Chinese Communists' Evil Regime"

With his gentleman's manner and smiling face, German human rights activist Mr. Muller looks as kindly as one's grandfather. At this moment, he stood before a large audience and said seriously, "I want to tell everyone that every single penny invested in China now is supporting the evil Chinese Communist regime and making the already terrible human rights problems in China even worse."

Warm-hearted Mr. Muller is a human rights activist. He has rescued many people, including Tibetans, Falun Gong practitioners, Cubans, Vietnamese and Cambodians. Mr. Muller has put a lot of effort into combating the injustices that have taken place in other countries.

    Mr. Tiluck hosting the seminar

The seminar on China's Human Rights held in Munich

On December 12th, on behalf of the International Human Rights Association, Mr. Muller attended a seminar in Munich on China's Human Rights and delivered a very impressive speech. "Ever since the Chinese Communist Party took power in China, from the Land Reform, the Great Leap Forward movement, Anti-Rightist campaign to the Great Cultural Revolution, many political movements have caused countless human rights tragedies. To date, the human rights problems are still very common under the Chinese Communist regime. Falun Gong practitioners, Tibetans, Uighurs and people in Taiwan are constantly being brutally suppressed and threatened. The Chinese Communist regime has been killing people all the time. And all these killings served the purpose of threatening other groups."

This seminar was held at the University of Munich Philosophy Department on the evening of December 12th. The speakers included Mr. Martin Kritzler from the German branch of the World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong and Chairman of the Eastern Turkish Alliance, Mr. Arsco Dan.

Mr. Martin Kritzler exposed that so far, there are 2,792 confirmed deaths of Falun Gong practitioners as a result of the Chinese Communist regime's persecution of Falun Gong. The geographical area involved in the persecution, the number of people being persecuted, and the severity and duration of the persecution are all unprecedented in the history of China and the world. The Chinese Communist regime carries out a policy of state terrorism against Falun Gong, including, "Defaming their reputation, bankrupting them financially and destroying them physically." He cited a few examples from this genocidal persecution, including the following cases: Ms. Wu Lingxia, from Shuanyashan City of Heilongjiang Province, who suffered hepatocirrhosis as result of torture and died a few days after being sent home, leaving her little son behind; Ms. Wang Xia, of the Bayanzhuoer District of Linhe City, Inner Mongolia, who was repeatedly force-fed and injected with harmful psychotropic drugs while in prison until her weight was reduced from 55 kg to about only 20 kg. Mr. Kritzler called on people to help stop this brutal persecution.

Mr. Arsco Dan described the Chinese Communist regime's bloody suppression of the Uighurs and the destruction of their language and culture. In the seminar, they also aired the short documentary made by Mr. Wu Hongda of the Laogai (education through forced labor) Foundation, exposing the Chinese Communist regime's massive killings of innocent people and the trading of human organs from prisoners sentenced to death.

    The attentive audience

    Audience member raising a question

The audience was extremely shocked by the Chinese Communist regime's violence, and raised many questions. They discussed with the speakers about the root of the regime's terrible human rights situation, and also discussed possible solutions.

    "I Believe Falun Gong Practitioners"

Some participants were too astounded to believe the torture pictures projected by Mr. Martin Kriztler. They even asked if they were real. Mr. Muller replied, "I have contacts with many Falun Gong practitioners. They are really good people. I believe them. I believe what they say is true."

    Mr. Peter Muller

The Chinese Communist Party is the root of all evil

In the discussion section, a Chinese participant said that he saw through the CCP since the Tiananmen Square Massacre. "On the night of the June 4th [1989], I helped to rescue the wounded and saw with my own eyes many dead and wounded students. After June 4th, the CCP lied to the whole world, saying that they didn't fire a single shot, and branded the harmless students and Beijing residents as hooligans who beat and burnt to death many soldiers. The whole nation had to fall in with the Party line."

Peter Muller said that the CCP is the root of all evil in China. He continued, "Since it took the power, this evil Party has turned the People's Republic of China into a wicked republic. The existence of this demon is a threat to the world peace. Now it is hiding its claws, but when it grows strong, it will show the world its real evil nature."

Mr. Muller called on Western companies not to invest in China now. "I want to tell everyone that every single penny invested in China now supports the evil Chinese Communist regime and makes the already terrible human rights problem in China even worse."

One audience member asked how to treat these Western businessmen who are only thinking about profit. Mr. Muller replied: "Starting from everyone, not buying shares in their businesses is a form of economic sanction against them."

Mr. Muller pointed out that some German politicians ignored China's human rights problems for the sake of economic benefits. They took a very lenient attitude towards the Chinese Communist regime. He especially cited the example of former Chinese leader Jiang Zemin's visit to Berlin in 2002. He watched the protest activities, standing by the side of the road at the time. The plainclothes agents from China demanded to check everyone's ID on the spot. Mr. Muller complained to the German police at the scene, but the German police didn't take any action, and even told him that this was part of the agreement with China.

At this moment, a German young man in the audience raised his hands and said, "You should have told him that in Germany, only German police and civil servants can demand to check people's IDs such as passports. If unauthorized people want to do this, everyone has the right to tell the German police to stop it. This is a crime. If the German police ignore this, the police can be sued for neglect of duty."

Many participants concluded that getting rid of the CCP is the only way out for China's human rights problems and is a must for world peace.

This was the second of a series of seminars on China's political and economic issues in Munich. The seminar was jointly organized by the International Human Rights Association and German Epoch Times.
