  • Birmingham, Alabama (USA): Sexual Abuse of Women Practitioners in China Exposed at Rally Supporting Resignations from the CCP

Ms. Zhou Xuefei had been subjected to persecution imposed upon her by the communist regime in China. In October 2004, she eventually came to the USA to be reunited with her husband. On the afternoon of December 17, 2005, Ms. Zhou was invited to come to Birmingham, the capital of Alabama, to participate in a rally supporting 6 million withdrawals from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), and to make a speech. She used her personal experience to expose the malevolent CCP regime's ruthless and inhuman persecution.

Ms. Zhou Xuefei makes a speech at a rally supporting resignations from the CCP

Ms. Zhou said, "Several days ago, on the Minghui/Clearwisdom website, I read about a violent incident in which two women Falun Gong practitioners were raped by a Chinese policeman in Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province. The policeman named He Xuejian raped two middle-aged Falun Gong practitioners. Shortly after this incident, on December 13, that was the second day after my birthday, I read another report from Minghui entitled, 'Husband of Han Yuzhi in a Dilemma, Loses Contact with His Wife Who Had Been Raped.' Being afraid of the malevolent CCP's insidious retaliation, Han Yuzhi's husband, Liu Jianzeng, who had risked his life to try to seek redress from the police station, was forced to compromise. He dared not seek justice for his wife, the mother of two children. Han Yuzhi said to her husband in grief and indignation, 'I was raped.' Later, she left home in grief and bitterness and her whereabouts have been unknown since then. As a woman, from her leaving home in grief, I understand how much she has been suffering.

"As a Falun Gong practitioner from Mainland China, in June 2000, under the CCP's senseless persecution, we had no other recourse but to go to appeal for justice for Falun Gong at the State Council appeals office. But the police guarded the appeals office. Once they got our names, they would send us back to our hometown. So I went to Zhongnanhai [the central government compound] to unfurl a banner. The police took me to a place. I asked which police station it was. They did not dare to tell me. Later, I managed to learn that it was Fuyoujie Police Station, located in the area where the "April 25" peaceful appeal took place in 1999. That afternoon, we were arrested and taken there. It poured rain outside, while inside, they took turns 'interrogating' me. I did not tell them my name and address. I did not know what time it was. I only remember that a short, thin police officer who seemed to have received education and looked in his 30s suddenly threatened me, 'If you don't tell me, then after midnight, you'll see how I'll treat you!' I know as a woman, hearing such words, the threatening implication was evident enough. Afterwards, he threatened me several more times. The tears ran down my face. I felt it was really ... they are equal to the tools of this evil CCP.

"I was also persecuted and imprisoned at Guangdong Province's Women Forced Labor Camp. The address is No.1 Section, Sanshui District, Foshan City. In 2003, I was detained in Room 305, Division No. 2 of the so-called 'Special Control Brigade' that was dedicated to persecuting Falun Gong. My bed was near a balcony. On the top layer of the bunk bed was a young woman practitioner was from Zhanjiang, Guangdong Province. An elder woman practitioner told me about her before she left the labor camp. That is to say, only the elder practitioner knew it. Then for testifying in the future, the elder practitioner told me that the young woman practitioner from Zhanjiang had been raped by the police at a police station before being sent here. She was not married yet! Concerning the matter of privacy, under such severe circumstances, it is too difficult to mention it. That is to say, cases like this that have not yet been exposed, were really cruel facts.

"After learning that Han Yuzhi had left home, just several days ago, an idea came into my mind. I'd like to speak out here: In the past six years of persecution, Luo Gan, this main perpetrator, has inserted a dark hand into the public security system and political and judiciary system in Mainland China. His crimes are unpardonable."

Taiwan Falun Dafa Association Asks Argentina To Bring Assailants to Justice

During China Politburo member Luo Gan's visit to Argentina, a gang of Chinese nationals were hired to beat up peacefully protesting Falun Dafa practitioners outside the National Congress building. Police on the scene didn't take any action to stop the assailants. On the afternoon of December 20, representative of Taiwan Falun Dafa Association, Professor Chang Ching-Hua, presented a protest letter to the Argentina Office of Commerce and Culture in Taiwan. The letter calls on Argentina as an independent free country to not sacrifice human rights and justice to become an accomplice to the CCP, and asks Argentina to investigate the incident and bring the assailants to justice.

Representative from Taiwan Falun Dafa Association asks the secretary to convey the protest letter to Argentina Liaison Office in Taiwan

In the letter, Taiwan Falun Dafa Association stated that Argentina is an independent, free and constitutional country. The people have the right to express their opinions freely. But the police allowed thugs to assault people peacefully expressing their ideas. This gives the world a strong suspicion that the Argentina government surrendered to CCP pressure, and ordered their police to stand by while Chinese assailants beat up Falun Gong practitioners.

The Chinese Communist Party's human rights violation record is notorious. Its dictatorship over Chinese people won't last long. If Argentina has economical relations with it, Argentina should not sacrifice fundamental values, human rights and its constitution.

Falun Dafa Association put forth the following two requests to Argentinean government:

Immediately investigate and prosecute the assailants to maintain the country's image.

Since Argentine police allowed the attacks to continue unabated, a few Falun Gong practitioners and other Argentine citizens were injured. The Argentine government should publicly apologize to the victims and promise that such a thing will not happen again.

Chang called on the international community to condemn the CCP for extending violence overseas. Otherwise any country is under the threat.

Luo Gan is being sued for genocide and crimes against humanity in more than 15 countries, among them Chile, Bolivia, Peru, Belgium, Finland, Armenia, Moldavia, Iceland, Spain, Taiwan, Germany, Korea, Canada, Japan and Sweden. At the same time, Luo Gan is considered a person who is not welcome in Canada and the United States.

A police officer accompanied Professor to present the letter to the Argentine authorities. Later he said that Falun Gong was always peaceful everywhere in Taiwan. He also said he learned a lot after hearing the truth about Falun Gong.

Another police officer name Wu said that Taiwan police will not "take no action" at the violence like Argentina police and will not let violence happen in front of them.

The Republic of Korea: Practitioners Call on Argentina to Bring CCP Thugs to Justice

On the afternoon of December 20, practitioners in the Republic of Korea held a rally in front of Argentina Embassy and issued a statement to protest the extension of CCP persecution to other countries, and the Argentina police's tacit consent of CCP violence. They called on Argentina Government to resist CCP pressure and bring CCP thugs beating Falun Gong practitioners to justice.

Korean practitioners hold a rally in front of Argentina Embassy

On December 14, 2005, practitioners held a rally on the square outside Argentina's Parliament and protested Luo Gan's visit to Argentina. Luo Gan is one of the prime culprits in the persecution of Falun Gong in China. One day before, local practitioners filed a lawsuit against Luo Gan for his crimes of genocide and torture in Argentina Federal Court.

When the practitioners unfurled banners to protest Luo Gan and CCP delegation on the square, thugs dispatched by CCP embassy brutally beat the practitioners, and snatched their banners and posters. Argentines who stepped forward to stop the violence were beaten to bleeding. Police on the scene did not intervene and were said to have orders to not intervene. The police did not take any of the CCP thugs into custody. Many reporters and local residents were present and saw the brutal violence.

Thus, Falun Dafa Association in the Republic of Korea issued statement requesting Argentina's Government and police to arrest the thugs and bring them to justice, to investigate the responsibility of the officials giving tacit consent to the violence, and to make arrangements to prevent the occurrence of similar incidents.

A spokesperson of the Falun Dafa Association in the Republic of Korea read out the statement in both Korean and English and handed in it to associate ambassador of Argentina Embassy.

Sydney, Australia: Practitioners Hand in an Open Letter to Argentina Consulate

At noon on December 19, practitioners in Sydney held a rally in front of the Argentine Consulate and handed in an open letter.

An incident occurred on December 14, 2005, when Luo Gan, one of the culprits of the persecution of Falun Gong in China, visited Argentina. When the practitioners unfurled banners to protest Luo Gan and CCP (Chinese Communist Party) delegation on parliament square, thugs who were dispatched by CCP embassy brutally beat the practitioners, and snatched their banners and truth-clarification posters. Argentine people who stepped forward to stop the violence were beaten to bleeding. Police on site did not intervene and were said to have orders to not intervene. Argentina police did not take any of the CCP thugs into custody.

Noon is the busiest time in downtown Sydney. Practitioners unfurled banners and distributed truth-clarification literature.

Practitioners hand in the open letter to Argentina Consulate

Mr. John Deller, a practitioner from Falun Dafa Association of New South Wales read out the open letter to the Argentina Consulate.

The open letter expressed the practitioners' concern to the incident and requested the Argentina Consulate General to extend the letter to Argentina Government. The practitioners asked Argentina not to follow CCP and violate human rights. CCP's brutal persecution of Falun Gong is well known and has lasted for more than six years. At least 2791 practitioners were tortured to death due to CCP police brutality and documented.

At the end of the letter, the practitioners requested Argentina Government to support freedom, human rights and righteousness and help end the persecution.

Another practitioner gave speech about the incident and handed in the open letter to Argentina Consulate with Mr. Deller.

United Kingdom: Falun Gong Practitioners Urge Argentina to Resist CCP's Despotic Pressure

On the morning of December 21, 2005, representatives from the United Kingdom Falun Gong Association and European Friends of Falun Gong held a gathering outside the Argentinean Embassy in London. They delivered open letters demanding that the Argentine government not bow to the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) despotic power, and asked that they uphold justice, thoroughly investigate the incident of attacks on practitioners in Argentina, and bring the Chinese attackers and the behind-the-scenes perpetrators of this incident to justice.

    Protesting outside the Argentine Embassy

The incident in question took place on December 14 outside the Argentine Parliament building during the visit of top-ranking Chinese official, Luo Gan, who is one of the principal culprits in the persecution of Falun Gong. Assailants sent from the Chinese Embassy attacked practitioners who were holding a peaceful protest against the CCP delegation's visit led by Luo Gan. The assailants snatched the practitioners' banners and posters. Even some Argentinean bystanders were injured when they tried to stop the attackers. However, the Argentinean police at the scene did little to stop the assaults. This was because the police had received orders from upper level authorities not to intervene in the assaults.

The open letters from the UK Falun Gong Association and European Friends of Falun Gong urged the Argentine authorities not to bow to excessive political and economic pressure from the CCP, conduct a prompt and thorough investigation of the incident, and bring the assailants to justice.

Falun Gong practitioners and members of the European Friends of Falun Gong arrived at the Argentinean Embassy at 11:00 a.m. They displayed banners reading, "Falun Dafa is Great," "Stop Persecuting Falun Gong," and "Do not Kowtow to Chinese Dictators." Some of the practitioners distributed Falun Gong truth-clarification literature to passersby. The open letters were read publicly and then submitted to the Argentinean Embassy.

Italy: Practitioners from Milan Protest at the Thai Consulate and Deliver an Open Letter

After the December 15, 2005 protest outside the Thai Consulate in Torino, Falun Gong practitioners went to the Thai Consulate in Milan to express their concern about the human rights violations by the Thai police who arrested Falun Gong practitioners at the behest of the Chinese Embassy in Bangkok. Practitioners urged the Thai government not to collaborate with the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) in persecuting Falun Gong.

Practitioners holding a banner worded "Bring Jiang Zemin to Justice"

Practitioners from the Italian Falun Gong Association also called the Thai Embassy in Rome to protest the human rights violations. They urged the Thai government to have an open mind, to take note of the more than six million withdrawals from the CCP and not become a part of the CCP's demise.

Practitioners sending forth righteous thoughts in front of the Thai Embassy

The Thai Consulate is on the outskirts of Milan. Practitioners put up display boards, hung up their banners and then peacefully practiced the Falun Gong exercises and sent forth righteous thoughts. Many local residents and passers-by willingly accepted our flyers. A few Italian people said they already knew about the brutal persecution of Falun Gong in China through TV and other media. One middle-aged woman asked to sign our petition. She said, "In the face of such barbaric acts, we have to do something. I came from Somalia and upon hearing about what's happening in China, I'm very disturbed."

Another woman said, "The Western world has always known about the brutality and evilness of the Communist Party. This kind of system needs to be removed. In China, not only are the Falun Gong practitioners brutally persecuted, but also many underground Christians. Upon seeing so many Chinese people quitting the CCP, we feel comforted. But I think the number is not large enough; I hope more and more Chinese people can wake up and quit the CCP." She also introduced practitioners to the offices of a few newspapers so that more people can have the opportunity to learn about the evilness of the CCP and the massive "Quit the CCP" movement.

On December 10th -- International Human Rights Day -- while practitioners were protesting in front of the Chinese Embassy in Thailand, Thai police were instigated by embassy officials to search practitioners' bags, drag them away, and seize their banners. On December 14th, two practitioners were beaten and then three were arrested when they distributed materials exposing the evil nature of the Chinese Communist Party in the tourist city of Pattaya. They were released that night. On December 15, eight practitioners were arrested in front of the Chinese Embassy by Thai police. They are still detained. These actions violate the human rights of the Falun Gong practitioners of Thailand, a legally registered, law-abiding local group.

Ottawa, Canada: Falun Dafa Practitioners Request Argentinean Police to Arrest the Assailants

On December 19, 2005, Falun Gong practitioners from Ottawa, the capital of Canada, presented a letter to Argentina's Embassy, requesting to have a meeting with the Ambassador about the recent situation in which Argentine police did not carry out their duty to stop hired thugs from assaulting Falun Gong practitioners. Ruffians harassed practitioners and stole their banners and truth-clarification materials during their peaceful protest on the occasion of Luo Gan's visit.

On December 13, Luo Gan, a member of the Chinese Politburo and one of the people most responsible for the persecution of Falun Gong in China, visited Argentina. On that day, the local Falun Dafa Association sued Luo in Argentina's Federal Court for genocide and torture. The next day, Falun Gong practitioners were beaten outside of the National Congress building by a gang of Chinese thugs hired by the Chinese Embassy. The police on site didn't stop the assailants and sources said the policemen received orders from high levels not to stop them.

The letter addressed to the Argentinean Ambassador stated that Luo Gan is in charge of the 610 Office, an illegal organization that is responsible for persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. In the past six years, the Chinese Communist Party has used prison, torture, extortion, and murder to persecute the peaceful Falun Gong practitioners. Luo Gan was sued for genocide in Argentina the day before his visit there.

On December 14, when Falun Gong practitioners were protesting in front of the National Congress building against the Chinese Communist delegation led by Luo Gan, they were assaulted by thugs hired by the Chinese Embassy. Their banners and truth-clarification materials were stolen.

In the letter, the Falun Dafa Association of Canada stated that when other nations speak up to condemn the persecution, they sincerely hope that the Argentinean government will choose the side of righteousness and not help the Chinese Communist regime to violate people's human rights. The practitioners asked the Argentinean government to investigate the incident and take action to prevent such incidents from happening again.

Portugal: European Practitioners Urge Chinese Premier to End CCP's Persecution of Falun Gong

On December 9 and 10, 2005, Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao visited Portugal. During this time, Falun Gong practitioners from Portugal, Spain, and other European countries gathered in Lisbon and held a series of activities, demanding that Wen Jiabao and the Chinese government stop the persecution of Falun Gong and unconditionally release all imprisoned Falun Gong practitioners.

Calling for an end to the persecution of Falun Gong in China

Portuguese yearning for facts of Falun Gong

At midday on the 9th, Falun Gong practitioners held an activity to collect petition signatures on Rossio Square, the busiest and most crowded area in Lisbon. A large number of Portuguese people were anxious to find out about what's happening in China. Practitioners explained to them that Falun Gong is a cultivation practice for improving the mind and body. They also exposed the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP's) persecution of Falun Gong. People stood around the photos of torture and silently learned about the unimaginable torments suffered by Falun Gong practitioners in Mainland China. They were deeply moved, and signed the petition to show their sympathy and support for Falun Gong.

In the early morning of the 10th, Falun Gong practitioners gathered outside the Hotel Ritz where Wen Jiabao was staying. Practitioners displayed banners reading, "Falun Gong is Great," and "Bring Jiang Zemin, Luo Gan, Liu Jing and Zhou Yongkang to Justice." Kind-hearted Portuguese people, after seeing the banners, came to ask about what the Chinese banners said, what Falun Gong is and why the CCP wants to persecute it. Practitioners answered their questions one by one and gave them informational leaflets. People who learned the truth gave the practitioners the thumbs-up sign or honked their car horns to express their support. Patrolling police who learned the truth smiled and waved. They were very willing to receive the leaflets.

Calling to bring Jiang, Luo, Liu and Zhou to justice

A middle-aged Portuguese person asked a practitioner why the CCP persecutes Falun Gong. The practitioner replied, "The CCP does not allow freedom of belief or any ideas other than their own. It does not allow people to be good by following Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance, the principles of Falun Gong. Good people are being beaten and put into prison. Over the six years of the persecution, 2,791 practitioners are verified to have been persecuted to death. Today the Chinese Premier comes here, and we Falun Gong practitioners are asking him to stop the persecution and punish the criminals." Upon hearing this, the Portuguese man took a leaflet at once and said, "You're doing very well, you are remarkable." He bowed, and pressed his hands together to the practitioner to express his esteem.

    Chinese people support Falun Gong

The local Chinese people also stopped to find out more. A young man drove his car nearby just to see the banners. When the car stopped, he kept on saying "Falun Gong is great!" and, "Bring Jiang Zemin, Luo Gan, Liu Jing, Zhou Yongkang to justice!" He gave the practitioners the thumbs-up sign and said, "Well done, I support you." Then he drove off. Later, a car full of Chinese people passed by and stopped in front of the banners. After reading the banners they smiled and waved to practitioners, and then left. On the road opposite the event, there was a group of Chinese officials who couldn't take their eyes off the banners. After reading them, they smiled broadly and some were even discussing them.

    Embarrassed Chinese officials

After seeing the Chinese banners across the road, an elderly Portuguese man wanted to know what they meant. Two Chinese officials also happened to be reading the banners. The elderly man politely greeted them in English, and they replied in the same manner. The elderly man asked, "Could you help me please?" The officials nodded. The old man pointed at the banners and said, "Could you please tell me what the banners say?" The officials instantly showed embarrassment, with their heads hung low. They did not reply and hurriedly left. The man was quite puzzled. A practitioner went up to him, and asked him with a smile, "This is a Falun Gong flyer; would you like to read it?" The man was delighted to receive the material, and retold the story of how he wanted to find out the meaning of the banners. The practitioner translated them for him immediately. He was very grateful and left satisfied.

When the practitioners holding banners saw crowds of Chinese officials carefully reading the banners, the practitioners passionately shouted, "Falun Gong is great. Fellow Chinese people, greetings. Falun Gong is great!" Upon seeing the friendliness of the practitioners, these officials were a bit troubled. They did not reply and could only lower their heads and walk away in a hurry.

On December 10th, practitioners gathered outside the Hotel Ritz where Wen Jiabao was staying. Practitioners displayed banners, told people about the persecution of Falun Gong and demanded that the prime criminals and other high-ranking officials involved in the persecution be brought to justice. The practitioners used loudspeakers and called out loudly, "Falun Gong is good. Stop persecuting Falun Gong. Bring Jiang Zemin to justice." Their actions attracted the interest and attention of reporters who were attending the press conference inside the hotel. Reporters from radio stations, television stations, magazine agencies and newspaper agencies all came to interview practitioners. Some recorded, some filmed, and some took pictures. They interviewed the practitioners against the beautiful background music of "Pudu."

TSF, a well-known local radio station, repeatedly broadcast its report that same afternoon about the trade between China and Portugal and also about Falun Gong practitioners' activities to bring Jiang Zemin, Luo Gan, Liu Jing and Zhou Yongkang to justice. Radio Renascence broadcasted an interview with a practitioner in detail. Among the topics covered, were, what is Falun Gong? Why is it being persecuted by the CCP? While welcoming Wen Jiabao here, Falun Gong practitioners are also requesting him to stop the persecution of Falun Gong and punish the murderers and other high-ranking officials involved in the suppression. One of Portugal's major TV stations, SIC TV, broadcast an interview with a Falun Gong practitioner during its news at 8 p.m. on December 9th. They reported, "Falun Gong practitioners' intentions are quite clear. One is to welcome Wen Jiabao to Portugal, and the other is to stop the persecution of Falun Gong. Over the last six years of suppression, there have already been more than two thousand practitioners who have died as a result of torture." Through these reports, the people of Portugal were able learn the truth of Falun Gong.

    Wen Jiabao's return journey

At 3 p.m. on December 10th, Wen Jiabao departed from the hotel and started on his journey back to China. A motorcade was closely following behind Wen Jiabao's car and the Chinese officials opened all their car windows. At this point, practitioners were holding banners outside, with the message: "Falun Gong is good. Bring Jiang Zemin to justice! Stop persecuting Falun Gong!" The words on the banners clearly came into their view and the calls for justice filled their ears. Some of them were smiling, some waving and some were even giving the practitioners the thumbs-up.

Seeing the banners, listening to the practitioners' calls to stop the persecution and to bring the prime criminals to justice, Wen Jiabao left the hotel and embarked on his return journey.
